Paint? Lexa is not good with paints. I'm not even sure how to paint with watercolours and stuff X_X I'm just not good with a paint brush. They are small and my fingers aren't as firm. I'm not good with colouring pages either, I tend to go out of the line most of the time [XD]

Ooh, painting might be really fun! There were some artists in my family and I used to try and be like them when I was little. I used watercolour the most and made some nice things, but that stops once you have to do well in school, or learn you can't survive on it for very long.
You've got to envy someone who can make a good painting. |
I just do digital painting, I do love traditional ones, but... they are messy... x.x

They're expensive, but not necessary. A synthetic haired brush does the exact same thing as some kind of extinct mammoth hair brush does--it's an exaggeration not far from the truth. And digital art can be just as expensive to start up if you were to really think about it. You need a power source, you probably need some kind of internet connection so that you can network and download any sort of programs, updates, or drivers. You also need the equipment itself, so computers and tablets, plus the drawing programs themselves. After that, you'd be hard-pressed not to find a hefty price tag.

For me, the computer is not all that expensive because computer is NOT just for art. it is multi purpose machine for me. It is my book, tv, radio, music player, working machine. <33
Synthetic is not cheap also. But I do prefer synthetic more... because it is more versatile. Unlike sable hair, which is only be used for watercolor. |
