I'm actually more :eager: with Calculator atm. They used his post Crisis (Identity Crisis more specifically) design and personality and I'm just happy about that. Normally he's represented quite unflatteringly as a nerd or potato couch type of person. xD

Ooh. :O That's exciting!
Aaaand, I just realized I played this for a bit. On the PS3 though. I made some character with wings.

Ah. That's good at least. :lol:

AlkseeyaKC 11-28-2011 04:54 PM

YAY IRO!!

Good to know, I hope that is a good sign. =3

TheEmpressofEvil 11-28-2011 06:42 PM

I haven't tried DCU yet but I want to. Maybe after finals week I'll have enough free time to pick it up.

Antagonist 11-29-2011 01:46 AM

I've recently somehow become a bit enamored with Barricade from the Transformers series. Damn you, fanfiction. >_>; (considering I hadn't even known what the police car's name was nor what most of the other Cybertronians' names were before I started reading the random fics...arrrgh)

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 01:48 AM

I feel like you do that a lot. :lol:

Antagonist 11-29-2011 02:44 AM

And what's even worse...he's a freaking bad guy. AGAIN. :gonk: Which means he gets his ass kicked and then killed at the end of the movie. Fuuuuuu. :cry:

...

I wish I had USD$36,000. I want to buy that police car modeled after him that was auctioned off after the filming of the movies. :lol:

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 03:45 AM

O .o You need some positive role models. For realz.

Antagonist 11-29-2011 04:37 AM

Haha, I agree. :sweat:;

So far I haven't found any that I like...I mean, there are some good guys out there that I think are pretty nice, but not enough that I really like them as much as I usually do with the bad ones. :stare: *thwaks head against desk*

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 05:03 AM

This is only setting in motion the fact that we are mortal enemies! :ninja:

-shrug- Maybe you just have bigger sympathy for them that's stronger than the need for justice.

Antagonist 11-29-2011 06:20 AM

...Like Optimus Prime and Megatron, brothers turned enemies? :ninja:

Hm, I don't think so...I know that (most of them that) they're 'evil', some being evil for the sake of being evil, but I still like them more than the 'good guys' who are protecting others from the evil and trying to uphold justice. My mind is so fucked up. :headdesk:

...I blame it on my 'Red Riding Hood/Big Bad Wolf Syndrom' as a kid. :ninja:

TheEmpressofEvil 11-29-2011 07:05 AM

My bf and I got into a fight over transformers once. I said that I'd probably be more on the deception side of everything, destroy another race to survive. I see it as not much different as eating animals/using resources. >.> he hated that notion but.. still I see their point. They want their world to thrive. granted they were wasteful and therefore responsible for needing to in the first place. SO.. I'd probably be more like an autobot at first. all green thinking preservationist but once things went past that I'd be more survive at ANY cost.. even another planet and another race. But eh it's one thing to say that and another to do it. He says I wouldn't do it. He's probably right. I probably wouldn't.

That conversation was just based on what I got from the movies. I've never read the manga or watched the old anime or any of that. I want to. Sigh, I need more free time!

Antagonist 11-29-2011 07:21 AM

I've never read the comics nor the novels either. Just the movies for me. :XD

I'm not sure what started the war, but by the point where they were on Earth, I think the Decepticons mostly just wanted the Allspark so they could rebuild Cybertron. And after the Allspark was destroyed, they wanted to bring their planet over so they could have the humans rebuild Cybertron. It was all for trying to restore their planet, IMHO...even if the means to the end were through destruction of another planet and enslavement. I thought the Autobots are rather stupid...I mean, I get their point of respecting other species and all that, but if I were a Cybertronian, I'd probably be on the side of the Autobots first (because I hate getting backstabbed and backstabbing others like many Decepticons like to do...), and then when it starts getting hopeless, defect to the Decepticons since they were making much more headway in restoring 'my' planet, my home.

No. :|

Eh. Probably just like the characters. -shrug- Maybe you just find them more interesting than good guys.
I don't know. I like some bad characters too, but I always err on the side of justice and fairness. At least in my eyes.

That's a pretty good argument. :O

I like to think I'd still be on the Autobots side. XD Hopefully.

TheEmpressofEvil 11-29-2011 07:31 AM

Yeah that's pretty much what I got from the movies. The first movie I didn't quite understand what was so bad about the deceptions getting the cube or the autobots getting and using the cube to rebuild their own home. The bf said if the decepticons had gotten it they'd destroy earth for resources so I guess that makes sense but I still didn't see why the autobots wouldn't want to do the same thing as they do. Get the cube, restore cybertron. Seems like both groups should have that end game goal. I just thought the autobots seem to be telling everyone in their race to just lay down and wait for the end of their race because no matter what, for their world to thrive, something would have to be used up and destroyed. I guess I have a hard time buying into that good for the sake of being good. I always tend to go with more survival of the fittest attitudes.

Antagonist 11-29-2011 10:19 AM

@Iku: I was just kidding. :P

@Empress: Yeah. It seemed that both sides were fighting for the same ends. I was pretty bummed with the ending of the movie triology, because it basically meant the Cybertonians are going to eventually die out (in maybe another million years or so) because there's no Allspark anymore, and I think there's only one or two femmes left in existence. :|

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 02:27 PM

Eh. Transformers is one of those things I'm not very interested in. I can feel my head swirling already. @ [email protected]

Antagonist 11-29-2011 02:55 PM

Haha, I wasn't all that interested in Transformers either until I read that one fanfic. And then I went spiraling down the path of obsessive fanfiction-reading. :XD;;

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 02:56 PM

-steps away from- That's unhealthy.

Antagonist 11-29-2011 02:57 PM

Yeah...I know. It happens sometimes. :headdesk:

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 03:12 PM

-shrug- That's one of those things I won't ever understand. :lol:

Antagonist 11-29-2011 03:20 PM

Sometimes I wish I were you so I don't fall into random obsessions all the time. :lol:;;

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 03:22 PM

I have a strict "no fanfic" policy. :XD

Antagonist 11-29-2011 03:23 PM

Hmm...I'm nearly always reading fanfiction. :gonk:

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 11-29-2011 03:27 PM

:lol: Nothing wrong with that~ I just don't like regular people's outlook on characters I like. And frankly that's too much time out of my day. I'd rather just read an unrelated book. Plus I just don't like getting too into one thing sooo I don't. :XD
