Personality: Just like the summer he can be scolding and forceful. He lives to play and enjoys the light hearted things and simple pleasures of life and love. He's flirtatious and often is surrounded by many Summer Girls (Summer Fae who refused to take the Summer Queen Test), he hates being alone and has a strong temper when things don't go his way. He can act childish or become serious at the flip of a coin.

Name: Lilline (Lilly for short)
Age: 17
Race: Human
Personality: She wears her emotions on her sleeve. She tends to be moody and for some reason when she cries, the sky does too, when she's angry, the winds are too, etc... But it's something she's never really noticed. She is flirtacious and has a sassy sort of attitude if her mood calls for it. She can be a jealous hot head but she can also be sweet as candy, it just depends on which mood you catch her in.

Davin sighed as he sat in his favourite cafe drinking a coffee as he thought. He was getting restless. It had been 5 years since he found another girl for the test. The Fae in his court were starting to get worried. Summer Fae weren't made to worry. He needed to find another girl, one who would pass. He needed his Queen. His court needed it. As he finished his drink he stood stalking outside in to the sun. It was a lot colder that it should be this late in May. Most humans were blaming a late winter. The Faerie knew better though, knowing the lack of heat was because of the failing power of the Summer Court and Davin's lack of a Queen to earn him the title of King. He scowled angrily looking at the sun.

Lillie was in a hurry, speed walking towards a cafe that she was meeting a friend at. She was wearing a cream colored over the shoulder sweater, her hair braided loosely back, and a pair of tight fitting jeans with brown winter boots as it was chillier than normal. Lillie was really late having never been to that cafe before and had gotten lost. She was mumbling something about hoping her friend was still there as she rushed around the corner knocking into a man who was standing just outside the cafe. "Ow!" She exclaimed as she frowned up at him, "Watch where you're going!" she said, half rudely, as she reached up to rub her head.

Blair blinked looking down after having just been assaulted by a running mortal. He snorted, "Tch speak for yourself I wasn't the one who was running into a doorway....I was just standing." He said as he looked at the girl thoughtfully. Then he felt it the familiar feeling. She was the next one. The next girl to take the test. Instantly he bowed his head, "But your right I'm truly sorry! I shouldn't have been standing in the way...the door is no place to think after all. I'm so clumsy...please let me make it up to you..." He said with a winning smile.

When the man offered to make it up to her she frowned at him again, "I'm meeting someone here-" Lilly looked past him into the cafe, her friend was no where to be seen. "-oh no! She's gone already!" she said dramatically. Looking back at the man in front of her she sighed. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything if I let you make it up to me. It was your fault after all."

Blair smiled softly looking at her, "That's right..and I'm truely sorry about it..." He said as he opened the door for her gracefully, acting like a perfect gentleman. He played the part well. It was something that always won over the ladies. "What is your name by the way?" He asked gently looking at her thoughtfully. He needed to get to know her as best her could so he could make her fall for him. It was the only way he could convince them to take the test.

Lilly blinked owlishy at the man for a moment studying him. For the first time she noticed his appearance. He was strikingly handsome. When he smiled at her she blushed a little forgetting what she had been upset about in the first place. Stepping inside the cafe when he opened the door she replied, "I'm Lilline, my friends mostly call me Lilly" she said with a smile. She walked down the side of the cafe picking a booth on the window before setting her bag down and sliding in. She never sat anywhere but near a window and in a comfy booth. Some would say she was picky, others spoiled or demanding, she didn't care what people called her though, she always got what she wanted. She rested her chin in her hands, elbows on the table as she waited for him to sit and introduce his self.

Davin grinned when she looked at him. He was glad that she found him attractive. It would make seducing her so much easier than if she didn't. Then again he could always change his human appearance to something she enjoyed more. It was a game he always one…except for that one time. "Lilly that's a pretty name, my name is Davin…nice to meet you…"

When the waitress appeared Lilly ordered a coffee with cream and sugar. Looking at Davin she commented, "I usually don't need to drink coffee this time of year, I only drink it when it's cold outside. But, it's cold outside now... That's so strange don't you think?" She pushed back a strand of hair that had fallen over her eye as she looked up at him.

Davin told the waitress he didn't want anything and that the bill was to be put on his tab. He frowned sadly his face become sullen at her words, "Yes...it's unnatural...it's not right..." He said sourly looking down. "I remember when the sun was warm and winters were short..." He said softly, "Seems hard to believe now doesn't it..." He asked Lilly looking at her.

"I don't know," Lilly replied, "Nothing really seems too hard to believe now days. But I do love summer, I wish this cold would hurry and go away..." She was studying him now as he appeared saddened by the cold. When the waitress returned with her coffee she thanked her and picked it up with both hands, pulling it to her lips and sipping at it slowly as to not burn herself. Her big deep blue eyes stared over the cup at Davin curiously. Something about him seemed so different from most of the people she knew, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what...

"I agree..." He said softly, "If this continues...the earth will die..." He said thoughtfully, his expression becoming stormy as he looked down at his hands. He felt powerless and weak. He felt a bit of summer warmth heating up inside of him. Some part of him desperate to heat the earth though he didn't have the strength to.

Lilly could tell the boy was seriously bothered by something. Setting her coffee down she slid out of her side of the booth and scooted into his side smiling up at him reassuringly. "Don't worry, I don't think the Earth will die Davin." She was half facing him now looking deep into his eyes trying to figure him out. What was it about him that drew her to him? It was almost unstoppable, and she'd never been so drawn to someone like she was him, it drove her crazy wanting to know more about this mysterious boy.

Davin paused looking at her blinking, "Yeah....yes...I hope I doesn't...I have a feeling it won't," He said softly as he looked at her. None of the other girls had ever really noticed the Earth freezing. He smiled happily at her, "How old are you Lilly?" He asked tiling his head a bit causing a silver lock of hair to fall into his eyes. It was a routine question for him to ask.

"Uh..." the random question caught her off guard. "I'm 17. I'll be eighteen in a couple of months" she said smiling. "What does that matter?" she asked, reaching across the table to pull her coffee in front of her.

"Just wondering if we were the same age…" Davin said. Of course they really weren't. Davin was much older than Lilly, much older than all humans really. He smiled though reassuring her, "I'm turning 18 soon too…" he said smiling at her as if to be glad they had something in common.

Lilly's face brightened when he smiled at her. She'd missed her coffee date with her friend, but it seemed now that her luck was changing, as she was sitting here with a cute boy her own age being treated to a cup of coffee. She wondered if she was being a bother to him though and if she should leave. Maybe sitting next to him had been a bad idea, maybe she was invading his personal space. Her cheeks reddened a little when she realized how close she'd sat to him. "Uh, sorry..." she said as she scooted away, "sometimes I get too close to people. I find it comforting but my mom says people don't really like it."

Davin smiled blazingly at her, "Why would I mind? People who have trouble getting close to others are weak...self-centered, or scared..." He said smiling at Lilly. Davin wouldn't know what someone's bubble space was if it made a popping sound when he broke it. The closer he was to others though the warmer they would be. While not at his full power Davin could still produce large amounts of heat radiating off of his body.

Davin certainly had a smile that could melt a girl. Lilly blushed as he spoke of being close to people and the sudden feel of warmth that emminated from him. She looked down at her watch and her eyes got wide, "Oh no I'm late again!" Lilly quickliy slid from the booth, "I'm sorry Davin I have to go! I graduate next week and I'm missing rehersal!" She quickly grabbed her bag and thanked him for the coffee and rushed towards the door. Her classmates were going to kill her!

Davin sighed but nodded, "Well then don't let me hold you up Lilly...I shall see you around sometime then..." He said watching her get up to go. He felt the urge to glimmer himself invisible and follow after her. He frowned pausing. No, it was too soon in this chase to follow her. He had to be careful, he had to let her get away a bit before chasing. Playing hard to get seemed to always work. Davin grinned relaxing in his idea as he set off again heading to the park nearby.

Lilly had almost missed the rehearsal entirely by the time she got there. Participating in the last few minutes of it, she gathered her things as her friends poked fun at her for always being so tardy. She laughed, knowing it was true as she headed out the door to go home. She was walking slowly, thinking about the boy she'd literally run into earlier. He was awfully handsome, and a little mysterious. Lilly wondered if she would see him again as she was passing by the park. The wind picked up sending a gust of cold air over her that made her reach up to grab herself and shiver.

Davin shivered as he felt the crisp wind hit him. The fact that the cold could hit him meant it had to be Beira, the Winter Court Queen, and Davin's mother. It was as she was mocking him and the entire Summer Court. He groaned in anger heat flaring in him, as another idea hit him. She couldn't know about Lilly, could she? Not even she was that good. That worried him. If Beira got to her this early what would happen? He shook in horror thinking the worst. He looked up sensing a motion. Seeing who it was he sighed in relief, "Lilly..." he called out softly looking at her happy to see she was okay, if not a bit cold.

Did someone just call my name? Lilly wondered. She turned towards the voice to see Davin. "I'm glad to see you again!" she exclaimed as he moved towards her. Her phone vibrated. Picking it up she motioned to Davin to hold on a moment.

She was listening to someone speaking on the other end as her face dropped. Lilly looked devastated about something. Tears filled her eyes as a dark cloud moved overhead, the wind picking up. She hung up the phone as she looked to Davin. "My dog died this afternoon," she said. As the first tear fell from her eye, the first raindrop fell. Lilly put her hands up over her face and began to cry, the sky crying with her.

Davin without thinking pulled her into a hug. He hatted sadness and loathed to see people cry, girls most of all, especially ones the was Seeking. "I grieve for your loss..." He said looking at her then the sky. His face filled with confusion. "The rain..." He said softly thinking. It had started when she cried. Maybe just a trick or a coincidence...but maybe not. Davin looked at her thoughtfully.
