I just need to focus but it is impossible for me to focus on one thing x3

xuvrette 12-19-2013 05:06 AM

I can't turn off internet even when I am not using it.
x.x the connected icon makes me feel everything is working fine.

Lunch is... cauliflower carrot mushroom, and lemon chicken!

Xaevan 12-19-2013 05:09 AM

@Mirella: That's my entire problem with trying to work, which is not working out very well right now. I feel twitchy without internet. xD

@xuvrette: I'll nay on the vege combo, but lemon chicken is good. [eager]
I've (sadly) only had them about 5 times in my whole life.

xuvrette 12-19-2013 05:45 AM

wow? Sounds like the amount of time I had been in the Sunway Pyramid. x.x
Why lack of lemon chicken?
Vege is GOOD. and healthy.

Xaevan 12-19-2013 05:49 AM

No one in my family likes eating them except me. And every time I suggest it I get disgusted looks. =_=

Veges are good, but that's not my favourite combination of vegetables. xD

MoodyBats 12-19-2013 06:37 AM

@Xaevan
I can never focus on Just one thing.
So I multitask and on the way I get distracted away from what I am suppose to be doing. [gonk] [sweat]

xuvrette 12-19-2013 09:20 AM

I personally do not like eating.
The action of eating, the need of eating.
Other than things I like, like chocolate. XD

Nephila 12-19-2013 11:48 AM

I m that way with sleep. I feel like it takes to damn long.

Iro 12-19-2013 11:53 AM

If we do not need as much sleep as we do, imagine how much work could've been done. [:(]

xuvrette 12-19-2013 12:09 PM

... but I enjoy sleeping.
Not really about sleeping, more to dreaming. I like the dreams.

Fundamentally, I am a LAZY person. so sleep is my entertainment.

Nephila 12-19-2013 12:35 PM

I like dreaming. I have vivid dreams quite often. When you stay up for days then sleep for three hours they get crazy.

Can you control things in your dreams?

Iro 12-19-2013 01:27 PM

Is Nephila a lucid dreamer? I've never achieved that, but I have some of the most surreal dreams sometimes so I don't really want to. [:O]

Nephila 12-19-2013 01:51 PM

Yes I have been since I was young. I never slept very well even as a child I'd stay up during the night. Nights I do finally let myself sleep properly they tend to be lucid.

In my latest one I dreamt I connected with my daughter in the astral realm and took her across our city to see Christmas lights. I wanted to take her to see the northern lights from space but she got scared when we got to a certain height above the world even though we'd already been flying across the city. XD

She's been asking me a lot about dreaming lately. You know regular kid stuff. "If you die in your dreams do you die for real?" "Why do I have the same dreams sometimes?" So I think that's why I dreamt that she was there. She hasn't come to me about any thing specific in her dreams though. I kinda wonder if we had similar dreams that night. While I believe in lucid dreaming and do it naturally without prompting, the astral projection and interaction with real world part always kinda makes me wonder if it's possible or really happening.

xuvrette 12-19-2013 04:11 PM

I can control my dreams, really, depending on how engross I am in the dream.
Sometimes, I am involved in it, sometimes I am just a bystander. Depending on how 'urgent' the happening is, giving enough chance for me to realize it is a dream, I can control it. Some times I am so engross in the happening and storyline without realizing it is a dream, then I have no chance to project my control over it.

Not to mention, I actually half wanted to test the theory of prediction dream, so I may have the subconscious of 'watching' more than intervening. I dreamt about future little things before. Some scenes are too specific to be coincidence.

TaiyoTsuki 12-20-2013 02:07 AM

I don't remember most of my dreams. And the ones I do, tend to be the weirdass ones. I mean REALLY weirdass. One time I made the mistake of watching Doctor Who, Hellsing, and Death Note in the same day. Strange dreams that night....

Pistachio_Moustache 12-20-2013 02:46 AM

I have that problem as well.
Only, mine started when we moved into our house.
D:

Nephila 12-20-2013 02:56 AM

Ahh! They say creative people are better at lucid dreaming naturally because the symbolism parts of their brain are more developed. Makes sense imo.

I do the same thing Rette! Sometimes I'll participate other times I'll step back and let the dream evolve naturally and watch it like a movie. I've had times where the dream will pull me back into participating. Like when ever I dream about "the creatures" I find it hard to stop taking part of the dream and they put me in strange mazes with impossible stairs.

The strange dreams are my favorite when lucid dreaming. Hoping in and out of them. Then again I also love horror movies so it's really hard to freak me out.

TaiyoTsuki 12-20-2013 03:38 AM

I must be the oddball dreamer, then. I've never done any lucid dreaming, and I draw whenever I'm not reading or on here.

Pistachio_Moustache 12-20-2013 03:41 AM

You're not alone!
I've never had a lucid dream, and I'm the most artistic in my family! [Is that saying much? xD]
They've just become weird.

Nephila 12-20-2013 03:43 AM

Interesting. What type of art do you guys do? Have you ever kept a dream journal?

Pistachio_Moustache 12-20-2013 03:51 AM

I draw anime/manga and semi-realism.
Sometimes I can nail it with realism.
No, but I should.

Antagonist 12-20-2013 03:59 AM

I've thought about keeping a dream journal, but never bothered to start...[sweat]

My dreams are nearly always pretty bizarre and not realistic, like I rarely ever dream about 'normal' stuff like going to work, shopping, etc. It's always stuff exploding, monsters, zombies, laser beams, fairy land, etc. etc. [lol]

I only do manga style art when drawing. I can't draw realistic at all. [cry]

TaiyoTsuki 12-20-2013 04:08 AM

I tried keeping a dream journal...it didn't last.

As for the arts I do...I draw anime and manga style. I also do seed beading, play with yarn when I'm REAL bored, and baking.

Pistachio_Moustache 12-20-2013 05:03 AM

I LOVE to bake.
I also make polymer clay figurines when I have time.

xuvrette 12-20-2013 06:26 AM

I am open to all kinds of art, mostly draw anime and manga style, but when come to object, like architecture or landscape, I prefer real.

I don't remember my dreams clearly during day time, but when nightfalls, my body is preparing to sleep, the night time dream memory come back. It is like I have two set of memory hard drive, each access on different time. Day time memory started to fade away when my memory mode slip to night time. alternating like that.

So, some time when in dream, I totally forgot about who I am. If I am a certain character in the dream, I have all the backstory and know what to do what HAD happened. Those are the time that I am too engross with the dream, to not be able to control it bizarrely as I want.

oh, oh. I have a few repetitive dreams and also continuos dream, like watching a TV series.

I am too lazy to keep dream journal.
