Jessie smiled innocently and narrowed her eyes. "Not you're laughing at me? Meanie!" she joked and nodded. "Okay then." she said and went over to the fridge to get the ham out. Taking the ham out, she handed it to Noah and smiled. "What else do we need?" she asked.

Noah smiled when he heard her, "I wasn't laughing to be mean." he said as he looked at her. He then pulled out hte bread and watched as she got the ham, "well what else do you want on your sandwitch?" he asked.

Jessie looked at him and then thought about it. "Cheese and lettuce!" she said and smiled.

Noah smiled and nodded as he headed over to the fridge. Pulling out the cheese and lettuce, he smiled. "now lets get started." he said as he looked at her.

"Okay then let's start, I'm sure we're all very hungry and who knows how long Carter has lived with no food." she said and frowned.

Noah nodded, "yeah, better make two for him." he said and started to fashon sandwiches together. Yet before he was done making hte first one carter was at his side, watching with his mouth wide open.

Jessie nodded and was surprised when she saw Carter staring at the food. "Carter sweetie, come with me, we will wait for Noah to finish making our lunch." she said and smiled as she gently took Carter into her arms. Jessie then walked over to the living room and sighed. "We're going to have to get you some clean clothes too." she said.

As Noah made the sandwitches Carter followed her out. He looked up at her and he nodded, "I had lots of cloths at the house... But they were destroyed..." he then slowly grew more quiet qnd looked at the ground. Slowly his hand took hers and he held it tghtky.

"I'm sorry Carter, but how about the three of us go and get you some new clothes tomorrow?" she asked and held his hand as he held hers. "Would you like that?" she asked softly.

Carter nodded and didn't say a word. His eyes had a slight far away look, as if he was remembering. Which infact he was. He was remembering when everything went horrible. Yet he snapped back to the present when Noah came into the room saying, "food." Carter eyes looked at the plate of sandwiches he started to drool.

Jessie looked at Carter and wondered what he was thinking about. When the food arrived she smiled and handed Carter the plate with two sandwiches. "Two for you Carter.." she said and smiled. "Eat and enjoy."

Carter smiled when he saw the plate was being handed to him and he took it. Taking one of the sandwitches, he started to wolf it down and was as happy as a calm now. Noah chuckled as he watched him and gently wrapped a arm around Jessie. "how is he doing?" he asked her softly.

"Well he seems to be doing fine...though, before you came with the food...he seemed to be thinking about something." she explained before taking a bite from her sandwich.

Noah nodded as he started to eat his sandwitch, "well considering what he went threw I am not surprised that he would be thinking about something."

Jessie nodded. "Yeah, poor little child. We'll keep him safe though...right Noah?" she asked in a whisper before continuing to eat.

NOah smiled and nodded, "yes, we will keep him safe and if we find anyone else we will keep them safe." he said as he smiled at Jessie and finished off his sandwitch.

Jessie smiled and kissed his cheek before finishing off her sandwich. "Good, we should also get him some clean clothes to wear you know." she said and snuggled in his arms.

Noah nodded as he held her close and smiled, "yes, we should." he asked and chuckled when he saw carter yawn after finishing his food.

Jessie followed his gaze and smiled. "It seems like someone is sleepy. I think we should all get some sleep...it's been a long day." she said and looked at both of them.

Noah nodded and walked over to Carter. Picking him uo he smiled, "time for bed." he said and felt Carter lean against him, already falling asleep. He then looked at Jessie, "come on, let's head to bed." he said as he took her hand and started to lead the way upstairs. Once upstairs he put Carter to sleep and smiled at Jessie.

Jessie smiled and looked at Carter sleeping then looked at Noah. "Poor kid, must have been very tired." she whispered and kissed his cheek. "Well then...we should head to bed too no?" she asked and played with his hair gently.

Noah nodded, "yeah, this must be the first time he has relaxed in a long time." he said as he looked at her. He then smiled as he felt her kiss and nodded as he looked down at her. "yes we should." he said and loved it when she played with his hair. He then picked her up into his arms and carried her to there room.

Jessie watched Carter again and then smiled as she snuggled into Noah's arms. "I'm so tired...what are we going to do tomorrow?" she asked softly.

Noah smiled as she snuggled into his arms and carried her to bed. Laying her down, he smiled at her, "we can do anything you want." he said as he layed down next to her and pulled her close.

Jessie blushed softly and ran her fingers through his hair. "Well then, I'll have to think of something." she whispered and smiled. "I'm sure I'll think of something..." she added and kissed his cheek.
