Alexander J Luthor 07-08-2014 04:02 PM

I don't know why I never took advantage of this when I had the whole weekend off.

hummy 07-08-2014 04:08 PM

don't feel alone aj I kind of blew the weekend doublebubblegoldies, too.

onsenmark 07-08-2014 06:48 PM

Indeed, although I totally missed it. [sweat]

jellysundae 07-08-2014 07:15 PM

Actually, I was working; between the 4th of July, and Hurricane/Tropical Storm Arthur, my store was busy; I technically haven't had a day off since last Sunday. [gonk]

So, if work calls today, I'm going to say "NOPE", and not regret it. I need to rest somewhat.

jellysundae 07-08-2014 08:07 PM

Aw, but...overtime/double time, right? :D So not all bad?

What does your store sell, nice or boring stuff?

onsenmark 07-10-2014 05:27 AM

I wish. I'm just a part-time grocery store wage-slave, but at least I make enough to help out.

hummy 07-18-2014 01:16 PM

I think I'm gonna miss most of doublebubblebonusgoldiedays

The Wandering Poet 07-18-2014 06:04 PM

Why's that?

hummy 07-18-2014 08:32 PM

I have some appointments

The Wandering Poet 07-18-2014 09:08 PM

Aww... appointments suck

hummy 07-19-2014 12:01 PM

Especially this one

The Wandering Poet 07-19-2014 07:31 PM

Blood draw I take it?

jellysundae 07-19-2014 08:14 PM

Hummy [hug]

hummy 07-20-2014 02:00 AM

blood work was thursday and my phlebotomist was excellent! he didn't even touch me with anything but the needle! i didn't even know he had started until he changed tubes =3 he had noticed all the bruises and needle marks on my right arm so he was extra gentle and used the smallest needle possible. i will wait for him as long as it takes from now on.
friday was my eye surgeon appointment and i slept all day long afterwards. [twitch]

jelly[hug]hope you are doing well<3

The Wandering Poet 07-20-2014 02:14 AM

wow a needle guy who knows what he's doing? tell.me his secrets!

jellysundae 07-20-2014 02:15 AM

He sounds awesome! So far I've bruise like a bugger from the canula each month, I have super shy veins and it's a miracle if they find one first time, they've only managed that once so far, last week. But I got the worst bruising so far too, so go figure! lol. I'm glad for cooler days if I go outside, so I can wear something that covers them up and I don't look like an abuse victim. The sleep your body's reaction to stress, maybe? That just an appointment to talk or treatment?

hummy 07-20-2014 02:17 AM

he said he saw my vein and used the smallest needle. i didn't even feel the prick. i was shocked. he asked when i had blood drawn last, meaning my right arm and i said it was a week ago. he said just ask for me next time, that's just wrong what was done to you. it took almost an hour to get seven tubes taken. she keep smacking me and sticking me and collapsing my vein, it was horrible. i would have sobbed if i was alone in the room but there were like ten people in that room.

The Wandering Poet 07-20-2014 02:21 AM

My god is that nurse a barbarian?
That does not sound like professional blood drawing at all

jellysundae 07-20-2014 02:24 AM

Fabulous that you've found this guy now then! Some people really aren't very skillful with finding veins, kind of worrying when it's their job. [gonk]

hummy 07-20-2014 02:27 AM

she was a trainee and really nervous with how crowded it was. but she was hurrendous.

jelly~i think he knew who had done me like that and felt really bad for me.
it was a fasting set and by the time i was finished and got food it was almost 18 hours~
