Goat owns a good pc. :D
Yes, CS2 itself has good enough functions. xD Although I got myself a pc upgrade a few years back because the course I'm in requires a lot of graphic heavy programs. |
Yea, I'll make do with this one for as long as I can, and then If I start making some serious work and commissions, I might upgrade if I need to.
There's no reason for me to do that now, because it works. hehe. |
I feel like want to know OYGG's PC spec now. XD
Bubbleble, the video you showed. The video just showed a parchment type of background with a dot at the centre... I felt it lack of visual interactiveness at the beginning. x.x I hope you understand which one I meant. and no need to feel sorry. I like checking out things. I am currently using...*checks* O__O CS6?! lol, since when I install CS6? I always thought it is 4. XD |
Oh, I see. Well, he starts drawing a graph and explaining stuff trough out the video, but it's fine if you don't find it interesting. It was really helpful to me, so that's why I shared it. :)

I own a laptop. OUO Got a loan from the government from my disability pay to get it and have never regretted it! It's pretty damn good, I think.
|
Laptop? wow... even my desktop lags a bit when dealing with large size... and when I mean large size is A0 size.
XD I need to use those size to do my presentation board. |
*hugs her laptop* Even if it's jerky sometimes.. it's usually pretty good to me~
|
I like my computer. It's only a few years old and still holds up fairly well; the gaming takes its toll and it's not really designed to handle more than ten minutes at a time, but I don't mind it.
|
Lets face it, if the computer works at all then it's a good computer.
|
XD I like my computer to perform well~
|
I'm all for well. xD
I used to play MMOs, so I'd like a computer which could handle the graphics. While I don't have time to play games as much these days, the better specs are still good for art programs. :B |
I would love well, but if it preforms at all I can be happy. Because I get to come online and talk to wonderful people.
I don't play many games. *is a boring person* If it doesn't come on the DS/DSi/3DS that I'm not really interested. ^^'' I like my portable and non-art-time-interupting games. Thinking of art. PEN DOODLE~ http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/i/20...at-d5wt85m.jpg |
I like how that is coming along. :D I have to ask though, what is that at his stomach area? xD
Just yesterday, I decided to bless my new sketchbook (relatively speaking, I bought it a week ago and had not touched it till yesterday) and made myself draw. Ended up painting the piece too. Let me scan it in a bit. :d |
I'm just going to leave it as it, I think. It is just a sketch after all.
Oh- That's a city, supposedly. Drawing direct with pen is sometimes difficult. Ohohohoh!? Sounds exciting~ |
Aaah I see it now! :D
Drawing with the pen is indeed difficult, but it helps a lot in improving yourself because it's not easy to fix mistakes with a pen, so it trains you to draw more steadily. I should do it more often. \o/ I don't use paint often. In fact, I used to really dislike using watercolour paints, but a friend who primarily does her art in watercolours inspired me to give them a go again, so I've been using them a little more than I used to now. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ps76db18d5.png |
Cora highly dislikes water colors......she can never get them to do what she wants D:<
|
It smudges too much for my liking. I never quite had the patience to wait for paints to dry. xD
|
It trains you to be able to see the underlying work before you start drawing anyways.
I haven't done any watercolours in so long.. Haven't had the room to. but that is bloomin' awesome~ Good work. I really love the fall of his hair. =u= *pets it* |
This talk of pen sketches inspires me to do so now. Where's my sketchbook. *totters off to get it* ~~/o/
Thank you! I enjoy hair. Hair is very enjoyable to draw. |
Lolol-- Pen sketching is probably my favourite way of sketching.
You do it well~ *jealous because finds hair annoying* |
I find more comfort in pencils and charcoal for sketching. xD
I do really like inking with pens, though. I could never get the hang of brushes for them. Hair is actually one of my favourite parts! I used to just sketch locks of hair everywhere. =w= |
I like charcoals and pencils too~ I'll try anything really. =3= All the mediums ever~
Aww~ I'm glad you like drawing it~ really~ I tend to focus on some strange parts apparently... >_> The nose and mouth are fun though. |
I can't stand oils though. I tried, I really did. [gonk]
I'm also not a fan of crayons, but that one is mostly due from unpleasant childhood experiences with it. [lol] Mouths are! Noses, though, I need to work a lot on. I never quite worked on noses until recently, so it's like a whole new world to me. :o Other things to work on: Feet. |
Unfortunately I can't be in the same room as oils with out vomiting. =_= But they look like fun.
FEETSES! Don't get me started on feet! I love drawing them. Them and hands. I have a character who's clubfooted 8| Gosh is he fun to try and balance. |
... D:
I like watercolor effects and their brightness... but I don't like to wait for them to dry... I always mess up that part. DX besides, The flow of working with watercolour, especially the leave white part doesn't work for my usual drawing style. lol. I prefer to have the opportunity to undo. |
