William sighed as he walked with his dad and still didn't think that this was a good idea. yet his father was still going threw with this and he had to be the one to help. So far almost all of the beasts were dead but they were making threw that all the foxes were dead. Sighing William followed his dad as he marched further into the forest and looked for them. "do we really have to kill them, so far they haven't hurt any of us." William said as he looked at his father and frowned when he saw the Kitsune furs he had and was using as clothing. "of course, they are stupid creatures and will only stay like that. So we dont need them so we might as well kill them." he said as he marched threw the forest.

Meme ran along with her parents and siblings though soon watched them all die and she continued to run even though she was small and weak. She wished that she would just stop and let them kill her... but she couldn't do that, her family had wanted someone to survive and it looked like she was that someone. At some point she got stuck and started crying out in her high pitched pup yelps and hoped that a Kitsune would come up but she had a feeling that wasn't going to happen. She just hoped that someone kind hearted would come up and not kill her... she didn't want to die she just wanted to be safe even if she was forced to stay with the person or something. She continuously cried out and whimpered and yelped in her fox voice and truly hoped someone kind would come up and save her. She was young especially in her fox form... she was only a pup in her fox form even though her real age was 17... she hoped that that would help her... her young fox age.

William sighed as he followed and heard his father praising himself and shook his head, "dad I am headed back home. I think this is pointless." he said and didn't even wait for his father to say anything. He simply just turned around and headed out of there. He didnt' want to see anymore blood then he already had today. Hopefully a few of the kitsune had survived, he didn't want to be responsible for the extiction of someone. As he thought about this he heard something, it was a soft yelp and instantly he knew it ment that one was alive. Quickly he started to scan the forest and after a few minutes he saw a bit of red in the grass. Walking over he saw it was a fox and instantly he felt horribley. It was only a baby. "shu, everything is okay." he said softly as he bent down and picked the fox up into his arms. He handled the pup with care and he looked around to make sure no one knew he had her.

Meme yelped as she was picked up though was thankful as she had been untangled and since she was no longer stuck in that hole. When she saw who picked her up though she started to shake and whimpered at him some... she knew who he was... he was the son of the man that had ordered the killing of her kind so she was scared that he would kill her... even if he was holding her close like this. She looked around some for his father and could hear a voice in the distance calling a name and she had such a horrible sinking feeling that it was the males father.

William frowned when he felt thr little fox shake in his arms. "everything is okay, nithings is going to Hirt you." he said and could still hear his father calling for him. "I will met you at home." he called back and then set out to the castle. Right now he needed to keep her safe, if his father saw thefox now he would kill her. But once he calmed down he might let him keep this one alive. As he passed by a few guards he curled his arms around her. He had to keep her out of sight for now. After a little while they where in the palace and he relaxed. Looking down at the fox he smiled, "you should be Safe here for now."

Meme slowly started to calm down and just curled in the males arms and laid her head down on one of them closing her eyes a bit. It almost seemed like she was crying... which actually she was and it was known that kitsune could cry... they did have feelings like normal people... they were just different. She curled in his arms more as he hid her more from the guards though stayed that way even when they entered the palace and she looked up at him almost looking thankful that he had saved her. She then licked his hand softly as though thanking him and seemed better now that she was out of the forest where all of her family had been mercilessly murdered.

William frowned when he saw her tears and had a feeling that it was the only one left. It was all because of his caber and he felt responsible for all of this. As he walked into the castle he smiled when she licked his hand and saw her face. "I am happy that your okay." he said as he headed towards his room. It was one of the only rooms that seemed to look like a noraml room. That is if you didn't could the expensive bed. His parents wanted him to never forger that he was of royalty and all he wanted to do was forget. Gently he lauedthenfox on the bed and layed down besides her. "my dad is a idiot." he muttered softly

Meme looked around and was surprised the boys room didn't look more like a royals room but she didn't mind.... it felt more comfortable to know that he was just like everyone else even though he was royalty. she mewed at William softly then moved over and curled against him and purred a bit wanting to be close to someone nice. She looked up at him and almost seemed to nod when he mentioned his father being an idiot and she would definitely have to agree.

William sighed as he layed there and watched the fox. It was just a baby and he had a feeling that it's family was gone so he knew he couldn't just give her away. So he knew he had to keep her here, he just hoped his father would understand. He didn't want the whole kitsune kind die out, he hadn't even wanted ti hurt them but his father did. Sighing he gently stroked the foxes head then smiled when he saw the nod, "but being a idiot is good for us. It means there is a easier chance I can get him to let me keep you." he said as he watched the fox

Meme purred more then looked at Will and cuddled into his touch a bit liking that he would protect her and keep her from death.... she just hoped that he really could. She then more and climbed on-top of Will's chest and curled up there still purring but liking this closeness better.... Kitsune were known to be very cuddly and loving creatures so it really wasn't too surprising that she would chose then way that she would be the closest to him and that would happy to be curled up on his chest.

William smiled when he heard her purr and had a feeling he had just gained a friend. His fsther wouodnt approve but he would protect her. Chuckling he watched as she ckimbed into his stomah and curled up. "now then what should i call you?" he asked as he gently stroked her head and then heard foot steps and could only guess it was his father. "looks like someone is coming to say hi." he said and continued to stroke thr foxes head.

Meme let out a little almost yipping bark that was small and very cute. She then started to shake and jumped on the other side of Will and hid as close to his side as possible while staying out of the sight of the door. She whimpered a bit and shook as she stayed close to his side and her pinkish fir was just barely visible over his side.

King William frowned as he walked back to the castle then went looking for his son. He soon came to his room and knocked a bit before entering wondering what his son was doing. "I don't see why you just left like that... they're just stupid creatures so what? They're useless and a nuisance." he frowned then heard a whimpering and his eyes narrowed as he walked over to his son and saw the fir beside him. Snatching up the small whining vix he stared at her then his son. "WHY THE HELL IS THIS HERE?! Why would you try to harbor one of the stupid and useless creatures?!" he demanded tightening his grip on the scruff of Meme's neck making her yelp and cry in pain from the feeling her little body flailing and moving in pain and fear.

Will frowned when his fahwr came in and tried to keep her out of sight from him. But before he knew it his father held his fox in his hands ans was yelling at him. He didnt really listen though, all he heard was the whimpering of his fox and her cries. Before realky thing he jumped up and out oc bed, snatching her from his father. "they arent usless, not in my eyes. Bow dint touh her, she is mine." he said as he glared as his father and held her in his arms. Gentky he ran his hand over her scruff and smiles soightky when he didnt feel anything damaged. "if i recall you said that if anyine found a kitsune they could do as they wished with it. Well i am doing as i wish, i am keepin her safe." he said as he held her close.

The king was shocked when his son took the small fox from his hand and was about to yell at him before he heard what he said. "FINE! But you keep a collar on it and keep it in a cage whenever you're not with it, got it?!" Will's father growled darkly as he watched Meme calm down and curl in Will's arms closing her eyes a bit and letting him comfort her with his stroking.

Will smirked when he heard his father and cotinued to getnly stroke the fox. "no problem father and dont worry, she is going to stay by my side all the time." he said isnce he had a feeling that his father might try to kill her if she wasnt' close to him. He then looked down at her and was glad that she was okay. He then headed towards the door, "I am going to find her a collar right now." he said as he headed out of there. Once he was far enough he looked down at his fox, "what am I going to call you?" he asked as he tried to think of names that might fit a fox.

Meme cuddled up against Will feeling safe now that they were away from his father and danger pretty much. She looked up at Will purring some then stood on his arms and pawed at his neck softly though was careful not to scratch him. 'Meme' came a small voice though it wasn't like her mouth moved or anything... it was just that a sound came out though it didn't seem anyone else heard it... this was kinda why people thought the Kitsune were evil little demons.

Will was surprised when he saw her stand up and scratch as his neck. Yet when he heard the voice he looked around. He then looked down at her and remembered hearing that they could do something like this and smiled, "how about Meme? it sounds like a nice name." he said as he headed out of the castle and into town. When they saw him with the fox in his hands they all looked with disgust but he didn't let her go or care. When he got to a small shop that sold tags and collars he headed inside and started to look around for one.

Meme purred as she curled back up in Will's arms and seemed happy that he had heard her and knew her name now to be Meme. She then shrank away a bit from all the glares they were getting and whimpered some as she curled up closer to Will. Once they were in the store she perked her head up and looked around a bit seeing no one that actually seemed to want to hurt her... in fact there were a few in the store that actually had Kitsune's with them but she knew none of them.

Will kept his arms around her when she moved closer and made sure that no one wanted to hurt her. But when they got into the store he calmed down, it seemed that others were protecting Kitsune as well which was a good thing. He then started to look around and when he saw one he picked it up and looked down at Meme. "what about this one? it woudl look good on you." he said as he put it around her neck and hoped she liked it.

Meme looked at everything as Will looked around and then looked at the collar that he picked out for her. She barked softly yipping a bit when she saw the collar to show that she liked it and didn't struggle as she felt him putting it around her neck. She cuddled close to him feeling comfortable now and was really hoping that his father wouldn't try to hurt or kill her now.

Will smiled when he saw that she liked it and held her closer. "now then, why dont we head back home. It is going to get dark soon and I am sure that my dad wants me to eat with them." he said as he held her close and gently stroked her head. He then headed out of the store after paying hte man. He headed down the street with her and still people glared but he just stroked her head and made sure that no one could get close to her. She was his responsability and he wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

Meme purred as she rested in Will's arms and listened to him a bit barking softly at his words. Though she did have a bad feeling about this... if they killed the Kitsune... wouldn't that mean that they would skin them and eat them? She knew his father wore Kitsune skins so she only had such a sinking feeling that they ate Kitsune too. She whimpered and the thought and curled up more to Will shaking slightly at the thought.

Will frowned when he felt her shaking and pulled her close as he headed into the castle. "everything is fine, no one can hurt you." he said as he headed into the dinning room. The dinner had every kind of meat you could think of, even Kitsune. When Will saw that he frowned and shook his head. When a server came by he looked at him, "did you put out my usual and could you get something for Meme?" he asked and the server nodded before leaving. Will then headed down to his seat and there was no meat near him. He had dedicated himself to being a vegitarian long ago. He then smiled as he set down Meme next to him on the table.
