Salem nodded at that, chuckling lightly. "Alright, I will," he said "and thank you," Salem said before the four of them left.

Taylor was surprised at what happened to Deanna today and was glad Sakura was safe. " We need to be careful. " Taylor said to Sora, since he didn't want to lose his friend.

"Agreed," Sora said as he nodded.

" We should get some rest. We could do some training since we'll be here one more day. I hate it that the storms are so bad. " Taylor said and yawned.

"Rest sounds like a good idea," Sora said with a light yawn.

" See you in the morning. " Taylor said and laid on the bed. He hoped tomorrow was going to be a good day.

"See you in the morning Taylor," Sora replied. After Taylor went to sleep, Sora put up a magical barrier around the hotel room they were staying in. If someone hostile tried coming in, he would know about it.

Carly walked silently next to Alex. She wanted to say something to him about her crush, but wasn't sure how to word it without sounding weird.

Thalia was glad Deanna was sleeping and got ready for bed herself. She didn't like it that Alex had also been a target by a rogue trainer.

Max breathed lightly as she saw Carly enter through the door, not realizing the breath she held. "I'm glad you're safe."

"I'm glad too. Alex was with me and we met Salem's bishie." Carly said.

"Salem caught a Bishie? And did you talk to Alex about that?" Max asked. The first question was out of genuine curiosity, the second was asked in a teasing tone.

" Salem did. And I didn't tell Alex anything about that. " Carly said. She never wanted Alex to know since she feared his rejection.

Max sighed, "Carly, you won't know if you don't ask. What if he does return your feelings?" she asked.

" Then I will be happy. You know why I won't tell him. " Carly said. She once had a crush on an old friend of hers who had rejected her. That event had hurt Carly deeply and didn't want to feel that sort of pain ever again.

Max nodded grimly. "I remember, though I think you should still tell him," she said softly. She wasn't going to tell Alex for Carly, knowing that if she was found out, then her trainer and friend would never forgive her.

" I will. " Carly said and yawned. " We better get to bed soon. " She said.

"If you say so," Max replied before yawning lightly. She was tired herself and had semi-worried until Carly had gotten back. While she knew Carly could handle herself and had others with her, she still did worry. Yawning once again, she got into a bed herself before closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Carly fell into bed and slept deeply.There was always something about colder weather that made her sleep like this.

Alex sighed lightly after bidding Carly, Salem and Eve a good night. He had wondered if Carly had a crush on him, but wasn't sure and didn't know if he should bluntly ask her or wait for her to talk to him. He thought about asking Max for a few minutes but figured that would be an invasion of privacy. "What to do..." he muttered before sighing once again.

Carly woke up the next morning and wondered. She knew that today would be the best time for her to tell Alex how she felt about him. She just hoped he didn't reject her.

"Huh?" Alex said as he woke up, stretching lightly to get the kinks out of his body. 'when did I fall asleep?' he mentally asked, wincing lightly when he stood up from his sitting position. Once he was standing, he yawned lightly, noticing the blanket that was draped over him. 'I wonder who...' he thought for a few seconds before shrugging lightly and picking it.

Deanna woke up and smiled and had a feeling that today would be much better than it had the day before. She got in the shower and then got dressed. She would let Thalia and Sakura sleep a little bit longer.

Alex looked in on his Bishies, silently glad that all of them were sleeping in for once, even Jean. A smile graced his face before he slowly closed the door. After everything that happened yesterday, he knew that Jean could use her sleep, as well as Leonius. Turning around, he saw Deanna exit her room. "Letting your Bishies sleep in?" he asked.

" Yep. They had a rough day yesterday. " Deanna said and shuddered at the memory.

"So did Jean. I just hope she slept okay last night," Alex said softly. He knew of her past and had a feeling that this event would have triggered some old wounds to resurface.
