Polaris smiled softly at Sigurd as she jumped off the horse and felt a cold object around her neck. She looked down and seem that it was a chain and about for or five knight held her in place. "Ms. Polaris, you are to hereby remain in the dungeon until we decide you fate." the queen said as she and her husband stood there and watched the knights took Polaris to the dungeon. The King looked at Sigurd, "Did she harm you Sigurd?" he asked as he blinked and looekd at the Old Wizard, "I want you to go and talk to the beast, you're more experienced with magical creatures." he said as he and the queen walked back to their thrones.
Sigurd slid from the saddle right after Polaris, he turned to face her and then he noticed the chains around her. He stared blankly at polaris, then to the guards. As he heard the the queen speak his eyes turned to sorrow as he watched her slowly move off to the dungeon. He heard the king, though he stood looking at the door Polaris disappeared into for a while before turning to the king still in shock, "I-I'm fine, why did you do that? she was no harm to us." he said still in an almost daze due to what he felt as betrayal, he slowly followed the king and queen to their thrones looking for an answer to his question. "I Shall my King and Queen." the old wizard said as he bowed and walked slowly to follow polaris. As he walked down the stairs the air grew more damp and the stench of the dungeons grew heavier. He grabbed a torch and started to walk down the long rows of cells to the one he knew she would be in, it lay at he end of the hallway, and then down to a locked door, behind it was only her cell under the castle. As he reached the door he stepped aside letting the knights past and rolling his eyes as he heard them talking about what she looked like and exceedingly vulgar descriptions. He slowly entered the door and stared at the cell, "Hello, I'm sorry about the king and queen." he said bowing slightly as he placed the torch on a hook, making it the only illumination in the cell.
Polaris was walked to the cell in the darkest part of the castle, the room was large but smelled horrible. She was cained to the wall and the knights walked away, however her dragon hearing caught the words that made her shiver to her spine. Polaris looked at the ground as she tried to imagine what Sigurd was going through with the King and Queen. SHe closed her eyes untl she heard a familiar voice, she looked up and seen that it was the Old Wizard, "Sir Wizard. At least I know two humans that are here to speak with me. Please, is Sigurd ok? Is he going to be punished?" Polaris asked as if she was pleading. She started to move closer but the chains starts to bruise her skin, making her lean back into the wall.
The old wizard smiled and bowed slightly to Polaris, "Sigurd will be ok, the King and Queen believe he went after you to bring you back not to save you, hes a special boy and hes attached to you for some reason, but he will be fine the King and Queen dont know who or what he is." the old wizard said as he sat down on a chair looking at Polaris. "So why if your all powerful did you allow your self to get caught?" he asked as he looked at Polaris and rested his head on the gnarly staff he walked with.
Sigurd stormed out of the King and Queens meeting room and ran down to his room, he mumbled to himself as he growled slightly, "She didn't do anything wrong." he said to himself before he stormed off to the smithy, it was the place where he felt the safest and where he could blow off steam. As he reached the smithy he immediately started to pound out steel for a new sword. |
Poloaris looked at the old Wizard and smiled as he started to speak with her and sahe that Sigurd was ok and that the King and Quenn weren't going to hurt him. "That is wonderful to hear. I would be sadi if something happened to Sigurd." she said as her smile slowly went away and spoke in her gently human voice. "I got caught so I can prove that I am not the one doing these killings. I may be powerful, but I must gain the humans trust just like anyone else." Polaris said looking at the floor and scratched her back on the wall, "Um, when you walked pass the Knight that brought me down here, did you happen to hear what they said about me. I understood most of it but their footsteps muffled out the rest." she asked in a sweet voice crossing her legs and hoped that Sigurd would see her soon.
The old wizard shook his head lightly, "I understand what you are doing and why you are doing it, but it wont work well, they will assume you sent this new person, and as for what they said it was basically descriptions of you and what they woud do, nothing an old man like me should ever say." he said as he looked down and then smiled, "Sigurd, i hope will come visit, but be careful, judging by his reaction and what i know about him, hes not in a very good mood at the moment." the old wizard said as he stood up, "Polaris, if i may call you that, why is it that you dont just attack what is killing people and save us it would give you just as much fame as announcing yourself." he said as he stretched and hobbled towards the door.
Sigurd furiously worked on the blade taking everything he had learned from the smithy and then some things which he had learned from books that he had read. He shaped the metal over and over he carved the sword making it into a barbarians sword, he was even looking at how he made the sword instead he let instinct dictate what the sword looked like. |
Polaris shivered a little at the thought of what those Kinght could do to her. But her attention was taken when Wizard said that Sigurd wasn't in a good mood, she looked up and bite her bottom lip as she looekd around a little scared and worried for him. Polaris looed at the Wizard as she asked her a question, she sat up a little and answered in a gently voice "It's not that simple Old Wizard. I have to first find out what it is first and I can't find it because it is out of my juristiction. Someone else created that monter that killing the humans. Also for announcing myself, what will I be accomplishing, I'm the Elemental Dragon, I'm meant to be allow as I always have." she said softly crossing her legs and looked away, "Good night Sir Wizard and tell Sigurd that I said good night." she said softly as tears rolled down her face and looekd at the ceiling.
Jack, the blacksmith, heard strange pounding in the smithing area, he walked in and seen Sigurd working on a sword. "Sigurd? What are you doing? Why are you making a sword this late?" he asked tilting his head and he sat down and waited for an answer. |
The old wizard smiled as he looked at Polaris, he moved slightly to the door and nodded, "I will tell Sigurd good night for you when he retires to his room, now i suggest you get some rest before the king and queen start questioning you." the old man said as he opened the door and made his way out of the cell. He took a long time to make it back to the rest of the castle, he was afraid that Sigurd would get himself into trouble.
Sigurd pounded the metal throwing the sword from the furnace to the anvil over and over, he didnt even turn when Jack came in. "Im making a sword cant you see that?! Its not right for them to do it, she did nothing wrong!!" he yelled back at Jack. He wasnt angry at Jack, but he kept working trying to not screw up. As he put the sword back into the furnace he accidently slipped and his hand ran along the edge of the blade, the combination of heat and sharpness cut his arm hand open cleanly bleeding all over the blade as it went into the fire, the metal sucked up the blood causing one side of the sword to turn red compared to the normal metallic tint it always had. "Ahh.." Sigurd said as he gripped his hand and looked at it. |
Jack gasped lightly as he ran to Sigurd's side and pulled him away from the blood stained sword, "Sigurd, stop. I have to fix ya up. You know better than to use your anger to make a sword." he said cleaning the wound and ran to take then sword out of the fire and looked at the sword. It was both blood red and steel color, a strange pattern, but Jack put the sword down and started to bandage the wound.
Polaris nodded to the old Wizard as he left and she closed her eyes. She was sleep for about a few monutes when she heard someone come in the room. She openeed her eyes and seen a knight coming with a set of keys in his hands, Polaris started to panic a little and looked at the Knight "Wh-What is it that you want?" she asked shaking as the Knight opened the cage and started walking closer to Polaris, "Poor Ms. Elemental, I wonder what would happen if I had my fun with you?" the Knight said as acreep smile appeared on his face. SHe backed to the wall. "Get out of that human's head! He has done nothing to you." she screamed as the Knight suddenlt grabbed her shirt and ripped the top off. "You can't control me Dragon." he said laughing and started to rub her breasts and Polaris screamed loudly. |
Sigurd sat down frustrated at Jack as Jack started to lecture him and wrapped his hand. "Jack I'm not just making it of anger, im making it of instinct, and ... and blood i guess." he said looking at Jack and then his hand. He looked at the sword and its peculiar coloring now, he didnt know why, but the sword looked right and it looked some how perfect to him. He looked at Jack and shook his head standing up to get to work with the sword again, suddenly he froze he swore he could hear a scream but from where he didn't know. As he stod there he felt a single pule in his shoulder as he heard the scream again, his instincts kicked in and he grabbed the un finished sword. The sword hadn't been sharpened or finished, it was enough though as he ran out the door and down to the dungeon. He didn't think anything as he ran down the hallways into the dungeons, he could hear something in the end of the the hallway and he ran as hard as he could shoving guards out of the way as he ran. He reached the end and ran his shoulder into the door, he rebounded as it didnt budge and he got up and ran to hit the door again. This time the door gave and Sigurd came crashing into the cell falling down against the bars of the cage.
Polaris continued to scream and blush as the possessed Knight continued to play from her breasts. He then started to run his hand down her thigh until he was disturbed by a sudden noise. Polaris looked up and saw someone that smacked in the bar, "Please help me!" she screamed then gasped lightly when she saw that it was Sigurd. "Sigurd, please help me. This knight isn't acting right." she said and started to moan softly and thrash around as the knight continued to rub and then stand up slowly and glared at him.
Sigurd shook his head dazed from the head long crash into the bar, "Oww.." he murmured as he started to get up, he could hear Polaris but he wasnt all that sure about where she was. As he turned around he noticed the knight and all that he was doing to Polaris. His eyes went an extremely light blue as he raised his sword and looked at the knight, "Die!" he said as his left arm holding the sword exploded in electricity. The blue lightly flowed down his arm into the sword as the blood stained side suddenly glowed bright blue. The blade cracked with electricity before a concentrated burst of lightning shot out straight at the guard.
The knight hissed as a barrier appeared around Polaris and himself, “Scram kid. You humans need to learn how to mind your own business.” The possessed knight said grinning and walked out of the cage creating a fire sword. Polaris panted abd lifted her knees up to cover herself up and closed her eyes tightly. The knight hissed as he lunged at Sigurd creating a firey wall around himself, “Human, you will die!” He snarled and laughed aiming the sword out.
Sigurd's eyes blazed with lightning blue light as he looked at the knight who stood in front of him, "Leave her and i will let you walk." he said with a stern voice, though the knight obviously didn't take his warning. He watched the sword of fire appear and took a step back raising his sword up in front of himself defensively, as the man lunged he took a step to the side and let the fiery blade go past him as he brought his own sword down against the shield. He was fighting no more on actual thought, it was all instinct, the Wizard had always said that he was a natural, like some one who was born with a weapon in his hand. He watched as his sword deflected against the wall of fire and the blade hissed slightly still not dry or finished. He took a breath and raised his sword again pointing at the knight, "Leave, or die... your choice." he said standing now inbetween Polaris and the knight, "I know you are not what you seem, but all of us have secrets." he said as his ragged stable boy shirt rustled slightly the torn ends fluttering as the breeze from the dungeon corridors ran through he holes that riddled it. The only thing that seemed to keep it together was the belt made of twine that made it cling to his body as he stood there stead fast not moving, protecting Polaris.
The knight hissed as his true form emerged from the human disguised, a large Serpent. "You? A mere human change me? Do you have any idea how many humans I killed before you were even though of!" He hissed swaying from side to side glaring at Sigurd with hated red eyes. Polaris panted heavily looking at the ground as she closed her eyes tightly so she wouldn't see the snake.
Sigurd looked at the slithering beast and shook his head, "That may be true, but that doesn't mean I won't kill you, and I will not let you touch her." he said closing his eyes for a split second. Sigurd took a slow deep breath, in head head it lasted forever, though in reality it was just a simple second. As he released the breath he opened his eyes, though they now burned anew, the air around his body cracked with electricity as he lifted his head slightly and exhaled the last of the breath. His gaze focused on the serpent, and he spoke, his voice low and measured, "Leave... last warning... or perish." he said, as the electricity in the air started to become visible points around him connecting in small flashes of lightning.
The Serpent hissed evilly as something caught his nose, a scent. He glared at the human, "You're lucky human, I have to go now, but I will sssssee you ssssoon." He hissed slithering away quickly and vanished in thin air. Polaris started to breathe heavily as she looked up to see Sigurd. "Wh-Wh-What are you?" She asked in a shaky voice looking away closing her eyes tightly.
Sigurd watched as the serpent slithered into the darkness disappearing into the nothingness down the hall way of the dungeon. The small voice behind him made Sigurd turn around his eyes calming, the bright blue dulling and changing back to his normal color. "Polaris... are you alright?" he said as the electricity around his body disappeared and he looked like the young servant again. He dropped the sword and knelt looking at Polaris questioningly, "I'm a servant here... nothing else really... i do what ever my King and Queen ask, be it blacksmithing, or cooking, or cleaning, or helping the wizard." he whispered lightly.
Polaris looked at Sigurd and smiled softly as she looked at the floor again, "I see...Sigurd." She said looked back up at him and tried to lean forward but her hands were chained and her shirt tattered exposing more than she was comfortable with. Polaris kept her knees up and thought to something, "Sigurd, please. Do you think you can get these things off me?" She asked moving her hands and arms weakly. Polaris was losing her strength to stay awake and her strength to stay in her human form, she had to get out of it and be in her dragon form until her strength was going to restore itself.
Sigurd looked at Polaris for a minute and as she moved he blushed and looked down at the ground nodding to her as he listened. He stood nodding again and then he moved over behind Polaris picking up the sword as he moved, looking at the chains he looked at Polaris and sighed, "Lean against them to make them tighter, it will help." he said taking a deep breath. He raised his sword up and swung a flicker of lightning ran through his sword as he connected with the chains breaking the links, though a light shock ran up the chains to Polaris. After the chains broke he turned and walked to the door holding it open, "I guess.. you should leave, I hope to see you some time in the future if i ever get free from letting you go." he said bowing his head lightly and waiting for her to escape.
Polaris nodded as she leaned forward and relaxed as the chains broke apart from Sigurd's sword. She jumped a little as she felt a small shock on her wrists and she slowly started to stand up, using her magic to fix her clothes. "Thank you Sigurd." She said softly kissing his cheek and walked to the gate, "Don't worry, I'll make it look like I escaped." Polaris said softly as she started to hover in the air and waved to Sigurd before flying through a wall like a ghost, turning into her dragon disguise as soon as she was outside.
Sigurd nodded silently again he sighed knowing that she could make it look like she escaped, but he was still stuck here in the castle dealing with the King and Queen. His eyes softened as he watched her walk past him and float through the wall, as she did he sighed letting his head bow before he closed the gate behind him and slowly walked down the corridor. He could hear commotion out side the dungeon door and opened it seeing guards scrambling down the stairs towards him, "Shes gone.. i was coming to say good night and i saw the guard on the floor, when i ran to her cell... she was gone." he said clinching his sword knowing he was lying, but in a way making sure she could get away. Sigurd pushed past the guards as they ran towards Polaris's cell and walked slowly up to the blacksmiths shop. As he reached it he slowly entered still lost in thought as he put the sword back into the furnace, "A blades no good till its done." he whispered, a line he had heard a million times working here. The fires of the furnace blazed once more and the cold steel heated as Sigurd went back to crafting the blade stained with his blood.

[hope u dont mind a time skip, my brain is deadish XDD]
{time skip, a few weeks} Weeks had past since Polaris was in he castle and seen Sigurd, she bit her bottom lip worried that he was angry at her for leaving. She was in her true dragon sitting on top of the mountain she lived on. Her silver scales shone in the sunlight as the light blue and white straps crossed over her belly and her joints. Three large spikes on her sides of her lower body, where her legs would be if she let them out, rested seem to keep her from touching the ground. Her wings were like large light blue streamers flowed around her as the other dragons watched over the humans. One of the dragons, De'Ron, walked to Polaris and bowed his head "Your Highness, the humans have gone to far. How could they blame you for killing them, I say we go down there and show them what happens when they miss with us." He growled glared at the humans from the mountain, "We can not blame them, they're humans. Short-lives. They are still young, they will see that the creature is not our leader and will soon as for forgiveness." Stephania said in a tender voice, glaring at De'Rom. "But we can not-..." "That is enough." Polaris said as she floated close to where De'Ron was, "I know what I am doing, I will figure out what is going on and who is behind this, that I guarantee." She said jumping off the mountain and started to fly back to Genesisa, hopefully to see Sigurd. As she flew over the town, the people started to panic and shriek, the shadow of a large creature was looming over head and everyone ducked for cover as Polaris watched them. |
[Sounds good :D]
Over the last few weeks Sigurd had finished his sword and returned to normal duties at the castle, he had never forgotten about Polaris and he wished he had been able to go with her, though he knew that he had to stay where he was. in the few weeks that had past he had trained using the sword, though he had never felt that tingle he felt that day when the sword sparked in electricity. So instead he just trained trying to get better with it and to make himself better at everything he did. He had even started to work on armor, which the Blacksmith was helping him make, it wasn't anything special but it would protect him in a pinch. A simple chest piece and pauldrons was all he had gotten too, but he was great full for what the blacksmith had done to help. He was in the kitchen when he heard the screams of the people in town and immediately he thought something bad was happening. As he ran from the kitchen he heard the yells of guards and they were saying that it was back. As he exited one part of the castle that lead to the Castle wall he looked out, first he saw the shadow and squinted as he raised his gaze. As he looked up and saw the dragon he reached into his pocket and clenched a small figurine he had created the first sleepless night he had had when Polaris disappeared. |
[yay XDD]
Polaris landed on the ground as she watched the humans run into their house and one human get grabbed by something. She eyes widen as she roared loudly, "Halt! Don't you move creature!" She shouted flying towards the human but saw something else. A creature holding the human by the neck in it's mouth. Polaris jumped back as she glared evilly at the creature, it grinned and dropped the human as it started walking around in a circle. "Well well well, if it isn't the High Queen of all the creatures, Elemental Dragon Polaris." He said licking his lips and circled Polaris. Polaris grunted softly moving in a circle to stay away from the creature, it was horrible looking. Something she never created, "My name is Glauxin, a cannibal from Retara." He hissed in a gurgled voice, Polaris remained silent grunting softly thinking to herself shaking her head slowly, "Retara? That's impossible, I destroyed that place a long time ago to protect the humans from your kind." She hissed and knew in the air a little seeing the dead human then Glauxin, "We live Polaris but you will pay the price for trying to destroy us!" Glauxin roared lunging at Polaris as he clawed at Polaris, scratching her skin deeply as she flew into the air and smacked Glauxin into a tree and she started breathing hard. |
