You lost your luggage? What an achievement....
I tend to remember important stuff like luggage because I have some thing where I look at unique details so I know it when I see it. Color, designs, etc. Must be why I like graphic design... |
It is not lost. But I practically overlook it because I am looking for a pink luggage. -_-;;
Last month, I had a debate with my classmate. Photoshop better or Illustrator better? How different are they other than one manage vector another manage jpeg? |
Illustrator is good for the aspect of vectors as you can resize them any size and the image will not lose any quality in the process. That's why Illustrator is good for logos due to the fact that it can be resized from a small logo for print on a brochure to one on a billboard.
Photoshop on the other hand has to do with raster images so it's all pixelated. You can resize images but you'll lose quality the larger you resize it as it is all pixels and not curves like in Illustrator. Photoshops advantage is the fact that it's fit for image editing professionally and allow you many different options for making a photo look professional. From the minor touchup of artifacts from a scanned image to cropping out an image then resizing it's resolution. I love both equally as they're partners to me. I think they're a good team if used together. |
Can Illustrator or photoshop file be interchange? as in, go to edit in illustrator then bring it back to PSD while still retaining the layers?
|
They can be interchanged. Just like Adobe Premiere supports PSD files as you can insert them in and use them as titles.
I think it'll come onto one whole layer if you import it into Photoshop from Illustrator....but you can individually import each piece. Then do whatever to make it look like it looked before the transfer. I haven't imported from Photoshop to Illustrator as I tend to do the reverse...so try that and see what happens. |
If I import from Illustrator, all layers are separated? AI files to Photoshop?
|
If you group them and import then they're together but if you import them separately then no.
|
By the way... Have you been looking at the shop for your avatar fashion?
|
Mine will sort of have basic scrubs until I evolve into something weird...
I don't know how this will go until I get the funds but we'll see.... |
Because I want to ask, as a newbie starting out, what clothes you would want on?
I tested Illustrator and Photoshop again for the import and export. So PSD is not possible to open in illustrator? |
Why are you so curious into what I want to wear?
You might be able to but i'm not talking about opening a file in a program. I'm talking about importing and exporting elements from said programs by copying and pasting them. Not actually inserting the file. |
I want to get ideas in pixeling for male newbie, since I have no design inspiration for male.
|
Pixeling is a pain through as you have to be very specific about your design and also understand dithering.
Both require alot of time and effort before it's even a complete thing. |
erm... XD I am asking for what are you expecting to have in terms of your avatar dressing. XD
Like... denim pants, pants with lot of pockets, coat, blazer and so on... |
I'll only answer if you promise to PM me....
:) |
NOOOo~~~ I will not take... hmm... the threat!
*hides under blanket* |
Then I won't tell you what i'm going for with my avatar...
And that little announcement you read will mean nothing.... |
...what little announcement?
|
The one on designing clothing for newbies...
Obviously i'm not that clueless.... |
... I think I kinda lost you... how the announcement would mean nothing?
|
Because then you wouldn't be getting a newbies opinion on what i'd wear...
Therefore...useless.... |
oh, Now I get it!
... That is a threat!!! Oh well~ I can go to fresh meat IF i really desperately want to ask. XD |
So when are you going to PM me?
Hmm? |
SInce you so insisted I PMing you, I will NOT PM you. *goes opposite*
|
You....won't PM me? You know how much that saddens me?
Well then...no more tips or tricks on Photoshop or Illustrator. I got alot you won't learn from a tutorial on Youtube. |
