Same here Ling 8)
The feel of pencils and pens are just too different to compare hahaha I love drawing/writing with both! Especially the nicer kinds +q+ |
I don't get how is small debt good for... what is this data profile? ?.?
I prefer sketching with pencil... then line with pen. |
@Rette Neither do I. I frankly think it's stupid. >3> I like to sketch with pen, but I am more of a digital artist. XD So I guess I prefer tablet pen! |
lol. It took time for me to get use to the hand eye coordination.
|
sameee here.
still happens after a long time of not using good ol tabby XDD i really want to try a cintiq out. +q+ |
think for me It wasn't much to adjust to my tablet because I did pixel art on a desktop with a mouse[not wireless]. Or Maybe I just adjust to things rather easily? |
that's a nice trait to have 8) oohh pixel art! i used to draw with a mouse in ms paint when i first started out.
i mean granted it only took me like an hour to get used to it ..haha..didn't really start producing any quality work for like a few weeks to a month XD;; shudders at old art |
I didn't really start showing or making any good art until well..now. [lol] And I've had the tablet for like..6 years.[sweat] |
Before tablet, I use mouse. and I am terribly slow.
Tablet helps a bit in natural flow and better posture of my hand. |
I agree. Though since I changed from mouse to tablet, Pixel art has been harder for me. That and I don't know where I should begin because I hated how I shaded. So I may end up starting from the beginning+ making a pixel workroom on menewsha. Once I make stuff though first. XD |
Pixel's final quality is not that bad by mouse. Since it is pixel.
But it is more to those other art final quality would be compromise if using mouse. |
With Pixel art, I recommend moving back to mouse. Do your pose sketch and that with a tablet sure, but for the actual detail work, a mouse is more accurate.
|
I can't use a mouse now and that would take even longer to get use to it and would be really confusing to keep switching back and forth from tablet to mouse. When you say sketch out a pose I assume you think I make bases and that is how I do pixel art XD I don't make my own bases so I don't sketch out a pose. I just draw clothes, hair etc. I use bases that allow to be used by the owners. |
I swap between both all the time. I do far to much other stuff to wear down my tablet with scrolling. Getting used to the difference is a good idea.
|
I can't multitask very well. And my mind is like a strainer. So I will forget the important things of how I got use to something very easily. |
Make it an everyday thing. Plug both in and swap as you go.
|
My USB plugs are picky. Soo sometimes one or two won't work. I think I will just work with adjusting doing pixel art by tablet. |
Or you can keep unplugging and stuff. That's always a plan.
|
That doesn't work at all. I always have to open my device manager and the one that isn't working when I disable and then re-enable it, it will sometimes cause my laptop to crash and restart all over. So I just prefer to use my tablet only. |
Well think f it when you do upgrade. It's well worth getting into the habit.
|
Like I said before. I can't multitask. I will forget how to adjust from the other and then I will have to keep relearning every time I switch back. So I prefer to use only my tablet. I don't really like using a mouse anyways. Tablet is much less stressful for me. |
I use both mouse and tablet.
Sometimes one of the device go wonky and sometimes they just work better in certain task. |
i like to draw the outline with a tablet for pixels
and then colors/shade in with mouse. easier for me on small scale.. ZOOMS INTO INFINITY XD |
You mention the other perk of digital.
ZOOOOOOOM! It helps a LOT. |
8I *zooms way out on piece as tall as my wall*
