"I think he will. He's forgiven us for thinking that he was the owner of the black dragon that hurt Angelus and Max," Alex replied.

" I'm glad he has. I knew I shouldn't have trusted Bryce. When I figure he was playing me It was much too late. I feel bad for making Taylor worry about me so much. That's why I'm going to retire as an investigator and get a quiet job. " Michael said.

"I'm sure he'll enjoy hearing that," Alex said before hearing knocking on the door. Grabbing one of his swords, he cautiously made his way towards the door, wondering just who it was.

Greg knocked on the door and was cautious. He didn't want to get caught by the scientists that were just a few miles away from here. He had to let Alex and the others know about this.

Alex made his way to the front door with Michael behind him. "Be ready, just in case," he said as he saw Michael nod lightly before inching the door open just a tad. Seeing that it was Greg, he quickly let the trainer inside before asking if he was followed.

" I wasn't. I made sure of that. There are some soldiers a few miles from here and they are getting closer. " Greg said after catching his breath.

"Alright. Thanks for letting me know Greg, and thanks for letting me know how close they are," Alex said. "I'm not exactly sure what there is to eat, but if you or Axel are hungry, you're welcome to make something quick. Michael, can you let the others know that we should be getting ready for battle?" He asked, knowing that everyone knew what they were going to do. It was times like these that he wished he had a Bishie who was telepathic. And no, Angelus didn't count.

Greg nodded and headed toward the kitchen with Axel.


" I will. " Michael said and went to tell everyone about the upcoming battle.

"Thanks," Alex replied before getting ready for the battle, knowing that out of any of the trainers fighting that he would be one of the guys they would go for first, especially since he had the most bishies that were fighting.

Eve was nervous that the fight would be starting soon and hoped her friends would be safe. She thanked Greg for the Bishiedex and would call Gina once the fight was over.

"You're welcome," Greg stated. "Alex also wanted to tell you to stay safe when we start fighting, also...I suggest talking to Alex after the fight. He should have all the numbers you need to add," he said after giving her the device.

" I promise I will stay safe. Okay. I'll ask Alex. Thank you again." Eve said to Greg. She was glad she was officially a trainer.

Greg nodded and grinned, knowing that Eve would be okay. Heading outside, he went to find other people.

Simon was feeling nervous. He didn't like it that the sensors were picking up more and more people. The readings seemed stable for now, but would alert the others once things got bad.

Alex knocked on the door before heading inside, so that Simon didn't freak when he entered. "Anything?" He quickly asked. After finding his Bishies in various forms of training, he had headed to the security room. Not only did he want ask Simon how things were going outside, but also to see if he wanted to fight, and if not, borrow Renamon, knowing that she would want revenge for what happened previously.

" More people are coming up on the sensors. I have a feeling they are soldiers and things could get bad quickly. " Simon replied.

Alex nodded lightly at that, knowing that the fighting was going to happen soon. "Speaking of which...I know Renamon would want to fight, seeing as what they did to her last time, but what about you?" he asked.

" I do, but I'm worried about Renamon." Simon replied. " I could make sure the building is secure so Those that are staying inside will be safe. There's a safe room in the basement that we'll be in. " He added.

"That would be great. I'm sure Carly, Max, Eve and Kirito will enjoy hearing that," Alex replied. "Though I don't think Renamon will enjoy hearing it, if you stop her from fighting," he said, teasing him.

" I don't think she will either, but I know she will understand. I'm wondering of some of the people out there are Michael's people that he said were coming. " Simon wondered. If the fighting was already happening , he thought the sensors would detect it.

"Don't know, but I'm sure they can hold their own either way," Alex said before chuckling lightly. "I don't envy you trying to convince Renamon to stay away from the fighting."

" I'm not looking forward to it. " Simon replied with a small laugh. He knew it was better for her to get some more rest ,since it hadn't been very long since her injuries.

"Wait...has she healed yet?" Ark asked.

"She has , but I'm worried that the School would target her again." Simon said in a worried tone. He had a feeling the School was looking for Renamon and Yugito after they has escaped that night.

"I understand, and I'm glad that I wrong in my assumption," Alex said since he, too, had some reservations about Yugito fighting in this battle, though he had no idea what their objectives would be other than most likely recapturing Max or capturing Carly to make Max come to them.
