L began to eat his chocolate cake as he read the newspaper in his room and wasn't surprised to hear about a massive shooting in the park close to where he lived. "I wonder what caused it..." he said and continued reading.

Light sat in his living room, watching the news on TV. They were doing a report about some shooting in a park. He hated when things like this happened and wished that the crime would just stop.

L continued to read the paper and put it away when he was done. "Such a shame....innocent people dying because of other people's decisions." he said and shook his head. Once he was done with his cake he washed the plate and fork and went to his room where he had a notebook filled with incidents that had caught his eye. He quickly cut out the shooting at the park article and pasted it into the notebook.

Light sighed as he turned off the tv and stretched. He grabbed his phone and wallet before heading out for a walk. He needed some fresh air as he tried to think of a solution to the problem of crime. |
Le threw away the cut up news paper, grabbed a cookie and then went outside barefoot and saw on the front steps of his house thinking about the crime. "So they were just really drunk when this happened....see this is why drinking should be illegal for all ages..." he said and sighed as he munched on his cookie.

Light ended up finding a notebook that claimed to be able to kill people. So, naturally, he had to try it out. When it worked, he freaked out, but then he realized that he could use it to stop crime by eliminating the criminals. It was the only way to get it all to stop.

It began to get dark. "I should really get some sleep..." he said as he headed to his room and looked around at the mess of books he had. He then sighed. "I should really get organized..." he said before crawling into bed and sleeping.

After Light realized the power of this notebook, he couldn't stop himself from beginning to kill the criminals. After all, when you want something done right, then you do it yourself.

L began to notice a strange string of deaths of many criminals. But the odd thing was that no one knew who the killer was. "Well this is interesting..." he said as he read the paper and turned on the TV to watch the news.

Light felt good about killing the criminals. Sure, murder was a crime. But, he was cleansing the world, after all. So, that made everything alright. He made sure to kill a few people each day, at least. Wouldn't take to long for them to get the message to stop committing crimes.

He watched the news and listened carefully as he began to think of possible people that would be doing this. "What criminal, would want to kill every criminal out there?" he asked himself as he sat barefoot on the couch and watched the TV.

He really was enjoying this. The people were getting the protecting they needed. Best part was, his dad was a cop and he didn't even realize what his son was doing. And even though he was doing a good thing, he wouldn't really accept it. So, he had to make sure he never found out. That nobody ever found out.

"A psychopath could be doing this...after all...none of the criminals that have dies yet were psychopaths..." concluded L. "Whoever it is has L on their tail....and they better be careful L misses no detail..." he said smiling.

Light soon learns that the police force were working on the case. He instantly offered to help, after all, what better way to figure out what they know. But, his father wouldn't let him. Said it was to dangerous. He knew that he would figure out a way to get on the case though. So, he wasn't worried. Nobody would figure him out.

When he was done watching the TV he decided to shower and slipped on some light blue jeans and a long sleeved white shirt. He then walked barefoot to the kitchen to grab himself some ice cream cake and think about this new criminal who wasn't showing their face.

While he was waiting to be included in the investigation, he met the shinigami, Ryuk. Sure, he was annoying, but he was easy to ignore. So, that's what he did while he continued cleansing the world.

A lot more deaths began to appear as the death rates became higher. But what could he really do? He had no clues as to who it could be. "Whoever it is does this swiftly and in a clean manner to make it harder for him to get caught. Smart...very smart." he said.

He felt good about himself. The world was becoming a safer place. He knew that nobody would be able to stop him. And why should they? He was helping people by eliminating those that threatened his new world.
