Dear mr.Sandman
DEAR MR.SANDMAN,
---------- Name:Sabuku no Gaara Age:15 http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...k1Th3f5N4Jr6tD ((click link :p)) |
Name: Aysel Ai
Age: 15 Bio: Originally born and raised in the Amegakure, the "Hidden Rain Village", Aysel began training to become a ninja at a young age, like many other kids in neighboring Villages. However, particular to her village, she specialized in very strong genjutsu. Her powers have caused quite a few problems in her village, none of which completely catastrophic, but she's been known to have a few accidents when she was younger. Now, she's in complete control of her chakra and genjustu techniques, and is a skilled ninja, but her village is still wary of her presence. Therefore, her elders have made the decision to transfer her to another village, a village who they believed had more to fear than a girl with strong genjutsu abilities. Appearance: Aysel |
Gaara walked down the street with hardly a care in the world if the people around him gave him icy glares. He'd become very used to it by now. The people of this village hated him, and he hated them as well. They still managed to coexist some how. Gaara had long ago become in control of the sand spirit, but that made him no less a danger to the village. He himself loved to kill. It made him feel...nice...he liked to take the loves of those who hurt him badly. He had a wicker basket in his hand and was shopping in the markets for food. Temari had asked Kankuro to do it, but he had refused. Gaara had acctully voulentered, which had suprized everyone. They had no idea that he only went to get away from their constant arguing. He hated to listen to them bicker about petty problems. They always thought the little things mattered, like who had to wash the dishes and who had to cook that night. Temari usually won these arguments and Kankuro be stuck doing a large list of chores. Gaara never did anything other than keep his own room and bathroom clean. He didn't care if they wanted to live like slobs. He was happy to just stay in his own little room. He even had a microwave and a refrigerator so he didn't have to ear with his siblings. He got the food and bought a ton of cup ramen as well. It was really all he ever ate. It was easy to fix and was microwaved. He was now walking back home, slowly as he dreaded going back on the house.
|
Aysel walked down along the side of the road silently behind her escort, holding a scroll that was to be handed directly to the Kazekage, as had been ordered. They were her records, she was aware, but what she wondered about was what was included. Had they chosen to list her accidents as a child, or focus on her skill as a teenager? Nevertheless, here she was, a stranger in the Sand Village, and a sore thumb in the crowds of people they past. What could she say? The villages were simply not the same. She felt a fluttering in her stomach, and she decided it was homesickness, though she had had few friends.
However, something, rather someone, caught her eye. The people around her all seemed to turn in the opposite direction, quiet murmurs buzzing about as they glared at a red-haired guy walking down the street alone. Pausing in her steps, she turned to look at the boy, wide-eyed. He seemed harmless, with his basket of groceries and blank expression. Why were they all glaring at him? She watched him as she continued to walk again, almost staring, but in a curious way- far different than any other person present. If he happened to look her way, she'd smiled embarrassedly to be found staring at him. Her escort spoke quietly, "Quickly now, Aysel. We also need to find you housing." Sighing, she sampled, looking away from the boy, "Yes, sir." |
Gaara looked at this girl with mild curiousity. He knew she had to be a foreigner. She didn't seem afraid and he decided maybe he'd say hi. He was about to walk her way when two boys ran into him, knocking all the grocerys from his hand. He gave the most evil glare he had and the boys shivered. They were no younger than him, and much larger, yet still seemed terrified of him. He pointed to his belongings. "Pick them up." he comanded. It certainly want a request. One of the boys scrambled to pick up the stuff and the other simply said no. He smirked and sand flew in every direction. The boy made the mistake of trying to punch Gaara. His sand blocked the hit and then wrapped around his arm. Gaara mumbled the words "Sand Coffin." and the boy screamed in agony as blood spewed from his arm, or where his arm used to be. No one made an effort to help the wounded boy and he paled as he nearly bleed to death. The other of the two handed him his basket and he kept walking like nothing had happened.
|
Aysel again turned when she thought she heard footsteps coming in her direction, but believed she must've been mistaken when she stopped walking and turned to watch the scene unfold. Part of her felt bad for the kid that experienced the guy's wrath, but the other part- well, she knew how the red head felt, in some ways. Again her escort beckoned her, so she followed him along down the street, towards what she expected was where the Kazekage stayed. (Just gonna skip this part, unless you have any objections. xp)
A good twenty minutes later, Aysel again found herself in the darkening streets of the village, a map in hand as she tried navigating the foreign setting. She'd been told she'd be staying with a team he believed she would fit in with, that of Temari, Konkuro, and... What was that last name? Shaking her head, she sighed and continued on her way. Eventually she reached the doorstep to what she believed was the right place, "Here goes nothing," she mumbled, then knocked on the door confidently. Again, she had a scroll in hand, another note she had to act as a messenger for. |
Temari awnsered the door and saw a girl standing there. "You must be our new house guest...I'm Temari...You must be Aysel. We were told you'd be coming." A boy in a cat eared short walked in. His face had odd purple facepaint on it. "Hi! Welcome, I'm Sabuku no Kankuro." he bowed low. She she was pretty he thought to himself. Temari spoke agian. "We also have another sibling, Gaara, but he's in the shower. I have to warn you about him...he can be cranky and I'd advise you not to bother him. He's slightly homicidal." she cringed at the thought of Gaara. He may have been her brother, but he terrified her none the less. He was a heartless boy with porcilon skin and dark rimmed eyes. He also had bright red hair and no eyebrows. He was an odd charactor and almost didn't look real. A kanji that spelled love was on his forehead. He was standing right behind Temari as she spoke and she turned around. She was easy to run if need be. Gaara simply looked at her blankly and turned to Aysel. "Hello.." he said very quietly. "I am Sabuku no Gaara. The homicidal phsyco." he stared at Temari as he spoke. She looked scared shitless. "G-Gaara..I-I'm sorry.." she stuttered. "We'll talk about this later." he said gruffly. Temari didn't like the sound of that. "For now, get our guest settled. I'll make dinner tonight." Kankuro whined. "But Gaara! You'll get sand in the food!" Gaara turned to him. "I will do no such thing..would you like to try and stop me from cooking?" Kankuro quickly shook his head no. "You can do it." he squeaked and Gaara gave a small smirk before walking in the kitchen.
|
Aysel smiled warmly at the girl who answered the door, walking in once she was introduced. "Yes, Aysel Ai. It's a pleasure to meet you both." She bowed her head slightly in greeting, showing her appreciation for them allowing her to stay with them. Of course, the Kazekage was the one who'd arranged it, so it was really his fault, but she still felt grateful towards the three. The cat ears were perhaps a bit odd, she mused, but she decided they probably had a reason for being there. Every ninja was very different, as she was aware. At the sound of their brother, she didn't cringe, but instead took in the news with a grin, figuring he'd probably be more reasonable than she let on. They were siblings, after all, were they really supposed to get along?
As Temari spoke, Aysel looked behind her as the red-haired boy from earlier appeared, and smiled warmly at him. Despite the coldness about the siblings, she greeted him just as warmly as she had his siblings, "I recognize you," she remarked, then bowed her head in greeting once more, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Gaara." As she listened to the objections over Gaara cooking, Aysel hesitantly spoke up, following after Gaara into the kitchen. He'd told his siblings to get her settled, but she figured she'd be better off cooking instead- as a gift to her new roommates. "W-Wait! I would love to cook dinner for the three of you... As a sign of my appreciation. It's really the least I can do." |
Kankuro yanked her out of the kitchen and upstairs. "You gotta death wish lady? He'll kill you faster then you cam breathe! If he says he wants to cook, that means he REALLY wants to. He's never done it before, but Gaara doesn't do anything he doesn't really want to." Kankuro let go of her and saw he'd left a bruise in the shape of his fingers. "I'm so sorry!" he looked rather embarresed. Gaara was a scary person and he really hadn't wanted Aysei to die in the first hour here. "look, we really meant it when we said he would murder you. Ask anyone, it's not just his siblings." He shuttered. His brother really was a monster, not to mention a psycho.
Gaara reached up in the pantry to get a box of noodles. He wasn't a bad cook and had been slightly offended by everyone acting like his cooking would be terrible. Kankuro had said he'd get sand in the food! He couldn't belive thay called him mean when they were so heartless. He cooked some chicken and tossed it in teriyaki sauce. It smelled rather good acctully and Kankuro found himself drooling. Gaara added broccoli, carrots, and the noodles to the pan with the chicken. He also made sure they had some sticky rice and soup to go with it. He was pleased with his creation and screamed up the stairs for his siblings and Aysel. "Hey! Get down here! I'm done cooking!" it sounded rude, but hadn't intended to sound like that . He had set up plates full of food for each of them. The food was sand free and he was sure of it. Kankuro looked at his younger sibling oddly. Why was he acting so...human? |
Aysel let out a small yelp when she was suddenly yanked backwards by Kankuro, staring at him oddly as she followed him up the stairs. She look around the house from what she could see leisurely, listening to what he had to say about his sibling. When he stopped talking, she simply looked down at her arm light-heartedly, laughing softly. "It's alright, bruises are nothing," she remarked, and meant it. Honestly, she would be happy if all she got in one day, as being a ninja, was a bruise on her arm. Then, sighing softly, she grinned, "I guess I'll be more careful around him if you really mean it, but he doesn't seem so bad..." Her voice trailed off as the pleasant aromas from the kitchen caught her nose, a bright smile lighting up her face. "That smells amazing." Hearing Gaara call out to them, she swept back down the stairs gracefully and over to where he was plating their food. Looking at Gaara warmly, she smiled again, "Thank you for cooking! It's smells..." she looked over the food, "looks, amazing."
|
Gaara just stared at her for a second. He was very rarely complemented and it took him a minute to remember what to say. "Um...Thank you?" it sounded more like a question than a comment. He sat after the rest of then and they all began to eat. Kankuro made a mistake in finding a problem with his food. "O come on! You know I hate broccoli!" he looked at Gaara as he spoke. He was pissed off at the rude comment and stood. His plate fell to the floor with a crack. Sand flew at Kankuro who just couldn't stop with the insults. "Ok, now you really ARE getting sand in the food. The sand wrapped tightly around Kankuro's neck. "Then don't eat it!" he hissed as he hurled Kankuro in a random direction. Kankuro landed on his feet across the room. Gaara left the table and went up to his room. Temari glared daggers at Kankurko. "Thanks a lot Kankuro! The one day he acctully decides to sit with us at dinner and you ruin it!" Temari had asked Gaara every night for years to eat with them in the dining room, but he'd always eat in the kitchen or his room. She refused to look at her brother and instead talked to Aysei. "Sorry about that. Kankuro just doesn't know when to shut up. I wish Gaara would have just sand coffined his ass to hell and back." Kankuro yelped. "Hey! You want me dead!?" Temari laughed. "Sure Kankuro."
|
Aysel smiled and nodded slightly at Gaara's response, "You're welcome." Ass they sat, she waited for the others to begin eating before she did, smiling after her first bite. Not only was there no sand in the food, but it was delicious! Why hadn't Kankuro wanted him to cook? Of course, that was when her thoughts were interrupted by Kankuro's negative comments, her eyes widening at the rudeness as well as Gaara's action. It was mean to say things like that about someone's cooking, but it was a tad overboard to fling someone across the room like that. Sighing softly, she grinned at the two siblings, "It's alright," she said simply, not commenting on who's fault it was. In her opinion, it was both of them that caused it. "Are you alright, Kankuro?" Then curious, she hesitantly asked her next question after they'd responded, "Why... Why do you seem to be so afraid of him? I've seen him hurt people who've been mean towards him, but otherwise, he doesn't seem so bad."
|
Kankuro looked at her like she was unlearned. "He is a monster. He's made comments about killing simply to feel alive. He's a physco. Then he had a sand spirit, which makes him even more fuckin crazy! The kids just generally a homicidal freak." Temari glared at Kankuro. She had always been easier on Gaara. "Kankuro! Maybe he just hates you. You're always telling him what he does wrong and never have anything good to say about him." Kankuro gave a glare even nastier than Temari's. "He's EVIL! He doesn't have eyebrows either. Temari blew a fuse and tackled him to the ground. "Take it back!" "No whore!" "what did you call me?!" "You heard me! Whore!" "Bastard!" "Bitch!" "Dick!" Gaara came down the stairs in a slipknot tee and black skinnys. He also had a bag with the same pattern as his gourd. "Were are you going?" Temari asked him, rather concerned by his upset expression "Out." he replied curtly. She sighed and Kankuro had to say something. "Psh. I bet he's going to 'do it' with Lee. You know he's gay!" A vein pulsed in Gaara's forehead and Temari wondered if smoke might come out of his nostrils. "Did you just call me...gay?!" Gaara asked. Kankuro shook his head "Ah! No, no I'm sorry!" Gaara blasted Kankuro in the foot with some sand that came from the little bag on his back. It was a mini gourd, but in a backpack shape. It couldn't use as much sand, but it was good for a small bit of protection. Kankuro screamed as his foot throbbed. Gaara slammed the door and headed towards his hiding place. It was the last place anyone would expect to see Gaara. He had covered the love kanji with foundation and done the same with the dark circles around his eyes. He looked like a normal kid and he wouldn't be noticed at all. He had a fake ID that said he was 21. He made his way into a crowded nightclub.
|
Aysel sighed softly and shook her head slightly at Kankuro's rant, still not quite believing what he had been telling her. As Gaara came downstairs, she watched him, hesitating, as if to say something, but he left before she could manage whatever she had been trying to say. Frowning slightly, she then looked over at the siblings fighting, amused, but not wanting to wait around for them to finish. Bowing her head slightly towards Temari and Kankuro, Aysel stood from her chair, "I'll be back later." She then walked out the door quietly, looking around to see where Gaara was going off to. Aysel followed him somewhat stealthily, not bothering to mask her chakra or any of that nonsense- she didn't care if he noticed her following him. Aysel simply wanted to see if he was alright, since he seemed to upset.
Watching him walk into a night club, her eyes widened in surprise, not having expected that. However, she slipped on in as well, using genjutsu to bewitch the bouncers so she could enter. Looking around quietly, she felt suddenly very out of place. "Gaara?" she whispered, as if he'd hear her over the crazy-loud music and other people |
Gaara had relized an unfamiliar chakra following him. He didn't recognize it was his new house mates. A tall blonde girl grabbed a handful of his shiny red hair and pulled him to the dance floor. This wasn't new to him. Girls here were rough with boys like him. He felt at home here. He was unnoticed and felt like a part of the crowd. This woman was dancing all over him and causing him to act up a bit. He stepped behind her. It was his turn to yank on her hair. He pulled at her ponytail as they danced so dirty it could have been considered sex if they just lost the clothes. The place was dark and musky and Gaara was having fun. A small, sexy smirk was on his face and he dragged the woman to the bar. He had pleanty of cash and ordered her drink after drink. She was so smashed she looked like she might pass out. He whispered in her ear and she shivered. Gaara wasn't one to take home tramps, he only liked to get them so smashed that they amused him. Another guy took her home and Gaara had a few drinks himself. He always came here when hos siblings fought or he'd had a long, bad day. He had a couple to many shots and passed out on the bar. The tender laughed like crazy. His head had just banged down. With his demon, it took a hell of a lot more achol to get him tipsy and he had broke the bars record. The bartender was loud and showed way to much in her outfit. "That punks a partier ain't he!?" she laughed.
|
Aysel stared in shock as a woman grabbed him by the hair, a blush spreading over her face as they began dancing to dirtily. She eventually felt as if she were invading his privacy and went to sit at the bar by herself, accepting the drinks that a few guys sitting near her were buying, but not letting herself get carried away. It was a fun time, but she needed up denying their invited to come home with them, and didn't bother leaving them with her phone number. The next time she saw Gaara, he was passed out at the bar, making her frown a bit as the bartender commented such about him. Sure, he was a party animal, but she hadn't been expecting this kind of behavior. Yawning, she hopped off of her bar stool and went to pick him up gently, carrying him out of the club in her arms.
Unless he woke up by the time she'd walked them all the way home, she would simply kick at the door a bit, "Kankuro! Temari!" she called out, her arms full. Aysel really hoped they'd answer quickly, she didn't want Gaara to wake. He'd have a hangover from hell, she was sure, so she didn't want to disturb him. |
Temari awnsered the door and gasped. Her little brother was out cold in Aysel's arms. Temari knew Gaara did things like this occasionally when he was feeling down. She took him up to his room and laid him on the bed. She looked at Aysel with a look that showed the was sorry. "he hates it when me and Kankuro fight. I think he was upset about some other things too. He's not always like this. Only when he's depressed and feeling alone." TemAro felt bad for the boy. He was such a lonely soul. Maybe one day he'd find a friend.
|
Aysel frowned slightly when they opened the door, explaining what happened. "He was out at a nightclub... He ended up passing out cold at the bar." She then followed Temari to Gaara's room, watching her lay him down before sighing and grinning, "Well, he had quite a time... The women love him." she commented, now understanding why he'd disguised himself some. Then people didn't recognize him- and when they didn't recognize him, they didn't have a problem with him. Then frowning a bit, "Y'know... He kinda reminds me of how I was when I was younger." Then shrugging a little, Aysel yawned and walked over to where her things had been put. Pulling out a few knick knacks, a picture of her old team, her hidden rain headband, and a small jar with a piece of paper in it, she would look at them for a moment before deciding it was best to go to bed for the night. Changing into her pajamas, she did just that.
|
Temari decoded to watch over Gaara while he was unconscious. If he woke up alone he might freak out. He didn't really go in his own room very often. He was normally on the roof or 'out' he probabaly didn't even know what his room looked like. Temari had repainted it and organized it recently. It was black and blood red walls, a black celing, a gothic canopy bed and a small organ. It was the perfect room for an emo kid. She'd even covered the windows with slipknot posters. Gaara had always liked things that were dark and she hoped he liked this. She'd even put in dark cherry hardwood flooring. She was sitting on his bed and relized he was still in his clothes and even his shoes. She took it all off and threw it in a clothes hamper. She gasped as she saw parts of Gaara she'd never seen before. He had no scars or moles or even freckles. His skin was one solid color of porcelain. His chest was small, but not completely scrawny and she had to wonder if maybe he'd been working out. She smiled as he shivered from the chill of being completely unclothed. He seemed so human and vunrabke right now. She figured she better dress him before he woke up. He'd raise quite bait of hell it he caught her drooling over his body. She grabbed his clothes out of a few drawers and pulled them on him. She put boxers and a white wifebeater kind of shirt on him. He woke up in the middle of her pulling the shirt over his body and he looked rather disturbed. "What in all that is right are you doing!?" his voice was calm but that was usual. "y-you were passed out from cloning and I was just getting you in something comfortable."she stuttered. She was suprized when he just replied with a "Oh..ok.." he didn't seemed very angry. "My head hurts.." he whined and she frowned."Yeah..you had quite a bit of achol according to Aysel. Gaara's eye twiched. "She was following me!?!" he seemed a bit disturbed. Temari laughed. "She just wanted to be sure you were ok. She also said you had quite a few ladies after you." Temari winked. "Naw..I just bought them drinks. Girls know me over there. I buy them all drinks and ask for nothing but a good conversation." Temari had to smile at just how sweet her little bro could be. She knew deep down he was just a kid, not a monster.
|
Aysel was restless. She tried everything from fluffing her pillow to rolling over, to sleeping in weird positions, but nothing seemed to work. Sighing in frustration, she got up out of her bed, changed from her silk pajamas back into a kimono, and started unpacking some of her things in a quiet fashion. Her clothes, few that she had, her weapons that took up the majority of her luggage, a few scrolls to help with training, and the letter her teammates had left her with, bless them. She felt a tad sad, seeing their farewell in writing once again, but she set it aside, placing it under the picture of the three of them before putting the rest of her things away. Then, looking around the room in a victorious manner, she plopped down onto her bed, still not quite tired. Looking over at her alarm clock, she saw the time- just after four in the morning.
Groaning softly, she shook her head, getting out of bed once more to go downstairs and into the kitchen. An hour later, she was working like a maniac in the kitchen, though as quietly as possible in case the siblings were still asleep. She hadn't had the chance to make dinner, but she'd made a pretty large breakfast- tamagoyaki, broiled salmon, freshly steamed rice, miso soup, and a little dish of fermented soy beans. So, perhaps she got a bit carried away, but she had a lefty allowance and plenty of time at the market as it opened that morning. When she was done cooking, she set the table up, then went back into the kitchen to grab her homemade hangover remedy- hopefully, Gaara wouldn't mind that she'd made it. |
Temari laid down on the bed beside Gaara and stroked his hair lovingly. He looked kind of sick and she guessed it was from being so drunk yesterday. She started to smell food and picked Gaara up. He groaned in annoyance, but she ignored the protest. "I think Kankuro cooked." she frowned. It usually didn't smell very good of Kankuro cooked. She had Gaara cradled in her arms like a baby and he almost fell asleep. Temari say Aysel cooking food. It smelled highly delicious and Gaara's eyes opened to inspect the smell. He groaned as the light hurt his eyes and his head pounded. He must have been really fucked up last night. He hadn't had a hangover like this in forever. He closed his eyes and Temari sighed. He'd be misrable today obviously. She looked at Aysel. "He's so impossible!" she said to the new housemate.
|
Aysel would turn to face Gaara and Temari with a smile, amused by the sight of Gaara in Temari's arms as if he were a child, but not quite dumb enough to tease him for it. Instead, she greeted them both, "Good morning! I made breakfast with a few things I bought at the market earlier... I hope you don't mind." She would gesture towards the hearty meal she had set up on the table, then exclaimed, "Oh! I have something for you!" as she remembered what she'd thought of earlier. Grabbing a mug of liquid that looked rather like coffee, she would offer it to Gaara, "It's a homemade hangover remedy... It tastes kind of like sweet coffee, but the herbs in it are from the rain village, and they're pretty good at clearing your senses." Then noticing that the other sibling was missing, she look behind them, then back at them, "Er- Is Kankuro still sleeping?" she asked, hesitantly but expectantly.
|
Kankuro was right behind Aysel as she spoke. "Nope, I'm right behind you." he smirked at the sight of his little brother cradled on Temari's arms. "I'd half expect him to suck his thumb." Kankuro giggled. Gaara got a look that told them the comment had pissed him off, but he made no effort to move. He legs were draped over her arm and he looked sort of frail. "We need to get some meat on your bones little bro. You're getting a bit thin." Kankuro frowned. He really thought Gaara ought to gain weight. "Just because I'm not fat like you dosent make me sick." Temari sighed and took the drink from Aysel. "Stop fighting.." she scolded them and sat Gaara up. She gently poured the liquid in his mouth. He started feeling a good bit better after he'd finished the whole bit of it. "Thanks." he fel werid saying such a word, but knew it wad polite. He even gave her a little smile. Temari was about to pit him down but he glared at her. She rolled her eyes. "Fine..I'll treat you like a baby today. She spoon feed him breakfast and tried to smooth down his extremely untame morning hair. He already wore it spiky and unruly, but this was insane. She made airplane noises as she put the spoon to his mouth. He cocked an eyebrow. "What if I don't like airplanes.." she sighed. "Fine." she stopped with the sounds and just feed him. "Thank you Aysel they all said at once. It was weird how they hadn't even counted off to be together as they spoke.
