"Hmm. That is acceptable." Sesshomaru smirked faintly and pulled her a little closer, leaning down to nuzzle her throat gently. "Perhaps I should see why you enjoy them so much."

"I might have some good ones to lend you," Aura replied, tiling her head slightly for him. "Kris just found a few more hidden away, anyways."

"Mmm." Sesshomaru smirked and continued. "I think for that we should get back to our bedroom."

"I think so, too," Aura replied, leaning up to put a soft kiss on the underside of his jaw.

Sesshomaru shivered and growled quietly before he picked her up and carried her away to their room again. And locked the door.

Later, Aura sighed happily and snuggled in closer to him.

"I've noticed something lately," she said softly as she snuggled in. "You've been contemplating something lately, and I think I know what it is."

"Oh?" Sesshomaru looked down at her. "And what is it that you think I've been contemplating?" His lips twitched in a little smile.

"I think you've been noticing how Kris and Hisoka are with their girls," Aura replied, looking up at him. "I think you've been contemplating a daughter of your own."

"The thought has crossed my mind," Sesshomaru said after a moment. "Does that bother you?"

"No, it doesn't," Aura replied, stretching a little and settling in again. "I figured you've been contemplating it for a little while, at least."

"About a year," Sesshomaru said easily, resettling his arms around her so they'd both be more comfortable.

"Which means you essentially have everything planned out already," Aura teased, snuggling into his arms.

"Of course not," Sesshomaru said, looking down at her. "I was going to consult you as well." He smirked faintly.

Leaning up a bit, Aura gave him a kiss.

"Well, lucky for you," she said, "I don't think I would mind another pup around here. Especially a daughter."

Sesshomaru smirked and kissed her again briefly. "Is that permission then?" he asked, one of his hands sliding across her back lazily.

"As if you've ever needed permission," Aura teased, returning the kiss. "I distinctly remember Katsuro being a surprise."

"Sometimes planning ahead is a good thing," Sesshomaru murmured. "Besides, I wouldn't want it to be too much of a surprise this time."

"Then it's a good thing it won't be a surprise now," Aura replied with a bit of a grin.

Sesshomaru chuckled and pulled her closer. "Indeed," he murmured before he kissed her.

Aura let him pull her closer, and returned the kiss with a bit more enthusiasm.

Sesshomaru was briefly glad that the children were already asleep, shifting her so she was above him, kissing her again.

Aura was glad the children were already asleep, as well. However, it was impossible to miss the looks that Kris was giving her at breakfast the next morning.

Kris was both amused and slightly disgruntled. But oh well, it wasn't her business except to tease Aura.

"Hush, you," Aura said to Kris, grinning just a bit. "I know you're thinking it."

Kris snorted. "JUst because I'm thinking it doesn't mean anything," she said with great dignity.
