What style/media do you use if you don't mind me asking? |
Multiple. Mostly traditional art though. I paint(acrylic, oil, and water color), I draw(Charcoal or pencil and colored pencil), I do some digital but I don't like it much.

Ah! I never really learned how to paint, but I've always wanted to learn. I'm envious! I've found that creating traditional art definitely feels more expressive than digital work... but I mostly do digital anymore. : P

@Mythos- Something about traditional art moves the soul. I can take up a paintbrush and have no idea what I'm going to paint and still come up with something magical. The paintbrush moves itself sometimes. |

I was trying to create my own parchment background, and was looking through the filters. I saw 'coffee stain' and thought 'Oh, that would go nicely with what I'm doing!' The default was at three, so I just went with it, but it kinda froze in the middle of making them... And then it wouldn't close! *cries* I had to shut down my comp before it would stop!

Arrg... and I bet you were just getting to the point where you really were liking how it was turning out? : \
That's always how it seems to work. Does GIMP have automatic save/recovery?... I don't think most art programs do but... *crosses fingers* |

But I hope you didn't lose a lot and able to save back whatever you have... |
I saved not long before trying it, and was really liking it, too. I haven't gone back to it yet, today... Hopefully it's not corrupted!
