Atra frowned as she quietly and easily snuck into the castle and soon found her way to the royal chambers. He first stop was the closest to her and she was pretty sure it was the prince's room. It was mostly dark in the castle so she assumed that everyone was asleep... though she was abotu to be proven wrong. At this point she had taken it upon herself to kill whoever was trying to kill the Kitsune... and she had already killed quite a few that were not royalty. She crept close to the door and slowly and carefully opened it having no clue that the prince was actually protecting a young Kitsune.

Will stayed silet when he saw the door open up. A figure slowly entered the room and he knew it wasnt friendly. Slowly and quietly he moved behind the person and thrn gently placed thr knife on thr person neck. "if you move i will cut. Now tell me who you are and why your here." he said as he looked at the person. He thrn looked over at thr bed and was glad to see meme was still there.

Atra jumped a little when she felt someone come behind her then a cold edge to her throat and she dropped her dagger right away. "My name is Atra... and I came here to rid the world... or at least the town, of the people who wish harm to the Kitsune." she said quietly and started to shake a little at the thought of the man bringing down the knife and she just prayed that he didn't. However, she soon heard the familiar soft growling of a Kitsune and she moved her head ever so slightly to look over at the bed and to see a small, young Kitsune sitting there which made her calm some and feel a little better. "You also wish to protect them then... she's so young... how do you protect her from your father?" she asked quietly since she knew that this was the prince just by the look of the lovely royal bed in the room... and it was a royals room after all... there were only two in the house for all she knew at least.

Will listened to the girl and calmed down when he heard her. She wasn't here to hurt him if itment that she was only wishing to protect thr kitsune. When he heard her he smirked, "it isn't easy, he wants to kill her but I won't let him." he said as he lowered the dagger from her neck. He then headed over to meme and gentky picked her up into his arms. Gentky he stroked her head as he looked at atra. "and it is nice to met you. But I can't let you hurt my family, they may of destroyed the kitsune but it would cause chaos for the kingdom." he said as he looked at her and sat down on the bed. He then smiled down at meme as he stroked her head.

"Then how would the killing stop? They're almost all extinct now... they're being hunted and killed as we speak... I try to protect them but it's hard... and I have allot of blood on my hands thanks to it... but I'm not just going to stand back and let them completely obliterate the poor things... they have to be stopped and I'll keep fighting until my last breath." Atra said and you could tell she was being completely serious and that she would continue to fight until she either died or was killed... the second would be more likely though....

Will sighed when he heard her and looked at her, "but that isthe thing, you can kill all the people you want and still the kitsunes will be killed." he said softly as he stroked the head of meme. As he looked down at her he could feel the collar he had around her neck. Then a idea hit him and he looked at Atra. "my father said that whoever found a kitsune could do with them as they pleased. It was how I was able to keep meme safe. If we found people willing to care for a kitsune and find kitsune for them to take care of them. Then my father would have no rule under them." he said as he looked at her and smiled. "all we have to do are find people and kitsune." he said and hoped that they could find some kitsune.

Atra thought some on this and nodded. "Mkay... I'll start buying collars and finding Kitsune for them... then I'll start asking around though until then I can keep them in my backyard I think... it's rather big and it has a fence... could you maybe help me then?" she asked softly and hoped he said yes since it would take more then one person to gather them all... I just don't want to see them all die out ya know?" she said softly and really hoped that he would help her.

Will nodded as he listened to her plan and smiled. This might just work, if they could keep everythign quiet it could actually really work. When he heard her ask he smield and nodded, "of course I would help. I dont think you could do it all by yourself and I would really would like to help." he said as he looked down at Meme. he knew that she would like to see more of her kind if it was possible and if he found a better home for her he would he happy. She deserved a better home then this. Here she was always being threatened and he feared for her.

"Okay then, now, if you don't mind I would like to use your window to get out of here... I think the guards are at the door again and I really don't want to get caught." Atra smiled and laughed some then smiled again as Meme barked happily at her and she walked over to pet the young Kitsune's head.

Will smiled and nodded, "sure, go ahead. But be careful, the guards dont take kindly to intruders." he said as he looked at her and smiled when she came over and petted Meme. "I dont think I got to tell you her name. She is Meme and I found her when I was out with my father. He was trying to kill all of them but I managed to find her first and took her come. She hadn't left my side since." he said as he smiled down at Meme.

"I know... that's why I want to go out your window... unless you can escort me out then that would be better I think..." Atra smiled some then nodded a bit. "Kitsune are normally very clingy once they are either domesticated or are given love and kindness... at least that's what I've found." she smiled some and listened to Meme purr happily and thought that it was just the cutest thing.

Will nodded, "I think escorting would be better then you sneaking out. That way you wont have a chance of being killed." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He then smirked when he heard her and looked down at her, "well that would clear up why she wont let me go." he said and smiled when he felt her purr. He then smiled at Meme, "and I doubt I would be able to let her go. I have become very attached to her." he said as he smiled at her.

Atra nodded and smiled some. "and I can tell she is quite attached to you too." she smiled some then turned to the door. "Well... lets go then... I want to go ahead and get a head start on this... do you want to meet sometime to help?" she asked looking at Will and smiled some. "Ow... you know my name, now what's yours? I'm not sure if I've ever heard it or not." she asked softly and smiled lightly at him seeming happy right now knowing the prince was backing her up.

Will smiled and nodded as he looked down at Meme. He was glad that they both liked each other, it ment that they would be great friends for a long time to come. He then nodded when he heard Atra and headed towards the door, "yeah we should, if I dont father might get suspicious." he said and smield as he got to the door and looked at her. 'I am william but please call me will." he said as he looked at her.

"Okay Will, and thank you, this means allot to me." she smiled some then watched as Meme jumped off the bed and fallowed Will to the door which made her smile and want a Kitsune even more, and she would get her chance soon since she would be gathering as many as she could.

Will smield at her, "no, this means more to me then it does you." he said as he looked at her and then smield at meme. he then headed threw the door, "now come on, I dont want my father to get the wrong idea of you being in here." he said as he looked at Atra.

"You have no idea." Atra said softly then nodded some and fallowed Will to the doors then to the gate and was soon gone into the night off to start her work in finding the surviving Kitsune and hoped that she could. Meme looked up at Will then gave him a raspy bark and stood on her hind legs just as she always did when she wanted him to pick her up.

Will nodded and smiled as he walked with her to the gate. Soon she was gone and he was left there with meme. When he heard her bark he looked down and laughed. "okay." he said as he gentky picked her up into his hands and held her close to him. "now let's see of see if we can get some sleep." he said as he headed back I to the castle and to his room. Once there he layed down and set meme on his stomach. "hopefully we can find more of your kind. I don't want you to be the last one." he said as he looked at her.

Meme purred some then barked at him softly when he picked her up then when he laid down and set her on his stomach. She then curled up and listened to him and whimpered some at the thought before moving some and licking his face softly as though to thank him for trying to help her kind. She then just curled up on him and laid there waiting to see if he was going to say anything before falling asleep.

Will smiled when he felt her curl up on him and he gentky stroked her head. Laughing a little he then looked at her, "I am happy to help you and your kind." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He then stroked her head gentky and smiled, "come on, we need to sleep." he said and closed his eyes. Soon he was fast asleep and showed no signs of waking up at the Moment.

Meme seemed to smile as Will fell asleep and felt the urge to shift but thought it too soon to do that. So instead she curled up more and purred as she slowly drifted off to sleep and was thankful as she didn't have nightmares at all that night.

(oooo! I have an idea! what if he went to take a shower or something and left Meme in his room and his father came in and took her and tried to kill her or something and that's when she shifts or something? Or just really freaks out? X3 )

will smiled as he slowly woke up to find a purring kitsune on his stomach. Gently he strokes her head and just watched her. He didn't see how she was a demon or why his fsther would do this. But he was just glad he could have her. She was nice to have around and he liked to hold her close.

(mkay X3 though he would still try to kill her even more XD would you mind being him?)

Meme purred even more when she was stroked though slowly she started to wake up with a yawn. She looked back at Will and almost seemed to smile a bit as she moved to lick his face some and gave him a small raspy, happy, sounding bark before nuzzling him a bit.

Will smiled when he saw her eyes open and felt her lick him. He then stroked her head and smiled, "morning." he said to her softly and wrapped a arm around her gently. "I hope you slept good." he said and then realized that hhe had to take a shower this morning. Hopefully she owuld be okay for a few minutes while he was gone.
