What happens when two people meet and find out they've known each other before?

Allen was walking through the woods like he usually did after work. He wanted to relax before heading back home to make dinner and then go to bed . He lived alone and most of the time liked it that way. He sat on a log and listened to the birds sing. He knew he should be heading back, but for some reason didn't want to.

Emma, a petite woman, lived near the woods. She liked to walk here from time to time to clear her mind. She breathed in the fresh autumn air,her nose wrinkled and she smelled something familiar and human."What's that smell?"She couldn't help but wander closer to the scent.

Allen got up and headed back toward home. He thought he saw someone headed toward him. This was unusual since he thought there weren't any other people that lived nearby. He hoped that they didn't see him .

The girl sped up a little to try and follow him. He smelled so familiar,but she didn't recognize him at all and his scent was tainted with human. "Who is he?"She was beginning to become irritated that she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Emma wondered what were her chances of finding out who this person was if she just asked,but decided against it.Instead she made the choice to follow him home.

Allen had the feeling he was being followed. He walked a little faster hoping to lose the person. He was feeling irritated for some reason. If it continued he would let them know how he felt about it.

She stopped and cocked her head to the side. Why was he speeding up. She frowned and started to walk just as fast as he did to close some of the gap between the two of them. Emma noticed an acorn on the ground. She picked it up and threw it ,watching as it made a small plinking noise against the back of the man's head.

He turned around and yelled." What was that for?! Why are you following me?" He saw the young woman and knew this was the person following him. It hurt a little where what ever she threw at him had hit.

Emma's face was blank. She stepped forward and knocked on his forehead lightly as if she were knocking on a door. The small female would then sniff him and frown. She covered her nose.You wreak!She took another wif of him and breathed deeply.But, in a good way.

Allen pushed her away . " Don't do that! I do not smell. I take a bath every day! Who are you and what's going on?" He demaned. he thoguht that tonight would be normal. Things were getting weird.

Emma's eyes narrowed into slits. She bit his finger and stood there staring at him.You smell of human.She poked at his forehead and grinned.

" Stop hurting me! What's that supposed to mean? Of course I'm human! Aren'y you human. Besides I have to get back home." He was getting creeped out with what she was saying. What was she?

Her eyes bugged out a little and she nodded her head. She knew she was lying saying that she was human,but she didn't care. She stood there staring at him with a blank look upon her face staring at the imprint of her teeth on his finger.Did that honestly hurt? She took his hand and examined the little crescent.

"It did hurt at first but not now . Do you live around here?"

Emma released his hand and scrutinized him momentarily.Why?She took a subtle step back. She knew interacting with humans was a bad idea.

" Just wondering really . When I moved out here I was told that there was no one who lived close by me."

" About four months ago. I moved here for a job and I liked the location of the house. It's still in the city limits but it still it's quet out here." Allen liked the quiet very much .

Allen walked back to his home confused. The next night came, and he took another walk in the woods . Something was very strange about the girl he met last night. She was on his mind all day for some reason . He hoped they didn't meet again .

Emma could smell the man again. She frowned, but couldn't help herself. She followed him again. Hiding behind a tree she watched him as he walked. So familiarShe bit down on her botton lip. Contemplating whether or not she should approach him.

Allen decided to make this walk short tonight . He had to get up earlier than he usually did. Tonight was normal and he didn't see the girl. Something about her was familiar .

Tonight Emma was going to do something she'd never done before. She was going to follow a human home. She took a deep breath a quietly trailed behind him. Her heart was racing this was so weird. Why was she drawn to this person.

Allen got home and locked the backdoor . He went to the kitchen to start making himself some dinner.
