Halloween Costumes
Are you going to be trick-or-treating this year? Or perhaps just attending a party? Maybe handing out candy instead? What will you dress up as this year? Of all the years you have dressed up, what has been your favorite costume?

If I could get away with it, I would TOTALLY go trick-or-treating. Halloween has always been my absolute favorite holiday, sadly, I'll be twenty this year. :lol:
So instead of trick-or-treating, I scare the pants off of teenagers. To be specific, I'm a lead actor at our local haunted trail. c: |
I'm having my 5th annual Halloween Party on the 29th. I'll probably stay home on Halloween to hand out candy, since it's on a monday.
But for my party, my cousin and I are going as Harry Potter characters. She's going to be Serverus Snape, and I'm Draco Malfoy. It should be interesting to see two girls dressed as boys. I know my boyfriend isn't happy about our choice, considering I was going to be a corset-wearing, sexy pirate, before the HP costumes were imagined ^.^' |
I usually went out and trick-or-treat with my siblings. We only go for the candy, even though I'm not a candy person. I end up eating my Halloween candy for like a month later while my siblings have quite a little bit left. o.o; I don't do costumes but I wouldn't want to do it anyways. I'd rather cosplay at conventions.

I would love to go trick-or-treating! Never done it. ): Never dressed up either, Halloween isn't big here. But rest assured I'm not going to die before I dress up for Halloween, no matter at what age! :D

I WISH, but my mother has absolutely banned me from trick-or-treating... maybe it has to do with me being in 11th grade XD Though most girls in my school use Halloween to dress like total sluts (You should have seen some of them! UNBELIEVABLY bad XD) I take Halloween as an opportunity to cosplay or have REALLY creepy costumes :3

I'm a mom so I only get to take my girls trick-or-treating. I usually dress up when I take them (and sometimes people insist I take candy, too!) but last year I was too busy to dress myself.
My favorite costumes are always cosplay - especially something that's not too popular. |
MUHUHAHAHA! Youd better believe I'm going! I love halloween! Well, i might not go trick or treating, just because I'm in college and i dont really know where id do it to begin with. But I sure as hell will be dressing up and ether going to a haunted house or a party of some kind. Ive been going trick or treating every year since i was a little squirt, four or five I think, and i havent missed a single one since i started going. I never did it for the candy, I did it for the same reason i do it now. SHOWING OFF MY COSTUME SKILLS! XD The last couple of years ive been going as a zombie because ive gotten into monster makeup something fierce. Ive made children cry just by looking at me before. I feel bad for the kid, but so very proud of my handywork.
This year im ether going to do annother zombie again and amp up the makeup big time, or a devil of some kind if i get the time to make the horns... |
I've never been trick or treating, because Halloween isn't celebrated very much where I live. We get maybe one group of trick or treaters each Halloween? But this year I kinda plan on having a sort of party thing, and then sending the photos to my friend who's on a school exchange program to Japan this year. (Also doing this for Guy Fawkes and Christmas! Yay!)

Halloween was always my favorite holiday, so I was really sad my sophmore year, when I realized I had reached the age that some people might start slamming the door in my face when I showed up. fortunately, that was the same year my youth group started doing 'Trick or Treat so other can eat', where we go around and collect canned food instead of candy, but we get candy anyways, because we're just the cutest little good citizins ever. I'm doing it again this year, and am pretty excited. last year I was a pirate, but this year I really wasn't sure. Then it turns out three of my friends who I'm going with were going as goth powerpuff girls, so now I'm going as a goth version of the professor. It should be pretty great.

I haven't been trick-or-treating in... about three years. Last year, I just went to my mom's friend's house and watched scary movies. I thought I'd be in one too when I couldn't turn off their jacuzzi. XD I kept pressing the button to turn it off, but it didn't work. I tried getting up to call for help, but the water would go too low and make a big racket. I tried yelling from the tub, but no one could hear me. After awhile of imagining getting electrocuted and winding up in the news, I finally just got up. BUT ANYWAYS. Hmmm... What all have I dressed up as? A witch, clown, vampire... How sad. That's all I can remember. o_o But yeah, I'll probably just hang around here this year. I might even have homework. XD

My senior year of high school was the last time I went trick-or-treating. Not the "take little bro and sis". I went with my boyfriend and a group of our friends. I was a princess (:
Anyways. This year I think/hope we're going to a party or have a dress up day at the school I work at. I'm putting together a Female Mario and Prince Peach combo for Jesse and I ^^ I saw it in a comic and thought it was the cutest thing in the world. It's done, except for the Prince Peach part.. Pink shirt and a cape? Edit: I found the peach one.. then the mario is just a blue jumper and a red shirt. No biggie. I go out every year because I love dressing up. This year I'm going as Sailor Star Healer from Sailor Moon. I'm hoping to get the costume done by then at least.

Halloween is my dad's birthday, so my family and I are going to celebrate that. Aside from that, I'm going to dress up in a creepy costume, jump out and scare trick or treaters, and give them candy.

Trick-o-treating is not something I do... BUT! I love Halloween. I want to get some friends together this year and see if we can all dress up as characters from the same show/movie/book, etc. and do a photo shoot. :D

The past few years, I hand out candy wearing my (store-bought) jedi robes. Although, last year my social skills group had a Halloween party, I wore an old T-shirt covered with funny pins, buttons, and saftey-pins. I call it "Pin Punk".
I'm thinking about learing to sew. I'd like to make a some what acurate Princess Shinken Red costume, I'd probably have to order custom helmate online and make the sword myself. I probaly won't make it in time for Halloween this year, but I am saving up to go to next years Comic-Con. So you never know. |
All throughout my younger years, I was never allowed, nor had I any interest, in Halloween or dressing up, but this year is different! We are in a new place, and have a kind among the group who is especially serious about her costumes and candy collecting.
This year we have especially interesting costumes! One of my housemates had an especially interesting idea to force me to dress as a priest and the other four would dress as devils. I questioned this at first, but the significance that even the most pure of souls is followed by a few demons, I had to jump at the idea. We took a few days, but came up with costumes that will stand out amazingly against the usual cosplay or general Halloween creatures. So this year may well be one to remember. |
I'll be attending a party at my friend's house for Halloween - I'm too old to get away with trick or treating :P
The problem now is trying to figure out what to dress up as, there are too many skimpy costumes and the non-skimpy seem to be for plus sizes... |

I've always wanted to dress as a character from an anime I liked for Halloween.... >.>" But it never happens because I don't have the time to make it, or the money to buy a good costly costume XD
But NEXT YEAR -- I'm so going out as Nezumi from No. 6 ^^ I'll even dye my hair blue xD. (My friend said he'll be Sion -- I wonder what'll happen then.... *shipshipship NezuSion* :squee: ) This year, however, I'm getting some ears to sew onto a sweatshirt, and a tail :3 Planning to be a wolf this year! As for trick or treating, I've been going ever since I was little, and I'm not stopping now. XD |
I'd love to go out trick or treating. Not for the candy, just for the fun of it. Or maybe go to a costume party. But sadly, I have no one to go with, and when you're 20, trick or treating by yourself is kind of awkward. :lol: If I was able to, though, I'd want to do a costume a bit like this (not graphic, but it's creepy, so don't click if you're easily creeped out :) ) So... not appropriate for handing out candy to children, I'd scare them. :lol: But if I had to assemble something quickly on the fly, I'd go for Janis Joplin.
As for my favorite ever costume... One year I went as Venemoth, that was kind of cool. But I guess my favorite would be Axl Rose. I had pretty much everything I needed for that on hand... that's actually kind of weird. :lol: |
I'm not sure whether or not I'll be going trick-or-treating this year, but I'm most likely going to do something at least with friends, and I would really like to dress up.
I think I'm going to be a female version of the Phantom of the Opera this year. I'm not sure exactly what I'll wear, but I'm going to try to find some sort of mask and probably a long, dark wig. (I have a rather short haircut right now, and I don't think it really would go well with what I have in mind.) I think I'll probably wear a long skirt and one of my corsets for the rest of the outfit. |
Last Year I dress up as a girl in a poodle skirt handing out candy. it was sort of fun cause a lot of kids came by. I sat in the drive way in a camping chair but heck this year I mighty bring my laptop outside with me lols. watch some youtube while playing a game while waiting for the kids.
