" Nice to meet you Emma. Would you like to stay in the guest room? I'm about to go to bed. I don't have work tomorrow so maybe we can try to figure out how we know each other? " Allen said.

Emma hated awkard situations so she simply nodded and looked down at her feet.

Allen led her to the room." I hope you like it. It has it's own bath room . Let me know if you need my help ."

Emma poked around in the room . She sniffed at the bed . She sat on it and sunk into it's fluffiness. ThanksThe girl smiled goofily.

" You're welcome. I'll see you in the morning then." Allen said.

Emma didn't sleep that night. She just sat in that same position all night staring at the door,waiting for Allen to return when the daylight came.

Allen woke up the next morning and got ready for the day. He went to see if Emma was awake and saw that she was sitting in the same position as last night." Did you sleep well last night?" He asked.

Emma lept lightly to her feet from the bed and stood before him smiling.Hi.

" Would you like some breakfast?" He wondered why the bed didn't look slept in . He hoped he would get some answers today.

Emma shook her head no. She waited for himt to lead the way.

Allen headed down to the kitchen noticing that she was following him. He got a frying pan out and then some eggs and some butter. He hoped she would eat something .

Emma stared over Allen's shoulder as he mixed things. She sniffed at the ingredients as he set them out and toyed with them. The girl dropped a couple of eggs and scooped them up in her hands and held the yolks out to him.Is this any good?

" Let me show you how to crack an egg. " He grabbed one and hit it lightly on a bowl." Now pull the shell apart over the bowl. You think you can do it?" Allen liked Emma.

Emma smiled and grabbed an egg as well. She roughly hit the egg on the rim of the bowl and watched pulled it apart as small pieces of the shell fell into the bowl along with the yolksI did it!She smiled proudly.

" You did a great job!" Allen said , not knowing there were a few pieces of shell in the eggs. He lightly scrambled them and put them in the hot pan. He stirred them a little bit before he put the bread in the toaster.

Emma sniffed at Allen's hair.She poked and prodded around him.

" Would you please stop that!" He hated it when she sniffed him.

Emma stopped immediately,bit into her lip and looked down. Her cheeks were flushed and she was embarrassed.I'm sorry

" Don't feel bad. I never had anyone do that to me before. Why is it you do that?" Allen asked curiously.

Emma's face went blank and she stared at him.You smell familiar. It's comfortable. I like it.

" You are famialr to me too. What do you mean by smell. " Allen had a feeling Emma wasn't telling him something about herself. She looked human but something was different.

She blushed a bit and pretended to be interested in the eggs again,only peaking at Allen from time to time when he wasn't looking.

Allen finished the eggs and divided them into two portions. He put Emma's on a plate with two pieces of toast and handed the plate to her .

" Are you sure? Eggs are a good source of protein. " Allen said noticing she was giving her plate a strange look.
