" Alex. We need to take these prisoners to the base camp my bosses have set up. There they will question them and take them to a larger facility to be questioned again." Michael said when he found Alex.

"Alright," Alex replied. "Just show me where it is," he added a few seconds later.

Michael nodded and headed toward the command post. He would wait to tell Alex and Simon about his new job here in this town.

Alex followed Michael, but kept his guard up all the same, just in case. After making sure the prisoners were taken to the command post, Alex would head inside to let the others know it was safe to come out.

Michael showed his ID card and told the officer that Alex was with him. " We need to wait a little bit before my boss is able to see us. He's on the phone. " He said.

Alex nodded and waited with Michael.

" It's good to see the both of you. " Chief Gary Harris said with a grin. " We have 45 members of the school currently , but hope to at least have 200 by the end of the day. Some of the higher ups have escaped , but they have nothing to go back too. They'll just be fugitives until they get caught, but they can't cause any more trouble. " He said to both Michael and Alex , once he had got off the phone.

"I'm glad to hear that. Carly and Max no longer have to worry about the School hunting them," Alex said with happiness.

" They don't. They might need to testify , but we will let you all know. " Gary said. " Has Michael told you his good news?" He asked hoping Alex approved of the gym's new leader.

"No, he hasn't." Alex said as he turned towards Michael with a raised eyebrow.

" I'm going to be working for the local gym. I was appointed the leader, but I want to ask Simon if he wants to do it instead. I could just be one of the trainers under him, if he wants the job. "Michael explained. He didn't feel comfortable as a leader.

"I have a feeling that Simon would probably take that job from you, but I have a feeling he'll ask for Renamon's opinion as well," Alex said after congratulating him. He knew that Simon cared for Renamon greatly.

" I know Simon would be good in that position. He knows people here and I feel I need more experience first. Maybe eventually I'll take a job like that, but for now I won't. " Michael said.

Alex nodded at that, knowing that Simon would be better for the job, but knew that Michael would be good as well, especially if he helped Simon with the paperwork as well as being the second in command if/when trainers wanted to battle them.

" Are we ready to tell Simon and the others the good news ?" Michael asked , knowing Taylor would be happy that he had a normal job for once.

"I believe we are. I should probably also give Eve several contact numbers now that she has a Bishidex.

" That sounds like a good idea. Do you think she'll be traveling with you ?" Michael asked.

"Maybe. To be honest, I think she'll do whatever Salem does, which makes sense." Alex replied as they headed back to the safe house.

Salem had finished up healing the prisoners and headed back toward the safe house. He was hoping he and Eve would be able to travel with Alex and the others, since he had always wanted to see other towns.

Alex was glad to see all of his bishies, minus Angelus, safe and sound as he headed inside the safe house, Michael following inside soon after.

Taylor and Sora were heading back to the safe house and wondered where they would go next. It seemed they had been here a long time.

Carly was happy to see that everyone was safe and that the School had finally been defeated. She now hoped that Max could finally be reunited with her family one day.

Alex wondered what to do, now that the School and the Scientists were pretty much taking out of the equation.

"So what you are saying is that you want be to be the leader of the gym?" Simon asked Michael in a hesitant tone. He would take the job, but he would need to ask Renamon first.

"I was wondering if you wanted the job, to be honest," Michael said while nervously rubbing the back of his neck. He thought that Simon would make a better fit for the role rather than himself.

" I do accept the job, but only if you are the next trainer under me. I know you could teach me and Renamon a few things about fighting ." Simon replied. He had always wanted to work at a gym.
