My quest is pretty much in sit and wait mode. The ones I want are rarely available. So I find I spend most of my time sitting and waiting like the little ambush predator I am. I'll probably try and enter a few contests here and there to get more items to sell for gold or if the items are good enough try and make a trade.
I could be unrealistic and say I would like to get a pure love boa by this V-day. . .but yeah not going to happen. I hope for maybe around April to make my next big purchase. I'm hoping for either the boa or Green clover Hairpin. Even if I can't afford to buy it seeing one available would perk me up. I just kinda keep my ears to the ground. |
are they that expensive that you wouldn't have enough goldies? i've seen your art, if i were you i would bribe them with artsu~! oh, and please check out our valentine's day event thread. Vickyll3 is going to have another avatar contest and Nuruhanj is going to have several art contests. you are very talented in both of these catagories. |

It's hard to say if they're that expensive or not because no one is selling them. So I just end up saving and saving for one (so do other people) I've done art auctions in the past and they are REALLY varied with how much they fetch. I've gotten anywhere from 1K to a Valentines Hairpin. Though I suppose I should think about having one sometime soon.
Thanks Anglie, but I want I want the satisfaction of finally getting one before making an actually avatar for it. For now the DAC is sufficient enough. |
it would be nice if we could see how many of an item are in circulation on menewsha. i don't know if that would be possible. i have wondered how many chicken in a chokehold's there were in exsistance. this is borrowed from a friend. i didn't even know she owned one! and i have never even seen it on an avi until i asked one member to put it on so i could admire it. and then today i saw jellysundae with one on her avi. so i know of three in the whole of menewsha. |

That could be both good and bad. Like if it shows some more recent items aren't as many floating around as older ones.

hummy is selling the february contribution item, movie classic nights. but Ivvy usually buys from ObviouslyAya, because she can sell them cheaper than hummy can. hummy would love to let your ghostie here copy of the february contribution item. *sends it over in a trade* just play with it until you find what you like and then put the item on. then you can send it back in a trade, the item will still appear on you avatar. |

the only reason I remembered today was because last night I saw a post about it in another thread and then when I logged in and saw the thread I was like 'oh yeah double gold day' other than that I usually forget, just hasn't clicked in my mind that when CIs come out it means double gold day xD |
Ha, same here. I tend not to pay attention to my gold count too much unless I'm saving for something though.
