Floor 8 Demon
|
|
"This place is a fucking mess..."
Benjamin ran around the apartment frantically attempting to clean 3 years worth of junk in a few hours. After cleaning the extra bedrooms and bathroom he tackled his own room, tidying and organizing. He grabbed all the clothes he could find (including some that were probably perfectly fine) into the washer, added soap, and started it. It felt stuffy in the apartment and though it was drizzling outside, he opened the windows and balcony door anyway to get some of that "fresh" air. "Acid, don't go anywhere, okay? New roommate's comin' over and I don't want to have to worry about when you're coming back and surprisin' him." Benji stared at the demon. "And definitely no morphing", he exclaimed, pointing a finger at the creature. It stared, unblinking, then turned and walked away. "Whatever...OH! The kitchen... riiight.." Benjamin sulked to the kitchen and worked through the pile of dirty dishes, rinsing and setting them into the dishwasher. He scrubbed the countertops and even the stove, microwave, and fridge. Two hours later, the kitchen was spotless. With only the living room, dining room, and some vacuuming left to do, Benji decided this would be a good time for a break. He patted his jeans, feeling his pockets. "Damn. A perfect time to quit smoking." |
(-leaves huge wall of text- okay here's your reply. For this, I require 30000000000 palla. kthxbai)
Hime was spending her time shoving her clothes, book, some furniture, TV, movies, CDs, ect. Into her old car that her mom had given her. It was her mothers old car that she had used for a long time. It wasn't perfect, but it took her to places that she needed to go to. Although, she wished she could get a new car. A Yellow convertible sports car, to be exact. Hime was moving into a new apartment. It was in a somewhat nice neighbor hood and she could actually afford living there. Hopefully, her room mate wouldn't mind her putting some of her stuff around the apartment. Like a few flower vases and some mirrors, may be some candles or incense to make the room smell pretty. She hadn't seen the place yet, so she wasn't sure if she would haev to add some of her stuff to it or not. But she couldn't wait to see her room and make it look like the way she wanted it. Hime carefully placed her bag full of her hair accessories, dresses, makeup, and hair stuff in the front passenger seat so it would be safe. She didn't want any of that stuff getting bent up or braking. She also did the same with her box full of her shoes and the bag with stuffed animals in it. Hime stretched and closed the doors and trunk to her car. She had been packing for a while. Now she was leaving her moms house. She had lived with her for quite some time. She couldn't afford to live anywhere while she was at school and didn't have a job. She had made lots of memories in this house and had grew up in this house all her life. it was a little sad leaving, but it was time to move on. Hime's eyes started to water a bit but she forced herself to stop. She got into the car and started to drive off towards her new apartment. Her mom was standing on the porch waving good-bye to her as she drove off. Hime waved good-bye to her too, but nearly drive into a light pole since she wasn't paying attention. She managed to not hit the pole, thankfully. Hime did managed to get lost on the way though, it took her forever to find her way back. She didn't do a very good job reading the map at all. She finally found the road the apartment building was on. She parked in front of the building and started dragging her stuff in and out of the elevator. She left her stuff next to the apartment door so that way she could drag it in once she had all her stuff up there. She stacked the three boxes that she had set in the front passenger seat and slowly carried them to the elevator. She held them tightly and close to her. She didn't want anything happening to these boxes since it had all the stuff she needed top make herself look pretty. Once she made it to the apartment door, she sat her box down on the others, and straightened herself up. She ran her hands down her skirt and made all the wrinkles and some of the dust come off. She fixed her hair and put her hat back on. Hime took a deep breath and knocked on the door. She was a little nervous since this was her first time meeting her room-mate. Hopefully, her first impression would be a good one. She waited for her room mate to open the door. (...Okay, I'm sorry for the huge wall of text. o Ao;;;;; hopefully wont happen again!) |
(No probs.)
Benjamin awoke to the sound of someone knocking on the door. Wait, knocking? He groggily propped himself from the floor, looking around for the time. "Why are there no clocks in here?!" Then he remembered the clock his last roommate had set on the microwave. "8:32... okay... shit... What time was the new guy supposed to be here?" He slapped himself alert and sauntered to the door. Wait, where was Acid? Benjamin scanned the area around him quickly, looking for the demon, but seeing no sign. He cursed under his breath and only hoped that Acid would stay out of sight for now. Benjamin didn't really know what to expect of this new room mate. He had never spoken to him. He didn't even know his name. His last room mate had only said that it was taken care of and 2 months later here someone was, knocking on his door. Thinking about it now, he probably should have at least gotten the guy's phone number or something. He only hoped that they would be cool as well. He took a deep breath and opened the door. "... What the fuck?!" |
When the door started to open, Hime smiled and waved hello to her room mate. Before she could say anything, the guy said "What the fuck?". Hime stared at him and blinked a few times. "Did....did I do something wrong? Or is it because I dragged my stuff up here before I knocked?", Hime said tilting her head to the side and looking a little sad. She thought she had angered her new room mate in some way. "Or...did I...come..to late?", she said pausing between words. She was starting to feel bad about coming late. She packed just about everything at the last minutes and stuffed things into the car. She knew she should have started earlier, but she was being a little lazy and waiting for the last day to come before she would pack.
"Umm...well...My names Hime McNight.", Hime held out her hand to her room mate and hopped he would shake it. She just wanted to tell him who she was before they would start talking or fighting. Hopefully, he wasn't mad at her or anything. |
Benjamin stared at this frilly girl standing in his doorway, and then at her outstretched hand.
"Er... one moment..." He left her in the doorway and ran to his room to get his phone. He quickly texted, "dude wtf y didnt you tell me thenew roomie was a chick?! i just cursed at her n looked like an asshole" The response was immediate, biting. "You *are* an asshole." He smirked and tossed the phone to his bed. "Man, I miss him. But I guess that means she is the new roomie. Huh..." He pondered over this for a moment and then remembered that he had left her standing in the doorway. "Ah, crap!" He ran back to the girl and shook her hand. "Hey, sorry about that. Uh... I didn't know... that... you were ... a girl." Smooth. "Anyway Hime, huh? That's a pretty interesting name. Uh, my name is Benjamin. Most people end up calling me Benji though. Let me help you with your stuff." He stepped out into the small hallway and stared at her things. Oh geeze. He was impressed at first. And then the impact of the situation hit. This was a girl all right. "Wow, you carried all this up here? ... You... brought all this?" |
Hime just stood there with her hand outstretched. "Whaa..a?", she said watching her room mate run away somewhere. 'waaah...I did something didn't I? oh god what am I going to do...just stand here like an idiot or drag my stuff in while he's on the phone? Wait...no..I think I'll just wait. Somethings wrong..Did I go to the wrong room or something? Oh god that would be so embarrassing!', Hime continued to talk to herself mentally and think of all the things she had done. She didn't know if she had offended her room mate or if he just always acted this weird...Maybe he acted this way around girls.
Nice. Hime thought she might just have a room mate that was nervous around girls and would always act this weird. her hadn twitched a little at the thought. She was about to put her hand back to hanging next to her when Benjamen came running back and shook her hand. Hime wasn't ready for her hand to be shaken, so her arm flopped up and down like it was an arm to a rag doll. When she heard his remark, she couldn't help but snicker. She placed her hand on her mouth for a few moments and kept herself from snickering. Now that she thought about it, she didn't really tell her room mate she was a girl, but then again, they hadn't talked at all. So she couldn't have told him. "uh...sorry about that and the uh...not telling you I was a girl.", She said blushing a little bit. Hime wished she hadn't snickered a few moments ago. But that was all gone and done, so she couldn't do anything about that. "It's nice to meet you, Benji. Oh, thank you!", Hime said smiling. She turned around and looked at her bags. "Yeah...I brought all of this up here. I mean, it's not all of the stuff. I brought much less then half of my stuff here. I just brought the important stuff. The rest of the stuff is at my mothers house in my old room. Did...I bring to much?", she said tilting her head to the side. "Well...should we start bringing it in now? I kind of want to get it all unpacked in my room so that way i can change into something less thick. It's a little hot out here.", Hime said. |
"Hey don't worry about it. I probably should have asked my room mate or somethin'. My first room mate was a girl and she was a total bit-", he looked at Hime. "Not a nice person... Since then I've just always had guys. Anyway..."
Benjamin took a step back from Hime's things and looked them over. "Tell you what... How about we bring in your box of clothes, I'll show you your room and give a general tour, and then you can change while I bring in the rest of your stuff. How does that sound?" He hoped that this gesture would make up from earlier. He also desperately hoped that Acid wasn't in either of the extra bedrooms or the bathroom. |
(I sense Fluffy jumping on Hime when she walks into the house. :B )
Hime smiled a little at Benji, "That's a shame that she wasn't very nice. I hope our other room mates were a bit more pleasant.". She turned her head and looked at her stuff some more. She wondered if she should have left teh box of stuffed animals at home or the small table. Of course, she would have missed both of them so it was good that she brought them all along. Hime turned her head back to Benji and nodded. "Sounds great.", she said as she pulled the box of her makeup off the box of her clothes and sat it on the ground. She picked up her box of clothes and the bag full of her shoes and faced Benji again. "lets go?" |
( :ninja: )
"Here, I'll take the box", Benjamin stated, leaving Hime with the bag of shoes. He led the way into the apartment, looking around for any signs of Acid. Living room, clear. Kitchen, clear, minus the fridge and oven. Dining room, looks good. "We'll just drop these off and then I'll show you around more, not that there's really much more to see." As they passed his bedroom, he glanced inside. No demon. He didn't recall seeing it in there earlier either. Benjamin gritted his teeth as the options to where Acid could be dwindled. By now he was slightly hoping that the creature had gone out. But as they took the hallway down to the other bedrooms a blur was spotted. Fuck. It ran from the extra bathroom to one of the extra bedrooms. And she would want to see both before deciding which room to settle in. Benjamin had to make something up. Sure, she'd see it eventually, but right now? No. "So, the other bedroom is a bit of ... a mess. I kind of use it as my junk area for paintings and drawings and other shit. So for now, you'll have to settle for this room." Liar. Big fat liar. Benjamin stepped into the room Acid was not in and set the box down. He flicked the light on and had a look around. There. Sitting on the bed, innocent as ever, was Acid. "You little bastard." |
(LOL I love what he called the cute wittle tang....)
Hime smiled and put her other hand on the bag. "Thank you, benji.", she said smiling. She followed him around the house and looked around. It was a decent size apartment. Really clean, too. She couldn't wait to put some of her stuff around the house. It would be fun and she was sure benji wouldn't mind if she did. While she was walking down the hall, she saw a white blur dart around where the bedrooms are. She blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes. She figured it was just her eyes playing tricks on her. When they went into the room and saw the cute little bunny rabbit on the bed. She didn't even notice what Benji said to teh rabit. "Awww! you're so cuuuuute!", she said walking towards it. She picked it up and held it in her arms. "You're such a cute little fluffy wuffy thing!" |
Benjamin stifled another curse, but ran to her and pulled Acid from her arms.
"Hey! Uh... that's just a... a toy. A moving...uh, animated! Toy! It's just junk. Haha, forgot I left it in here!" He tried to play it off as best he could as he took backwards steps to the bedroom door and out into the hallway. "Let me juust--" He dashed to his bedroom. "Put this." He threw Acid into the room. "Away!" He slammed the door shut just in time to see Acid start glowing. He banged on the door a couple of times in a feeble attempt to keep Acid from morphing. Shit. How would Hime take it? She seemed to like him at least. But she didn't know what it was. Crap, crap. It was only a matter of time until she found out anyway. He scurried back to where he had left Hime in the extra bedroom. Maybe he could... "So... you want to look at the other bedroom? Hah..." Eugh... |
Hime was shocked and a little sad when benji took the cute fluffy out of her arms. Sh elooked at him and listened to him ramble and struggle to say what it was. Maybe he was embarrassed about her seeing his cute stuffed animal-thing? Well, sort of a stuffed animal thing. Apparently an animated one....
She watched him run out of the room to put it away and smiled a little. he was obviously hiding it because he was embarrassed. How cute! He liked stuffed animals. or at least, animated ones. Hime was going to have to show him her stuffed animal collection and see if he did like them. Maybe it would help them become friends or something. When Benji came back and smiled a little more and giggled. "Ya know...if you like cute stuffed animals, I couuuuuuld show you mine~ and maybe I'll let you play with them.", she said giggling a little more. "But yeah, I would totally let you see them if you're interested in them. So whats the cute wittle stuffed animals name? Oh! And yes, I would! I wouldn't mind." |
Benjamin was considerably confused when Hime started talking about stuffed animals. Upon remembering that she was probably referring to Acid as a stuffed animal, it made sense. Great, now she thought he was a sap.
"Oh hey, no no, I don't care about uh... stuffed animals. That one just had some special shit about it. I basically got it when I was young so you know how that goes. Hah..." He sighed and walked towards the other bedroom. The last room down the hallway, on the right to be exact. And what he said about it earlier wasn't a complete lie. He did, at one point, use it to keep his things. Unfinished paintings, drawings, stories, dreams... they were all there once. Probably better to fess up now. "So, I told a little lie earlier about this room", he said, walking in and flipping the switch. "It's actually fine." The light illuminated the room and it was true; the room was indeed just fine. It was smaller than the other room, but not by much. The walls seemed freshly painted, and inside was a small bed, nightstand, and a long dresser with a mirror on top. "Because this room is smaller than the other one, the bed is smaller too. A single instead of the double in the other room. But you can pick either one. Since I've only ever had just one other roomie, I did use it to keep some of my junk. But I figured it would look nicer this way. So yeah. Here you go!" |
"Ohh, ahaha. I see. Well, if you still ever do want to see them just ask.", Hime said smiling. She tilted her head to the side and followed Benji out into the hallway. She was surprised when she told him he had lied about the bedroom. She walked into it and looked around. it didn't look much smaller then the other one, but the paint on the walls was newer and it had some furniture in it.
The bed looked a little smaller, but it didn't matter. Hime was sort of short so the bed would be a fine size, if she did pick this room. Then, she started to wonder why he lied about the bedroom. Hime turned to Benji and tilted her head to she side once more. "Why did you lie about this room?" |
Crap. Benjamin had hoped she hadn't really noticed that lie part.
"Uh, no reason. Some times I just do." Yeeeah. That made sense. "Well, anyway, that's this bedroom. And you saw the other one. I have the master bedroom; so basically the bathroom across the hall is all yours." He stepped back out into the hallway and towards the bathroom. The light was already on, probably from when he cleaned it earlier. Or maybe Acid turned it on. He walked inside and looked around, admiring his job of cleaning of it. Not bad at all. Well, to be fair, his last room mate had done most of the cleaning. And he was a pretty organized guy to begin with; so it's not like it was ever chaotic. Benjamin's own bathroom was another story. Maybe not completely filthy, but definitely a mess. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, watched it speak. "So that's these three rooms. I'll leave you to get changed or whatever and bring in the rest of your stuff while you do that. I'm going to head out afterward to get some smokes. So you can do ... whatever." He remembered Acid. Damn, having a new room mate was a pain. "Actually, I'm bringing you along. You probably need to see the area around here anyway. Is that cool?" He leaned back from the mirror to look at Hime and see her response. |
"Do you do it when you're nervous or just sometimes?", Hime said giving him a bit of a worried look. She was worried that she was going to have a room mate that lied about everything. She didn't want that, it would make things...complicated.
She looked across the hall at that bathroom that was hers. She was happy about that, actually. She could decorate it some and make it all hers. She could put all kinds of mirrors, some paintings, perfumes, hair products, and some other things. She couldn't wait to decorate it. Along with the rest of the house. She couldn't do to much, but she would sneak around and put some things up to make the rooms more of what she liked. They would probably stick out, though. She would deal with that later. Hime followed Benji in the room and smiled. "I can't wait to put my stuff in here! I'll totally make it look pretty. You don't mind if I decorate it some, do you?", she said turning her head to Benji. She tilted her head back and thought for a moment. It would be nice to go around the city and see where everything was. She needed to since she was more then likely going to get lost if she wasn't told where stuff was. "Sure, sounds great to me." |
"Just... whenever." Benji sighed. "It's not like I really plan it out. It just happens. I'll go ahead and apologize in advance though. So.. I'm sorry okay?"
Benjamin didn't really want to get into the whole thing. He wasn't a complete liar really. He didn't lie for fun or to be spiteful. So keeping Acid a secret for now was a good lie. At least, he saw it that way. Some lies were just beneficial. He winced at Hime's mention of pretty decorations. "Uh, yeah sure, knock yourself out. Just as long as it doesn't smell like a fucking perfume shop in here." He waved his hand in the air as he walked out of the bathroom. "So, go do your thing and I'll..." His voice trailed off as he walked down the hallway. He wanted to look for something else to wear and check on Acid before they left so he went into his bedroom. "Where are all my clothes- oh right! The washer." He looked around for Acid. "Now where the hell is Acid?" He searched around the room, looking under the sheets, under the bed, in the drawers, and throughout the bathroom. But no luck. He then noticed that the window was open. "Ah crap." He stepped to the window and stuck his head out. The rain from earlier was nothing more than a hazy mist now. "Hmm. Guess he went out." Benjamin stared up into the sky for a moment(or where it would be if he could see it through the haze). And then shut the window. He closed the door behind him as he left his room and headed for the washer. After switching his wet clothes to the dryer, he finally made his way back outside into the main, but small, hallway to get the rest of Hime's things. He picked up a box with a grunt. "'Much less than half' she says. Sheesh." |
"Umm okay.", Hime said looking ot the side a little. She felt bad for prying at it a little. She smiled when she heard what Benji said she could decorate the place. "Incense isn't perfume...so I'll keep that request.", Hime said with a giggle. "it'll just smell incense-y sometimes.", she walked out into the hall and nodded at Benji. She quickly walked into her room and opened up her box. She pulled her car keys out of her pocket and used one of them to cut the tape so she could get into it.
Hime dug around in the box for a few moments before she pulled out a nice dress that she thought would be fine to drive around in. it was a liiittle short, but it wasn't a big deal. Hime folded the dress over her arm and opened up the shoes bag she had sitting next to the box. She pulled out a nice pair of black heels and then went to the bathroom across the hall. She closed and locked the door behind her so that she could change into her clothes. Afterward, Hime stripped out of her other dress and laid it on the counter. She quickly slipped into her other dress. She brushed off the bit of dust and hairs that were on the dressed and looked at herself in the mirror. She giggled and changed her shoes to her other pair of heels. She took all of her hair accessories off and searched the pocket of the dress she had taken off to find something. And after a few moments, she found it. She pulled out the two ribbons and put her hair up and pig tails. "Nice! and my make up is the same kind I would probably wear while wearing this, so its perfect.", she giggled and then put all of her clothes and accessories on her arm. She headed to her room again and sat the clothes on the bed. Hime went into the hallway. She tilted her head to the side, "Now where is Beni? Umm...Maybe he's int eh hall getting my stuff. I'll help him!". She quickly walked outside with a slight skip in her step, and looked at Benji. "Let me help, benji." |
Whatever Hime was saying, Benji didn't quite hear. He could hear her voice, but there was just something about it that he didn't want to listen to closely to... He tuned it out.
Benji had gotten half of Hime's things into the apartment by the time she joined him. Squatting down to pick up another box, he heard her footsteps as she approached. She appeared before him wearing a different outfit, still a dress and different shoes, still heels. He left the box on the ground and stood up. "What the hell? I thought you were going to change into something... more... not that... We're moving stuff here, not serving fucking coffee." He stared at her with a look of disbelief. "Ah, whatever, you brought all this other junk here in a frilly outfit; so just grab something and take it in." He bent back down and picked up the box, lifting it with his legs and bringing it inside. "Don't trip because I probably won't help you up." |
(I know why you said that. ;D I'm trying not to make her bend over and show her panties. XD Of course, Benji would probably glare at her and kick her butt with his foot as you said...>.>;; )
Hime listened to Benji and blinked a few times. "I wanted to change into something less frilly and long since we're moving boxes...Plus, its cooler and really pretty.", She said with a sigh. "I wear this kind of stuff a lot. I wear skirts, pretty tops, dresses, and rarely pants. I like it a lot. it's so pretty~", she made a happy face, then giggled. "So that's why I'm wearing this...". She went over to the boxes and nodded at Benji. "I wont trip as long as nothing is sticking up on the ground. Like a cat or something.", she said picking up her night stand. She walked inside and walked as quickly as she could so she could get it to her room. She went into the first bedroom Benji had shown her, then sat the night stand next to the bed. Hime sighed and then made her way to the hallway. 'I wonder how I'm going to decorate my room..and what I'll add to the house. Nothing to girly in the living room and everything since I doubt Benji is a guy and would probably be pissed...I'll only put ONE...or two, stuffed animals in here. Like on the bookshelf or something. Hopefully there'll be room. Oh! And I'll put up that cute owl clock my mom gave me for Christmas last year! That would look so cute!', While Hime was lost in her thoughts, she walked right into the wall next to the door way. She really needed to stop loosing herself in her thoughts. "I'm okay!", she said in a low tone of voice. She rubbed her forehead and then walked out to the hall. She stacked a few small, light boxes on a somewhat heavy box and then picked it up. The slid to the side a little, but Hime tipped over to the right so they'd slide back and not fall. |
(Pfft. I was just trying to add more. :P )
Benji set the box down outside Hime's chosen bedroom. "Well, you might want to invest in some pants or shorts or something." He turned and headed back towards the door but heard a thud and then Hime saying she was okay. "And maybe some kind of protective gear." He chuckled once then headed back out. Thirty minutes passed and finally everything of Hime's was in the apartment. Boxes and bags of varying size were strewn about the place. Benji kicked at a few empty boxes sitting in front of his bedroom door, then picked them up and a began to break them down. He went through the apartment and gathered all the rest of the empty boxes, flattening them and forming a pile in the middle of the living room. "Hmm. I think we have a recycling thing downstairs... for cardboard." He spoke out loud but more to himself than to anyone else. He stood staring at the boxes and then noticed how muggy it felt in the apartment. "Ugh, I need a shower now." He walked over to the balcony door and shut it. Instantly the apartment was quiet, lacking the noise from the city below. He switched on the television in the living room and left it on a random channel, just to keep the silence away. He checked the clock on the microwave. 9:14. It was barely dark outside, the sun having just set. By the time they left though, no sunlight would be left in the sky. He yelled out, "Hey Hime, I'm gonna go take a quick shower before we head out." |
(riiiight. ;D and there's a tub in Hime's bathroom, right?)
Hime rolled her eyes about the protective gear part. She sighed and went inside, "Pants or shorts, maybe. Protective gear, no.". She stacked her boxes on the others when she made it to her room. The minutes seemed to past by quickly. At least it did to Hime anyway. She started to rip open boxes and pull things out of them, not paying attention to where she pushed the boxes, bags, and wrapping supplies. She would worry about that later. Right now she just wanted to get her stuff out and start putting it in the right places. Hime took her stuff with her clothes, shoes, and purses to the closet and started putting the clothing and purses on hangers. She put the shoes, that were in their boxes, and stacked them in neat rows and piles. She closed the door of the closet and then heard what Benji said about him taking a shower. "All right.", she yelled back. She headed to the bathroom and started putting the stuff she kept in bathrooms in the cabinets, mirror cabinet thing, and bins. She had placed the bins in several different places. One on the toilet, and two on the sink. She kept her face wash, brushes, hair stuff, ect. In one, and in the other she kept her make-up bag in. She pulled out a rug from the box that held all her bathroom stuff in and rolled it on the floor. She giggled and then left the bathroom, closing the door behind her. She ran back into her bedroom and looked around. She still had a lot more to do. She had a book shelf in there, so she would have to put her books, manga, movies, and magazines in there. God, moving was a pain. Having to move your stuff in different rooms and placing it where it should be again...bleh. Hime sighed and started looking for one of the boxes that had her books and movies in them. |
(Yup.)
Benjamin closed his bedroom door behind him. He looked about the room, turning on a small yellow lamp instead of the light on the ceiling fan. He walked over to the window and opened it. The humidity and city musk rolled in. "At least the sun's pretty much set so it won't get too hot. Maybe Acid will come back before we leave; so I won't have to wonder where the heck he is too. Ugh." He walked back to the bedroom door and locked it, then stepped into the bathroom. He flipped the light on which partially lit the bathroom since two of the four bulbs were blown and left the door open. He lazily undressed and threw his clothes into a small pile on the floor. After setting the water how he liked it, he stepped in and got to business. He spent 15 minutes standing in the water letting his mind wander, and roughly 2 minutes actually washing. Once the water started running cold he decided it was probably time to get out. He opened the curtain and grabbed the towel hanging nearby, which probably also needed washing, and stepped onto the rug in front of the sink. He quickly dried off, checked himself in the mirror, and then walked back out into his bedroom, rubbing his hair with the towel. He was relieved when he saw Acid laying curled up on one of his pillows peacefully sleeping. He grinned and wrapped the towel around his waist, then walked to the window and shut it. He looked around and noticed how clean it looked and felt surprisingly satisfied. Until he realized all of his clean clothes were in the dryer. And the dryer was not in his bedroom. |
