It seems lady bugs like doing that. I wonder if its a defense mechanism. I think that might have been what made ladybugs weird for me. I know butterflies was because I touched ones wings and it couldn't fly anymore. I was so sad. I think I was 4. Maybe 3 even. Later I found out they taste with their feet and then I started lumping them in with creepy crawlies.
