!!! Ted-horse! :eager: -feeds a carrot-
Hey there, Cole. :B You should show us some of your art some day~ |
...There is a horse? O_O
|
Well....i'm multi-talented since I go to school to learn this stuff....
But er....I know Photoshop and Illustrator. I tend to use them together on projects. I can show you something I did...though...it's the first version and not the final one which I have made. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...98975040_n.jpg Marvel and DC logos were pen tooled on Illustrator, and both characters cropped out in Photoshop. |
I prefer batman. XD
I just now had a problem with Photoshop. Do you know how to replace a color to a specific HEX code? ...You didn't draw Batman and Spidey? |
No...I didn't draw them and only cropped them out. I could recolor them if I wanted to by pen tooling them. Could take awhile depending upon how many lines and curves I have to deal with.
Replace a color with a specific hex? I think you can use the Magic Wand and select that area with it as it should only select that single specific color then find the hex color in the color pallet and replace it with the hex. I think that will work though i've personally never tried it. I'm just going with my first hand knowledge. |
@Rette: Ted-san looked like a horse. :ninja:
@Cole: Heeey, that's pretty neat! ;D |
Colele~ I actually expecting for more faster way to replace/change color. *lazy*
Akihiko~ Your avatar is a male? o_O *suddenly notice* O_O |
@Xuv: I think that's a pretty fast method but I don't know how the results will turn out. I haven't really individually replaced a whole section of one color into another due to the risk of replacing the wrong ones. And having to either undo it or manually repair it by using the original to compare and see what I messed up.
I know too much....*sighs* |
I was using Replace Color in the adjustment, but it do not let me do exact hex code. :<
Obviously, I am a far more lazy person than you. So really no other way? T__T |
Not that I know of so you're pretty much screwed if you want to individually replace it.
Adjustments won't help you that much anyway....unless you're editing some photo you took. Then yes...it will.... |
*frets*
Oh well... can you detail on how to replace the colour? Other than magic wand, no other tool use or? |
Magic Wand tool will only help though if it's the only unique specific color that is on said image. If there's that same color in other aspects of the image then it'll look weird. It'll probably cause alot more hassle though if that's the case.
So....I don't know....can you tell me what you're trying to replace? |
Just one color. a very very specific hex color. Don't worry about the same color in other part, I have all different portion separated in layers.
|
I'd give the Magic Wand a try by clicking on that specific section and then it'll crop around that area with the selection.
Next you just go to the pallet and type in the specific hex then once you have it click apply or ok or whatever. It should do as you want but I don't know for sure. Never tried it so wouldn't know. You can tell me if it does...of course... |
Which is why I am a bit confused.
I select the color area just fine, but when I change the color in the tool box, magic wand selected area doesn't change. |
*rubs my head a little bit*
If I don't figure this out then i'm going to have to experiment when I get to school tomorrow... I'm trying to go through my head and figure it out....bah! |
You... remember all the functions in your head?! O_O
|
*sits down, closing my eyes, and thinks to myself*
I don't have the software at home and I have a visual memory so I can dig around and visualize the interface and see if I can come up with a feasible solution. If not...then...who knows.... |
*Impressed* VIsual memory? Very good? Can I train it?
|
Er.....uh.......
*opens my eyes and shyly looks down* Sure....I mean....I guess..... |
What I actually mean is Photographic memory. DX
|
How do you plan on training it? Hmm?
My mind is like a messed up library....I take in everything but always can go back and figure something out if I dedicate time to it. It's all about back tracing....and it works...for the most part.... |
I have very bad memory. Like... I had been using one particular bag for 2 or 3 years... but if someone ask me what is the color of the little pocket, I won't know. I am aware it is a different colour, but I can't remember it is blue or green or purple.
|
Not to say I don't have a bad memory like you but i'm pretty much selective on what I save in my mind.
I tend to forget the non-essentials which is why i'm so bad at permission slips because I always tend to forget about stuff like that so it's probably not the best idea. I just have to keep the thought inside my head for long enough so that it is stored and I can remember it easier.... |
There was even once I thought I lost my lugagge... then it turns out that I remember the wrong color. DX I thought it is pink, but in fact it is blue.
