Youtube has been hacked in!

That's right I got a message from a friend of mine that someone hacked into youtube and is causing trouble. From what I know so far that the Sesame Street Youtube Channel and Fred's Youtube Channel have been hit very hard that their accounts have been removed from Youtube for the time being.
No word yet on what Youtube is doing to fix this but for those who have accounts on there be careful if you notice anything strange on your account or any other Youtube channels report them ASAP.

Did you make this post on Crysandrea too?

My university email is a google account (which they forced into a full account) so now it's also a youtube account. They could hack them and I'd giggle probably since they're the dumb asses that made it into a full google account so I can't be logged into youtube and my email at the same time D:

I heard about the Sesame street videos.... That amused me, but I didn't think it was all of youtube that got hacked. None of my subscribed channels have had anything.

KamenRiderNadeshiko 10-17-2011 09:28 PM

I heard about that. I had this image in my computer and thought it would make the perfect responce.

This is the first time I have heard it. Wow~ Hopefully they post up trolls or some exciting shit. xD I have an account but that's because I can't view 18+ videos if you're not signed in. D:

I only use youtube for music playlists, and I'm not subscribed to anyone, so hopefully I don't have to deal with any of it. >_>

From what I heard on the radio earlier, it happened over the weekend and things have been handled *shrug*

Yes I did I'm trying to spread the word to the messages boards that I know of and telling them this.

Yeah this post appeared on Roliana, Crysandrea, Ernya and here.
Don't worry. The hacker is just playing around. They were posting porn onto Sesame Street's channel and they pulled it down in 20 minutes.

Kalium 10-20-2011 01:55 AM

I never heard of this. Then again, I don't go to Youtube to watch Sesame Street. Maybe that's why I didn't see anything unusual.

Bearzy 10-20-2011 08:14 AM

Somebody tweeted about sesame street porn, and that's the only reason I knew about it.

Plateau 10-20-2011 07:02 PM

I heard -all- about the Sesame Street hacking. ;D That amused me greatly, it was all over my dashboard on Tumblr too, in fact one of my friends has the screenshot of one of the videos on his page.

Awh boo :( My daughter watches the Sesame Street channel on YouTube! I haven't heard about this or been on in a few days, that sucks. Why don't hackers find something more productive to do with their time, seriously...

Plateau 10-20-2011 07:52 PM

The channel is back up now, and I don't think it was down for too long. (: To be perfectly honest though...I found it funny... /shot

Anaxilea 10-20-2011 09:10 PM

I'm not a mom... but I still don't find it particularly funny that they hacked THAT channel, of all the ones they could have chosen.

I have a real "mommy mentality" that way. Troll me all you want - I'll find it hilarious. But by putting it somewhere that children could see it - where it really COULD ruin someone's childhood - that's taking it WAY too far for me. I would be FURIOUS if my kid had seen that.

Bearzy 10-20-2011 09:58 PM

Until now, that honestly hadn't occurred to me, because I thought of the sesame street channel as one of those "nostalgia" channels for adults. I didn't realise it was actually a kid's one.

Plateau 10-20-2011 11:08 PM

I always thought it was for childish adults (like me and my friends xD) too.

PrincessBane 10-22-2011 07:17 PM

Ah, trolls. The internet wouldn't be half as interesting without them.

sailor star rainbow 10-22-2011 07:30 PM

I read about it on aol.com I heard how ever hack in to the Sesame Street Youtube Channel. they put up porn video's took all the kids stuff off.

Ashlyn Mae 10-22-2011 10:53 PM

Eh, it's Youtube. Doesn't it get hacked once or twice a year? It's just people messing around because they don't have anything else better to do.

Marionetta 10-23-2011 04:15 AM

It's been happening a lot lately. I suggest changing your password every week. I have a YT account. So, I've been on my toes. BEWARE, PEOPLE.

Anaxilea 10-23-2011 02:30 PM

What really concerns me is that my Google account is linked to my Youtube account now. And it should concern YOU, too. If you're anything like me, your Google account is everything from your email to your social networking to your smartphone access.

B A B Y C O C K 10-23-2011 05:01 PM

Oh really? Haven't heard of it yet. Wonder how YouTube is doing recently. :0

They've made it necessary for everyone to do that. It's really irritating.

That exxplains a lot...
