There is plenty to do here, there are games (there's a 250 cap, but you can get more gold after the games by doing other things), there are wonderful forums (check out the General Discussion for a large variety of topics), tones of RP's, and a few other forums. There's also a great marketplace where you can grab some items for cheap cheap cheap.
