(HIME'S GONNA SEE A NAKED BENJI!)

Hime was setting books on the shelves of her book case. Not very neatly, at that. She just wanted to shove them on there and then organize them later. Once she emptied the box, Hime started to break the box down. She pushed it to the side and then got up. She sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. "So much crap...I hope Benji'll be done in a few more minutes..I honestly want to take a break and see what's in this town.", she said with a sigh.

She spun around in her heel and then went out of her room, closing the door behind her. She felt hungry, so she was going to rummage through the refrigerator. She slipped into the kitchen and then started to rummage through the cabinets. She stood on her tip toes to reach up and see what was on top. Nothing. Well, there was food but nothing she wanted at the moment. Hime sighed and closed the cabinets. Now she would go to the refrigerator. If there was nothing there, she'd just get something to drink and then get something while they were out.

She swung open the door and bent over. She found some soda, or something of the sort. There was other stuff in there, but nothing of interest. She pushed some stuff out of the way and continued to read labels and see what was in here.

(Pffft, don't get all excited!)

Benjamin battled in his head a bit about what he should do. Not only was this a new roommate, it was a girl! What a pain in the ass. He double checked his bed and drawers to make sure there wasn't something he could wear, but found nothing. He even thought about putting his dirty clothes back on, but they were filthy. Once he decided that he was out of any other options, he took a deep breath, made sure his towel was tightly wrapped around his waist (but kept a grip on it anyway), and opened his door.

He poked his head out and looked around. He could see that the fridge was open and could hear the clanging of things being moved around. He cocked an eyebrow up and tip-toed over. He saw Stella bent over, butt in the air, face in the fridge. He picked up the pace, passing her to get to the laundry room, but not before speaking.

"What's with the ass antics? Can't you squat like a normal person?"

He just about ran to the laundry room after those words spilled from his mouth. He was never more grateful than now that the laundry room was an actual room much like a walk-in closet and had a working door with lock. He quickly shut the door behind him, locked it, breathed a sigh of relief, and let the towel fall.

(You know I will if it means Hime's gonna see nakedness and faint. ;D )

When Hime found a can with some sort of liquid in it, she heard Benji's comment. She just rolled her eyes and squatted just to shut him up...and just in case he wanted to stare. She turned her head to see if he was still there, but he had ran off somewhere. She sighed and then opened the can. She took a sip and then sat it on the counter. She stood up and closed the refrigerator. 'I'll get something while we're out. Doubt Benji'll mind.'.

Grabbing her soda, she headed to her room. Once there, she stared at everything inside, thinking about how she could find something to do that would help her procrastinate some more. 'Should...I bug Benji? Nah, we just met, I want to get to know him before I start bugging him. So...', Hime sighed once again and took another step into her room. She looked at the pile of flattened boxes then nudged it under her bed with her foot. "Wow! that was exhausting! I think I'll go in the living room now and wait for Benji!", she said snickering.

She went down to the living room and sat on the couch. 'I'll just take a little drink after all that work! I deserve it!'. She started to laugh a little, nearly chocking but managed not to.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-11-2011 01:55 AM

Benjamin rifled through the clothes in the dryer, picking out a faded pair of blue jeans and an old t-shirt with a worn logo on it. He slipped them on and ran his hands down his shirt, hitting any lint off. He grabbed a pair of socks from dryer and slipped those on as well then checked himself in the full-length mirror left by one of his former roommates. He gave himself a little nod and shrugged. "Ehh, at least they're clean."

He stepped into the hallway and saw Hime sitting on the couch.
"I'm just going to grab my stuff and then we'll head out. Oh. Bring any boxes you want to also. For recycling."

He slipped into his room, grabbed his phone and wallet, slipped on his sneakers, and headed back towards the bedroom door before pausing to look at Acid. Acid was still curled up on one of the pillows, but his head was up and he was staring at Benji. "I'm going to go out okay? Gonna show the new roomie around and get some things. She doesn't know about you; so you're going to have to stay in here until then." Acid sat his head down. "I'll tell her, don't worry. It's just a matter of time... You... want me to buy you those little hot sausages you like?" Acid's head rose back up and his tail wagged. "Alright. I'll get some. Just be good okay? Otherwise, I'll eat them." Acid shook his head at the last statement then settled back down to rest on the pillow.

(sorry its short, couldn't think of much. D; )

Hime nodded and got up. She threw her empty soda can in the trash and then quickly went to her room to grab her purse from her bed. Once she retrieved it, she headed out to the living room and waited for Benji. Hime couldn't wait to see what was in this city. if there was a big mall that sold her favorite brand of clothing, she'd instantly love it. She looked around teh room, and again he mind instantly started to think about what kind of stuff she could put around in here to make it feel more 'homey' to her.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-11-2011 04:26 PM

(It's okay! :D I was trying not to write an essay. Trying to find a place to stop to give you a chance to write something. xD
... But then I wrote this.. )

Benjamin walked over to the pile of flattened cardboard boxes on the floor. "Here, grab some of these so we can take them down." He checked the clock again. "9:46... Yeah, I don't think they close."

Once they had the boxes gathered and safely tucked into the elevator, Benjamin locked his apartment and they stepped into the elevator and headed towards the ground floor. Benji hoped that no one would be heading down at this time of night. Thankfully, the rest of the inhabitants of the complex felt the same way and they made it to the ground floor with no stops.

The atrium of the ground floor was simple but impressive, just enough glass and metal to make it look nice, but not enough to make it look snooty. Benji always felt a bit out of place walking through it; so he avoided it when he could, taking one of the side doors to get outside instead of walking through it. The spot where they had to take the boxes, however, was a room inside the atrium. After fumbling around, a few falls, a little insults, and a lot of smirks, they made it to the room housing the trash. The haul made Benjamin wonder just how Hime had made it all the way to his apartment and also made him feel a little guilty for not helping getting things up there. Oh well.
Aside from the wall facing the atrium being made of plexiglass, it was just a plain white room. It was the size of two conference rooms and had big plastic wheeled bins of different colors for indicating what kind of trash went where and two slots on the wall where burnable and otherwise stinky trash would go to dumpsters outside. Cardboard went into the brown bin and they tossed it in with only a little effort.

Benjamin dusted his clothes off. "So, was there anywhere specific you wanted to go?"

momochan 10-21-2011 02:13 AM

(lmao. I don't mind. I'll figure something out. ;D I'm tempted to make hime go "OH! I SEE A SQUIRREELLLL! -chases it-". )

Hime nodded at Benji and picked up some of the boxes. She followed Benji to the elevator and stacked them inside. She leaned on the railing and waited for Benji. She gripped the railing and waited for it to go down to the bottom floor. Once they reached the floor, she picked up some of the boxes out of the pile. She walked out of the elevator. She took a good look around the building since she didn't really get a good look earlier when she was dragging all her stuff to their apartment. "Wow. it looks nice here.", Hime said, turning her head to Benji.

She followed Benji and made sure to remember the location of the trash room. She went over the steps a few times just to make sure she'd remember it whenever she would need to take the trash out. She glanced around the place again, seeing how clean everything was. It made her glad this place wasn't a total dump. It would be a pain dragging any skits and walking through a place that was very dirty in heels. Although, she would have to take Benji's advice and get some...pants.

Once they made it into the trash/recycling room, she put the cardboard boxes where Benji put them and then looked at all the other bins. She would have to figure out what went int hem later. When she heard Benji's question, Hime smiled and turned to him. "I'm in the mood for something sweet. Think you'd be able to show me where a cafe is?", she said smiling.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-26-2011 11:30 PM

"A cafe huh? I can show you where one is, but I'm sure it's closed by now. I think they're closed by 5. The convenience store nearby might have something sweet though."

They walked into the muggy city street. It wasn't very crowded or noisy, especially for their area. A few people were walking around, mostly men in suits, no doubt returning home from another long day of grueling work. Benjamin didn't envy them. Not anymore. He was done changing, done trying to accommodate. His parents were finally getting used to it and that was a huge weight off his conscience. The honking of a car nearby broke his thoughts and he returned to the present. They were standing at an intersection, the red hand keeping them from crossing had been replaced by a walking man with a timer. They hurried across.

The convenience store was indeed nearby, a short two blocks away. It was a considerable size, taking up the entire corner of the block. The air inside was cold and dry, vastly different from the air outside and Benjamin found himself rubbing his arms. "Maybe I'll get some beer too."

momochan 11-13-2011 05:33 PM

(</3 I'm sorry I took so long. ilu iku~ /kiss up)

"That's fine. As long as I can get a few things to eat and such~ It'd be nice to see where some things are in the city.", Hime said smiling. She walked with Benji through the City, looking around and seeing what kind of stores they had around the apartment. This place was so quite for a city...Everyone must have gone home. At least there wasn't people shoving her around and trying to go places. Hime was kind of glad that she had changed her dress. It was a bit muggy out and her other dress would have made it a little miserable. It would be kind of weird getting used to the city since Hime was used to being in the quite suburbs. Hopefully it wouldn't be to difficult.

Once she had crossed they had crossed the street and went inside the building, Hime started to look around. "Okay, I'll be taking a look around. Maybe they'll have some cheese cake...", she waved to Benji and started to head into the different aisles. The prices seemed pretty decent for most of the stuff, but some of it seemed a bit over priced. Oh well, she could afford it if she needed any of it.

(5 years later, I reply~ 8D )

It didn't take long for Benji to find and purchase his items: an egg salad sandwich, a case of cheap beer, a pack of cigarettes, and a pack of hot sausages for Acid. He pondered a bit at the last item as he walked back outside to wait. Treats for a pet. Heh. He wasn't very into pets growing up, but here he was now, a demon for a pet. How Acid came to be in his possession was so stupidly unbelievable that with each passing day it only became more of a blur.
Benjamin struggled to hold on to the reality of that day, scared that if he didn't he'd lose his sanity, he'd forget where Acid came from and why. This is why it was both dangerous and important that he had a roommate. They would help anchor the reality of Acid, but they would have to be strong enough or he risked them losing just a bit of themselves.

He shook his head slightly, coming back to the present once again. Gah, need to stop daydreaming. He leaned against the stone wall of the building and sighed, then rifled through the plastic bag holding his purchases. Sandwich, where are you? For the moment, however, he'd be satisfied finding his sanity in a sandwich.

(w83483483483 years later, I reply! It's been so long, w is a number now! 8D;; )

Hime had filled up her basket with a bunch of goodies and a few useless gadgets she really didn't need. They were those cheap ones that you'd see on infomercials. The ones that broke after two, maybe six uses, at most. They were really shiny and on sale, so she decided to get them. The other stuff in her basket was two six packs of her favorite soda, cheese cake, mini pies, a few bags of butter scotch, a small box of tampons, and a bunch of candy bars. After she paid for her goods and had them bagged, she skipped outside and smiled at Benji. "I'm all done!", she said holding up her bags. "Ready to go?"

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 03-18-2012 03:55 AM

Benjamin stuck the wrapper from the sandwich back into the grocery bag and looked at Hime with that unbelieving look he felt he would be getting used to soon. "Yeah... but you know we're going other places right? You going to be okay carrying all that?" He felt a little surprised at himself for asking if she would be okay. But he felt it was more of a question to see her answer and realize the mistake she had made than a genuine question of concern. "The cafe isn't too far from here; about 3 more blocks. If you're carrying all that, no complaining."

momochan 03-18-2012 04:13 AM

Hime looked down at her bags then back at Benji. She had totally forgotten that they were going to a cafe. She had gotten to excited and forgot about it all when she saw all the sweets in the store. She knew it wouldn't have been to big of a deal to carry them around, though. They were rather light. She giggled and smiled at Benji. "Yeah, I probably shouldn't have gotten this much stuff. But, if I can carry around my makeup bags and not break a sweat, then carrying around a few bags of food will be no biggie~ So don't worry about me! Now, lets go to that cafe!", she said.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 03-22-2012 03:28 AM

Benjamin couldn't help but chuckle a bit. That was true. She did carry all that stuff up to the apartment. How long was she doing that...
"Right. This way." He nudged his head in the direction they were heading; further down the road, opposite the way of the apartment. Along the way, he lit up a cigarette, burning it down before they reached the cafe. It didn't seem as far a walk somehow. Not that a measly three blocks was much of a distance anyway. Not when you basically walk everywhere to begin with. He wondered for a moment whether it was the cigarette or the company. Company of a cigarette. At least by now the air had cooled and there were soft breezes blowing past them.

"So, here's your cafe. As you can tell, it's pretty well established. Busy place in the morning, I assume." Because of its size, the cafe seemed much more than a cafe. And that was mostly true. It started out as a small cafe, but as business got better, more orders came in, more people were needed and then more space. It now stood three floors tall, also taking up the corner in a similar fashion to the convenience store.
"Surprisingly, this place sells crafts and other art things from local people. I think it's a nice thing to do, especially given how much they've grown."

momochan 03-22-2012 03:58 AM

During the walk Hime just swung her arms back and forth while she hummed her favorite tune. When they arrived at the cafe and big smile appeared on her face. It was huge for a cafe. Though, since she used to living in the more country part of the city, Hime wasn't quite used to seeing huge buildings. She was more used to seeing buildings with maybe two or three stories, but not ones with 7 or 9. It was exciting to be somewhere new. She was surprised yet excited to hear the cafe even sold art and craft supplies. 'I hope they might have a little fabric or yarn! I know they should have ribbons, but if they have fabric, I could make some thing sot go with my clothes! Or even better, make some clothes! I bet they don't really have that much, though. We'll have to see~", she thought.

"It looks like a very nice place! I'll have to check it out later and see what kind of stuff they have in stock.", she said.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-12-2012 07:06 PM

After their stop by the cafe, Benjamin decided it was time for a little break.

"Conveniently, there's a park nearby I figure I should show you as well. Pretty smart of them to have the cafe right across from the park. Course, you have to carefully cross the street with your cup of hot coffee!" He pretended to have a cup of coffee in his hand as he looked both ways before hurrying across the street, walking in a fashion similar to, but not quite the same as, those with sticks up their asses.

"My businessman impression." He inhaled the air sharply. "Impressive, yes it is."

The park was fairly large in size, though compared with other parks within the city, definitely not the largest. There were various paths leading off into differing parts of the park, as well as specific paths for cyclists, a gated section for those with dogs, little areas for children to play in, and of course, the simple park benches that lined a few paths. Being the time it was now, it was no surprise that the park was mostly empty.
Benjamin found a bench with the least amount of moisture left on it from the rain and plopped down, setting his bag of goods on the ground. He figured this was as good a time as any to try and get to know his new roommate.

"So, you seem pretty well off, why are you staying with a person you hardly know? My bad if somewhere along the way, this topic was already brought up."

momochan 04-13-2012 01:56 AM

Hime laughed at Benji's impression as she ran after him. "Yes. It's simply amazing~!", she said rolling her eyes. "Really is good, though.". Hime walked through the park, looking around as she walked along side of Benji. It really was a beautiful park. She could liked it better now that it was night time. There wasn't a million people in the park and a lot of noise. Very peaceful. She sat down at the bench with Benji and sat her bags down next to her feet. She crossed her legs then leaned back.

She looked at Benji then thought about his question. "Well...I thought it'd be nice to move out my mom mom's house and I wanted to see if maybe I'd have more opportunities out here in the city. I thought maybe it'd be nice to open up a store of my own. Or maybe find a place here where I could make clothes and stuff. I like designing clothes and hand bags. And I move into your apartment because it's easier for me to pay half the rent instead of a huge rent bill only I had to pay for. I also thought I'd get lonely if I lived alone. I also got to meet someone new!", she said smiling

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-13-2012 04:15 AM

Benjamin stared at her smiling and couldn't help but a crack a little smile himself. It was strange being around someone so different from himself, but also a little refreshing.

"Ha! Yeah, I guess you do, huh? If I could help it, I'd live alone. Even if it was a house instead of an apartment! But I guess that's just another one of our many differences." He lit a cigarette and inhaled, noting the irony of smoking in a park.
"Pretty cool that you want to be a fashion designer though. That's definitely a big aspiration."

At that moment, he noticed a man jogging towards them. Though he could have just been jogging in that direction for all he knew, paths and all. But it was confirmed that the man was indeed heading towards them and not just that direction when he halted in front of them.

"Hey Benjamin! Long time, no contact." He flung his arms up into the air and took deep breaths as he stretched from side to side.
For the most part he was wearing typical jogging attire; nice running shoes, shorts that were comfortable and wouldn't ride up while jogging, even a special watch to keep track of his heart rate, but ah, he was missing a shirt.

Benjamin sighed slighty before replying. "Heeey ... what's your name again?"

"Haha! Still got that snark to ya, I see. Very nice. Think ... eggs."

"Eggs? What the fu- Oooh! Eggs! Henry the Eggman, right?"

"The one and only! Though I will say that that particular nickname has not progressed any further from you, thank goodness."

"Mm. A real pity, I think."

"Yeah well. Luckily the world is greater than just you." He chuckled then took notice of Hime. "Oh! Crap! I'm sorry. Didn't mean to ignore ya there. As taken from our little back and forth, I'm Henry; one of Benji's former roommates." He smiled widely at Hime and extended his hand for a shake. "Uh, no offense taken if you'd rather not. Sweat and all that. I get it."
