Gaara smiled. "I remember the time you brought me soup. Temari made You leave. I really thought it was sweet. You didn't even know me. Then how you saved my life and I killed your body guard then I killed myself and once agian you had me brought back to life. Jeez...that was so full of death!" he hugged her. Now he was positive something was wrong, "Gemma tell me what's wrong or I'll just worry myself senseless. You cam trust me. You know that." he looked her in the eye, begging her to tell him. He wanted to help if he could and he couldn't help if he didn't know what was wrong. He pulled himself up out of the be and groaned as he did so. He wouldn't be at ease until he got a suitable awnser.

”Yes…. It was full of death there was a lot of pain in our past life as well. I much prefer this one even though Temari is pregnant and you hated me at first in the end you still came to love me. Told you we were made for one another” she chuckled softly but sobered quickly as a movement outside the window caught her attention making her stiffen and tense up. It was Muto trying to lure her out she just knew it. She didn’t want to tell Gaara he would only worry and try to fight Muto himself when this was her fight. It was between her and him, she didn’t want Gaara in it he would fight Muto himself and she needed to prove to herself that she could do this all on her own. ”Gaara it’s nothing really, why don’t you rest up a little okay?” Gem extracted herself from his arms and got out of bed. Her mind was already on the fight this ended today. She was sick of being followed, sick of wondering when he would next pop up, sick of it all time for things to end. Leaning over she kissed his lips lightly. ”I’ll be back in a little while okay”

Gaara ripped the IV out of his arm quicker than Gemma could move. He looked angry, bit his eyes were filled with worry. "No! You're not going anywhere until you fucking tell me what's going on! Don't you trust me!?" he looked a bit hurt. He wondered if she thought he wasnt trustworthy enough to know what was bothering her. His face changed from anger to sadness and then to worry. He refused to let her go. He was stronger than her, even in his weakened state. He growled as he felt that Cho was just as nervous as Gemma. Within ten seconds Gemma was pinned to the bed, Gaara's body inches from her. "Tell me..let me help you. That's what I'm here for. To help you and to love you." hos voice was soft, but hos grip on here hadn't lpsened up any. As long as he was breathing, she wasn't going anywhere. He noticed she'd been looking out the window alot. He smiled as he prepared to invade her thoughts. He pressed a hand to her forehead and Shukaka read Cho's thoughts. He let Gaara see what it was that made Gemma so afraid. He scowled. "Do you want to die!? You can't fight that bastard on your own. Remember last time?" the guy busted in the room and saw the akwardness of Gaara on top of Gemma looking as if he was going to rape her, it was really looking that way, though that was certainly not what he was doing. Gaara growled at the assassin. He stepped I'm front of Gemma and bared his fangs.

Gem shook her head taking a step back from the angrily advancing Gaara she wasn’t afraid of him though he looked mad his eyes showed his true worry for her. She wanted to tell him, but he was so protective of her and she needed to do this on her own. Prove to herself and everyone that she didn’t need Gaara to take care of her, ”Gaara it’s something I have to…d” but before she could even finish her statement she found herself flat on her back pinned by Gaara, his strength even in this weakened state still out matched hers. She shook her head again trying to avoid looking him in the eye when his eyes held so much worry and love for her, it weakened her resolve not to tell him. But instead of asking he and Shakaka took the information they wanted from her brain. Anger rippled through her how he dare invade her mind! But before she could open her mouth Muto burst into the room on a very awkward scene, Gaara looked like he was about to rip her clothes off and do her right there. Though that couldn’t be farther than the truth, Gaara was on his feet followed quickly by Gemma though he pushed her behind him as if she were a girl who needed to be protected. As if she hadn’t once been a Kage, as if she wasn’t a ninja and hadn’t ever been in a fight before. It infuriated her and she pushed around him claws extended on Muto who leaned against the window lazily confident in his abilities."I don't need protecting" she hissed at Gaara brows furrowed with anger. ”Seems like I walked in on a bad time, mind you I’ve had some thoughts about doing that to her myself but between all the fighting and her squirming away every time I never got a chance to pin her like that” he chuckled darkly cracking his knuckles loudly and stretching out taunt muscles to ready himself. ”There’s still time thought” he joked advancing on the pair

Gaara looked at her in a way that showed nothing but his demon side. He was really pissed at her. "If you die? Then what!? Hmm? God Damn it Gemma! You cam be so fucking pridful and it's going to get you killed. This bastard nearly ripped you to shreads last time." he turned from her to Muto who made that comment about doing her. Something snapped in Gaara. His eyes shimmered a dark gold and a thin, catlike pupil shone in the middle. His claws, much larger than Gemma's extended from each hand. "If you ever make a comment like that agian, so help me god I will be sure to rip you apart peice by peice. He was behind Muto in matter of seconds. He refused to here the man talk like that. Gaara's hand slid down the assasin's body to his private area and he rubbed upwards. Muto looked a bit suprized. "Faggot." he hissed at Gaara. One claw extended from Gaara's hand. "When I rip you apart, I think I'll start woth this." Muto chuckled, clearly thinking himself stronger than Gaara. "Boy, I can kill you anytime I want." he had a long dagger in his hand and jabbed it backwards, hitting nothing but sand. Gaara was standing beside Gemma agian. "Good luck. If you die...don't say it's my fault. He jumped out the window and vaporized into sand as he fell. He sat in his room. Gemma was going to die and he refused to watch. He kept Shakaka spying so he knew what was going on. He'd be sure to come help her if she was losing. She'd just have to pull up her big girl undies and understand that.

Well she did have to agree with him on that, she could be very prideful but so could he if their position were reversed would he really do anything different than what she was doing? But there was still one big difference between her and him, he was still a lot stronger than her and wouldn’t need her help while in all honesty she would probably need his, but she avoided saying that instead she kept her gaze fixed on Muto, Cho was calling her all kinds of stupid for not taking Gaara’s help, who had vanished out the window leaving her alone. Cho didn’t believe Gaara was going far the boy wouldn’t just let her die though Gem seemed to think he wasn’t going to watch her sure demise.
Gem focused on Muto not letting herself think about anything else if she did she was sure to psyche herself out, and she didn’t need any distraction right now. If she regretted sending Gaara away she didn’t let herself think about it they had both made their choice she was here and he had left. Muto flipped his blade from one hand and back to the other advancing on her slowly, clearly he thought this was going to be an easy fight she wasn’t about to let this be easy. In a movement almost too quick for her to see he lunged towards her, it was only luck and instinct that had her stepping back out of range of the slashing blade. The blade caught her shirt and ripped it open from collar to stomach nicking the skin on her stomach. Regaining her footing she went on the offensive lashing out at him with her claws which managed to slice open his arm. The surprise on his face at how much better she had gotten since their last fight made her smile, a dark smile. It wasn’t long before he got over his surprise and came back at her with everything he had. He bore down on her forcing her back, slashing at her with his blade. The blade caught her over and over again it was like he was everywhere, it sliced deep into her arm, her stomach, caught the delicate lacing of her bra and cut through it with ease. He smiled at her leisurely. ”Very nice, on the small side though aren’t you?” he asked motioning to her bare chest her bra of no use in covering her anymore, she didn’t try to cover herself if she did it would be the chance he needed to finish her off, or overpower her…more so than he already was. Gem couldn’t shake the image of Gaara’s face when he left the anger on it. It was distracting and Muto took advantage of that pinning her body between his and the wall. ”You shouldn’t have let your mind wander dear” with one hand he managed to pin the hands that were trying to push his muscular chest away from her. With the other he caught up the sheet tearing off a long strip with his teeth, easily he tied her up tearing the sheet into long sheets. This was even worse than having him cut her open being tied up sitting on the hospital bed. Her arms folded behind her back tied tightly forcing her chest out, her ankles tied tightly. ”That’s much better” he said thoughtfully tapping his chin ignoring the muffled curses coming from the gagged girl. ”You really should have swallowed your pride and gotten help from that boy you were never strong enough to take me on don’t you know” |
Gaara rolled his eyes at Gemma's weakness and stupidity. He really was annoyed that she hadn't wanted help. He appeared behind Muto looking annoyed and bored and he easily castrated the large man. He sighed, boredom showing all over his face as the man wailed in intense pain. Gaara gave a half smile. He whispered in a seductive way. "Tsk, Tsk, I told you didn't I? I'm going to have to rip you apart now. You're such a waste." he cut off the man's left ear earning a shrill cry. He laughed in an insane way. Shakaka almost feared his human host. Gaara was enjoying this quite a bit. "You will regret the day you tried to rape MY Gemma!" he hissed Muto was crying like a child as blood spurted all over the walls. "P-Please..just kill me already.." he begged. Gaara smiled and removed one eye and a few fingers. He was using his claws to do all of this. He jabbed one claw in Muto's belly and pulled his stomach out. Blood gushed an Muto screamed as he rapidly began to die. Gaara watched and loved the pain he heard in Muto's voice. The man was now silent and lay on the ground in a gory mess. Gaara got towels from the room and cleaned up the mess. He tossed the body out the window and the dirty towels as well. He untied Gemma and Cho flinched inside Gemma as Gaara touched her. Even Shakaka was afriad at the moment. Gaara panted and sat on the floor. He had only suffered one wound the whole fight. That had been at a time Gemma and no one else could have seen it. Muto an cut a nice sized gash on Gaara's leg. Gaara took a shower in the hospital room and dressed the nasty wound. A nurse walked in and saw him walking around. She nearly had a cow and made Gemma get off the bed. She forced Gaara to lie down. He looked annoyed, but did as told. The nurse asked Gemma if she wanted to stay or not. Gaara wondered what the girl would say. She might not want to be around a guy that had just ripped a man apart like that. Gaara was kind of pissed at her anyway for being so arrogant.

Gem tugged at the ropes uselessly as Gaara appeared behind Muto. She wasn’t surprised to see him there truth be told though she was extremely embarrassed to be caught in such a degrading position her blush was bright but she knew she would be okay with him here. The scene that followed was gory and struck her with fear, fear of the look on Gaara’s face that told her he enjoyed the pain he was giving to Muto. She shut her eyes she literally couldn’t watch this, but unable to move her arms she had to listen to his agonizing screams that made her wish Gaara would just end it. Slowly though the screams died away and there was silence when she opened her eyes the body was gone and Gaara was coming towards her. Gem avoided looking Gaara in the eye, she couldn’t not after he had dispatched this man so easily the man who had been plaguing her for months who overpowered her so easily Gaara had beaten so easily. Suffice to say she felt like a weakling, rubbing her wrists she watched Gaara’s back as he disappeared into the bathroom. Well that was bad huh she asked Cho, gathering the ripped ends of her shirt together she held it closed best she could. ”Yeah I don’t think Gaara is very happy with you” Cho pointed out as the nurse came into the room. Seeing Gem on the bed and Gaara walking around she flipped out shooing Gem off the bed and urging Gaara into it. Gem decided to stay though the nurse was nice enough to chuck a sweater at her which she gratefully slipped on. Still Gaara hadn’t said anything to her nor she to him I should have just sucked up my pride she agreed taking a seat near the bed. ”…Gaara I’m really sorry you had to save me…again”

Gaara huffed. "Gemma. I swear to god. If that man would have acctully gone as far as raping you...I would have given him even a worse death than he suffered." Gaara's eyes burned with anger. "I will NOT stand for men trying to soil you like that. I'm sorry I did all that in front of you, but I couldn't stand it. He had you tied up and was ready to..to..to.." Gaara couldn't finish as he grabbed Gemma an kissed her, unable to stay angry with her any longer. "I love you with all of my heart even if you are so damn stubborn you almost get yourself killed." he gave he a sweet smile. Shakaka almost smiled as well. His insane host could be sweet at times. Cho also smiled. This was the thong that they'd all been so eager for. Gaara was falling in love woth her. It wasn't just a crush. He really loved her like he had before, even more to he honest and they could finally be together and be happy.

She couldn’t stand the anger in his eyes, not at her she could see but at the situation, at what had happened. She looked away feeling her weakness even more acutely than she had before why was it she couldn’t even protect herself? ”I’m sorry” she said again surprised to suddenly find herself in his arms, before she could open her mouth to apologize again his lips came down on hers kissing her feverishly she melted against him loving that he had worried so much about her, loving the feeling of his strong slender arms around her, and his strength to protect her even though she wished she could protect herself. ”I just wanted to be able to protect myself is all… you protect me so much it’s like I can’t be trusted to watch out for myself… and I love it I do that you protect me but I want to be able to stand on my own two feet and not have to depend on a man all the time you know what I mean?” she asked her gaze locked on his dark eyes. She couldn’t resist the urge to tilt his chin down an inch and claim his mouth with her own again kissing him lightly and then deepening it her slender fingers tangling in his hair to pull him closer.

He let out a soft moan and ran a hand down her body. He was just about to go a bit further when the nurse walked in and nearly had a fit. She picked Gemma up by her waist and sat the girl on a chair not far from the bed. "Now listen here! You rest up until you go home tomorrow! Understood?" he pouted: "I feel fine!" he whined, but it didn't help. He wanted to have a moment with his Gemma, but figured this meant he'd have to wait until they were home. She was worth the wait, so he didn't really mind all that much. "Gemma. I love to protect you, you're a woman. You're expected to be rescued by your lover boy, it's all romantic and shit when dudes rescue damsels in distress. I have to say it's fun." he gave het an odd look. "But don't go looking for trouble." he tried to sound stern, but failed.

Gem couldn’t help but laugh at the whine in Gaara’s voice she felt the same way but still it was cute, settling herself comfortably in the chair she slipped the long sleeves of the hoodie over her hands which had grown cold in the air conditioning. Her smile had faded by now and she was left with a slightly annoyed look at Gaara’s words. She was a big girl she wanted to be able to stand on her own two feet not have to depend on him to come rescue her every single time something threatened her. Sure it was romantic and all when men came to the rescue of princess in books but she was a ninja not a princess and she didn’t need him to look after her. ”Romantic yes but I’d rather be able to take care of myself not have to run and hide behind you every single time something is after me” she brushed an annoying strand of blond hair out of her face trying to tamper down her annoyance. It wasn’t his fault she was so weak it was her own. ”I hate depending on people to protect me… least when I was Kage I was learning and I was a bit stronger than I am now…” she shrugged at a loss. All she could hope for was that the ninja “school” gave her the knowledge she needed. Though now that Muto was gone technically she could go back home now if she wanted.

Gaara just smiled at her. "It's going to be okay, you don't have to be strong, just be a woman like normal ladies." he hugged her tightly. "What are you going to do now that Muto is gone?" he asked woth a small frown. Surely shed stay. He really didn't want her to go back to her old village. He wanted her to stay woth him.

Gem shoved away from him hard a frown gracing her face, that was wrong just wrong, every woman should be able to protect herself. She didn’t need a man to look after her she could do it herself, she was a ninja not a wimp and she didn’t need Gaara to look after her. ”No Gaara I am not just some lady some woman who needs protecting and if that’s how you see me than that isn’t going to work. I was planning on staying here with you going to school and learning more. But since I’m just a girl seems all I’m good for is housework” Gem was pacing the floor anger rolling off her in waves, ”maybe I’m best just going home”

"You know what!? I didn't say any of that shit!!! That was all coming from your own damn mind so I don't give a damn what the fuck you do! Hell, go ahead, leave you stupid bitch! See if I care!" he turned from her before she could see the hot tears rolling down both of his cheeks. He had only said he wanted her to be able to live like a normal lady. He made a hand sign and dissegrated in a heap of sand. He sat on his bed and hated ever having to meet her. He'd been so much happier with Temari. Temari had understood him. He ran his hands through his hair, them wiped away any tears that tried to spill from his eyes. He was determined not to care if it was at all possible. He wanted to be his old self. The uncaring, hard, heartless Gaara. He'd been tough then and nothing had been able to Hirt him. He curled up on hos bed and slept. He was sure the door was locked so no one would randomly barge in.

Gem turned on him gritting her teeth to keep from saying anything else, she loved being treated like something precious but how dare he act like she was just a girl to be taken care of. She was more than that she was a strong woman who didn’t need anyone. ”You know what I think I will Gaara, considering how you see me! I couldn’t care if I never see you again” but she was yelling at empty air he had already left, Cho shook his head ”and after all you’ve been through together how could you do this to one another?” Gem ignored him, the nurse was coming in to see what the problem was and gaped as Gem stormed past her. She didn’t go back to the house, they could keep all the things they had bought for her out of kindness she didn’t need them she was going home. She tried to ignore the tears that slid their way down her cheeks but they made her eyes blur. Gem just kept walking in the general direction of her hometown not really paying attention to where she was going, it was starting to get dark by now she had been walking for hours when a stray rock tripped her up. She stumbled and fell twisting her ankle under her. By now Cho was calling her all kinds of stupid ”Yes Cho I get it shut the fuck up” she snapped in anger wiping at a stray tear.

It was Temari who found Gemma. She sighed. "You're such a retard." she growled and poofed her back to the house. "You cam stay with us. Gaara's gone and he's most likely not coming back." neither sibling seemed bothered that he wS gone. It was killing them both, but they pretended he didn't matter, like he was useless. Kind of like he was a pet that had run off. Most of his belongings were gone, except a small Simons ring GED left on his bedside table. It had Gemma's name engraved up the side of it. It was very clearly an engagement ring and very expensive. He hadn't cared to take it. What good was it? It hel no value to him. It only would have reminded him of Gemma. He was choosing to forget her and everyone else. He wad on the very outskirts of town. He was preparing for a justsu that would make him wake up with a blank memory. A small necklace on his neck had his name so he could remember at lead that. He was just about to preform the justsu.

She didn’t want to be found why couldn’t Temari just leave her? ”I was trying to go home it isn’t like Gaara wants me around here anyway. He will be back eventually and he won’t be happy to see me here” she snapped at Temari, though to be honest it wasn’t like she could walk not when her ankle had twisted, she was actually starting to regret her harsh words but she wasn’t going to apologize for them, she didn’t need Gaara to look after her. ”I won’t be hanging around much longer once my ankle feels better I’m going home, I won’t stay with a guy who only see’s me as a lady to be taken care of” ”Your being an idiot Gem why must the two of you always fight all the time, for once why can’t you let yourselves be happy?” Cho snapped at her sick and tired of the way they were acting. He didn’t usually take Gem’s body over but it seemed he had no choice, Temari had left the room and Cho taken over Gem’s body she didn’t really put up much of a fight. He checked around the house but Gaara wasn’t home. Where had that boy gotten off too? ”Kankuro where on earth is Gaara?”

Kankuro frowned. "He's gone to live in the leaf village with his buddy, Naruto. Said he was fed up with this place and he wasn't coming back. Belive me, when Gaara says he's doing something he does it, I don't expect to she him anywhere near here for at least a few years. It's a three day trip to the leaf, so don't bother looking for him." Kankuro seemed upset. "I was hoping this would work out this time. Maybe you guys just aren't meant to be..."

Gem wanted her body back but Cho wasn’t about to give it back to her ”Don’t be a fool Kankuro you know as well as I do that they are made for one another and I’m tired of stupid arguments and disagreements being the reason these two are torn apart. They need to learn to talk to one another” Cho wasn’t usually so forceful with Gem but this time he was keeping her fully under-wraps ”Gaara is both strong and weak, he runs away at the least sign of a problem instead of working it out. They are made for one another Kankuro almost like two halves to a whole and you know it just as much as I do” he didn’t wait for an answer from Kankuro merely turned away, ”Seems we are going to the leaf village Gem get ready to go on a journey” Gem struggled against the invisible bonds that kept her trapped inside her own body unable to take control. You evil demon I don’t want to see him she snapped having conveniently not heard what Cho had said to Kankuro, or maybe she blocked it out. ”I don’t care what you want this is anger speaking you love him and he loves you, you both need to get over your stupid anger issues, the both of you”

Gaara woke up a few hours later on a couch in Naruto's living room. His ass hurt like a bitch and so did hos head. "Ugh..." he groaned and closed his eyes again. Naruto walked in with some soup and a cheese sandwich. "Thanks." he mumbled quietly. Naruto was really worrid. Gaara had been so drunk last night, not to mention high as a motha fucka. Gaara groaned agian. "My ass hurts." he whined. "I bet it does. Kiba wore you out real good. We could hear you screaming all the way next door." Gaara looked confused. "He wore me out? What do you mean?" Naruto smirked. "He fucked you so hard you were screaming like a four year old girl." Gaara groaned. "So I'm gay now...wow..." he mumbled. "Naw. You were really drunk and lonely." Gaara sighed and his thoughts went to Gemma.

Somehow he wasn’t exactly sure how he had been able to do it but Cho had kept Gem under locks in her body while he made the trip to the leaf village. This couldn’t be good for her but maybe when he did give her, her body back she would be either too weak or disoriented to get very far. Cho felt weak himself he wasn’t made to be in control this long. After the first day Gem had stopped fighting him and turned to sulking by the second day she would talk to him if he asked her questions, by day three she went quiet either unwilling or unable to talk he though it the former. It took him four days to get to leaf village, mainly because he had to stop and ask directions he had no idea where he was going, by day four he couldn’t even get her to talk to him it started to worry him but at least they were here. ”We are here Gem” she didn’t say anything but then he didn’t expect her too, he got the both of them to an inn and bought a room and collapsed on the bed giving control back over to Gem before they fell asleep.

Naruto watched as Gaara became more and more distant from people: he seemed to care more about being alone than anything. Gaara sat in his room by the window. It was raining pretty hard and he just watched raindrops run down the window. He didn't even have on any music or anything. A bottle of whiskey was in his right hand and he took a big swig every little while. Naruto sighed deeply. "You're going to be really drunk agian if you don't stop drinking all of that whiskey. "I know.." Gaara answered cooliy, not caring if he was so smashed he got achol poisoning. It really didnt matter anymore. He could be an acholic and nobody was going to care. By the end of the night, Gaara found himself in the arms of Kiba once agian. He was agian to drunk and lonely to care. Kiba smootly kissed Gaara, sending a shiver down Gaara's spine. Hands roamed him freely, he put up no fight. Naruto glared at Kiba. "He's straight! You know that!" Kiba grinned. "He could've fooled me." he had Gaara writhing in pleasure on the couch as his hands worked their way into every sensitive place Gaara had. Naruto growled. "He's drunk you idiot!" Kiba just rolled his eyes. "Let Gaara do as he pleases, he's a big boy now."

Cho rolled to his feet stretching Gem’s slender arms above his head and arching his back like a little cat he stifled a yawn. Time to look for Naruto where Naruto was Gaara was sure to be, it took him over a minute or two to realize that he was still in charge of Gem’s body when he reached inside to find the girl he couldn’t it was like she had disappeared. ”Shit I need to talk to Shakaka maybe he knows how to get her back.” It wasn’t long before he had her body bathed, dressed, and fed when he walked outside it was already night seems they had been a lot more exhausted then he thought to sleep all day and night. It took a lot of questioning of the people around the inn but eventually he found someone who directed him to Naruto’s house where Gaara was sure to be. During the long walk over Cho kept looking for Gem and he did eventually find her but all she did was shoo him away like a pest it was almost as if she were sleeping and didn’t want to be bothered. But that wasn’t normal was it? He didn’t know and it worried him, the rain started falling again soaking Gem’s body, plastering her hair to her head and her clothes to her body. ”She’ll get sick this way if I don’t get her inside” it wasn’t long though before he finally reached Naruto’s house. Quickly he rapped on the door impatiently as a streak of lightning lit up the skies followed quickly by a loud clap of thunder that made him jump. Luckily Naruto answered the door rather quickly and took pity on the girl soaked to the bone, Cho wondered if the young man knew who she was. |
