A woman entered, quietly surveying the group with a bemused expression barely concealed on her masked face. The conversation, lively as it appeared to be, was what first drew her to the place. She felt inclined to wait until she was noticed before introducing herself, however, demure as she was. |
Hatter noticed the women with the mask, which he took to walking up to. A grin on his lips as he took his hat off blond locks, bowing to the miss as he held his hand out to her. "Bonjour maddemoiselle. How do you do?", he asked politely. |
It was not long before the host of the little party noticed her and came over. He seemed quite friendly (if a bit eccentric), and she was pleased at such a display of good-breeding when he removed his hat and extended his hand. |
Once her hand was resting in his, Hatter smiled before placing a small kiss on the mademoiselle's small hand. After so he lightly let go of her hand, standing up straight again. Placing his hat back onto his head. "That is wonderful and I am doing well myself, merci.", Hatter chimed lightly. Hearing her next statement, the hatted male chuckled. Nodding his head as he looked at his guests as well. "Yes, I have been blessed with good company it seems. For look, I now get to chat with you now, correct?", the male flirted lightly, smiling politely at miss Phantom. Seeing her lower her eye lids, Hatter took notice to the orbs' color. Finding them lovely, he spoke; "Your eyes, their a lovely shade of red. Which constant just beautifully when your black lashes lay against them.", noticing his boldness, Hatter chuckled, "Ah, excuse me, I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable. That was ungentlemanly like of me to flirt so boldly. Though I assure you, my words are true.". |
She was slightly taken aback by such a forward display, but caught herself before a frown could manifest itself on her face. Her appearance was a delicate subject for the young woman--perhaps "weakness" would be a better word. She spent much time and money on her looks and her clothing, but it never felt like enough. It mattered not how positive his compliments or well-meaning his intentions were; the woman still felt a slight aching in her stomach upon the realization that she had been "noticed." |
Sensing that he touched a soft subject, Hatter dropped all matters relating to her eyes, no matter how beautiful he thought they were. Hearing her next set of words, Hatter chuckled; "Maybe so? Though don't most people avoid the bold?", he asked, once he stop chuckling. |
"If they do, it is only because they fear being bold, themselves." She shook her head, her curls bouncing rather playfully against her shoulders, "..and few can stand to be reminded of what they fear." Perhaps it was the man's charm in combination with his boldness that drew others to him. She, herself, did not often take interest in "newbies" outside of the usual greetings and offerings of advice. Why did she linger here when this man clearly had all the help and company he could ever want (at least for now)? |
Hatter smiled widely as the mademoiselle commented on those who fear boldness. The hatted male was right when he knew he was going to like this woman. "Yes, I totally agree with you. For as they say; 'What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger'. Which I would greatly believe, a bold person is not much a threat to a life. The again~...", Hatter trailed off, a small grin on his lips, "People can be full of surprises. Though I would like to think I am not a threat.". He finished with a chuckle. |
"Well, if I believed you to be a threat, this conversation wouldn't be happening." She grinned, folding her hands neatly in front of her as she began to sway ever so slightly from side to side--a sign that she was very much at ease. |
"Ah, that is true, you do not seem silly enough to put yourself into danger.", Hatter smiled. Hearing her words trail off, Hatter's eyes widen. A small tint of pink coloring his cheeks as he bowed quickly to the miss. "Excuse my rudeness! I seemed to have been too caught up into our chat that I did not introduce myself!", he apologize, finally introducing himself, "I am Monsieur Hatter. You may call me Monsieur and, or Hatter. Or what ever you like, I do not mind.". He gave a small smile as he stood once again, embarrassed over his rudeness. "And to answer your question, I came here from another site. Sadly, some drama ruined the site for me. So I took up looking for a new one. Which lead me here, which I must say, I am grateful for. I rather enjoy it here.", Hatter spoke truthfully. |
She nodded slowly as she listened, "Yes, well..I'm sorry to hear that you were driven from wherever you came. I'm sure that you will find Menewsha a fine substitute--perhaps even a replacement, altogether." Her smile broadened slightly, "You seem to be a very social creatures. Mene's forums are quite active, so I sure you will find much to distract you here." |
"There is no might, mademoiselle, for this has already become a replacement. I left my old site months ago, I am longer active on it.", he explained, "And yes, I write. I also have already explored the roleplay section of this site. I thank you for your information, none the less.". He smiled, pointing down to his link, to show that he had already taken up quite a few roleplays. |
"Oh, I noticed that earlier.." Annette replied, looking away bashfully, "I was just trying to make conversation. I would request a roleplay of you, myself, were it not for the fact that someone has apparently already requested the very plot I was most interested in." She sighed, absentmindedly twirling one of her curly, golden tresses with a gloved finger. |

"J'ai très bein." Whim nodded, her face bursting in happiness. "Oui Monsieur Hatter. I took a French during my Sophomore year that I happened to love so much, but only a year. I always try to remember what I learned once in a while so I don't completely forget the language as I did with Spanish." She smiled thinly. "I will not lie I do use translators only to words I haven't learned since I am still only a French I beginner." She laughed being entirely truthful. "Oh that is fabulous to hear! I am truly happy for you." She cheered. |
Annette; "Ah, well for you, I might be willing to have one more roleplay of it.", Hatter smiled, "For, to be truthful, I take down plots I can not take any more of, so even if it is bolded, I leave some plots for I wouldn't mind maybe one or two more of it.". He explained, "So please, do not let that stop you.". "If I may be curious, which plot was it?", Hatter asked. "And some of my other hobbies are of sewing, cosplaying, painting and other art related hobbies.", the hatted male smiled, "And yourself, mademoiselle?". Bby-coco; "I am glad you like it.", Hatter smiled, patting the star-y eyed miss. "Ah, you do not have to do that, if you wish so, however then it would be interesting to know if I may of knew you.", he hummed lightly, eyes closed with his smile. Whimsical Sadist; "Ah, I am a man of French II.", he smiled, "I am currently in it right now. I rather enjoy it, my prof is a full fledged French woman. It is quite entertaining since she is in a desert, which is two hours away from Mexico. Ah, have you ever heard a French woman speak Spanish?". Hatter asked in the end, chuckling. |
"Oh, it was the one about the undertaker and the nun," Annette replied, her voice suddenly a little softer than before. "Forbidden or impossible romances always have me all aflutter, you see. I simply adore them.." |
"I do as well, why I tend to have tragedies of romance in my rolplays.", Hatter sighed, "Though I do enjoy the happy ending here and there.". Smiling, he nodded his head; "That is great, I will look forward to out chat.". "Oh? May I be curious to know what kind of art style you have? And what have you sewn before?", the hatted male asked, politely of course. He did try his best at being a gentleman. |

"Ah, I will spare you another rant and just say I have been better. (A warning, your profile might not be safe anymore).", Hatter added the last bit in a whisper, chuckling. "Oh? Which online game? And how nice, I just finished watching a movie with my father. Though almost at the very end I passed out of him, only to wake and catch the very end.", he smiled, shaking his head. "If I may be curious, what movie is it?", Hatter asked with a small tilt to his head, making his top hat follow his actions. |

I've been through a lot of rants already. *winks and laughs* ;> Ahaha silly, were you that tired? *chuckles in laughter* xD And it's DragonNest, an online game hosted by Nexon games. It's awesome. :> And umm it was a cartoon-movie entitled "Rancho". We were laughing hysterically since the protagonist lizard was so funny. Dang watching that movie just gave ma good laugh and stomach-ache. *remembers the parts of the movie that were so funny and laughs* xDD |
"Yes, but still. A proper gentleman should not rant to a mademoiselle.", Hatter smiled, "And yes, I took a heavy dose of pain killers. I am still surprise I was able to type semi-formal last night!". He chuckled, remembering how his mate said he was stumbling as if he was drunk. "Rancho? Hm, never heard of it, kinda sounds like Rango.", Hatter spoke, pondering. "By the sound of it, it was a very good movie, hmm?", he smiled, chuckling as the miss broke into laughter. |
"Oh, I simply scribble, mostly. I have no special computer tools or anything.." Her gaze wandered around the room for a moment, indicating that she was briefly lost in thought. |
