Ari slunk through the door of the old house. Stopping when her foor hit an creaking board. She raised her gun. She'd been certain the human had run in here. She stood still as she listened for the breathing. Smiling slowly and wickedly, she moved quickly across the floor into another room where the human was hiding. She crossed the room and grabbed the mortal. He was the last of his line, just one more hunter family wiped out.

Grabbing him, she let her eyes flash.

"You will be killed, monster," hissed the human.

"That may be, but not by you and not this night," she twisted his head to the side and let her fangs slide out.

"I curse you then, only those creatures who live will ever be able to leave this house," he spat out as her fangs slid into his neck and she drained him until he fell limp in her arms. Tossing the corpse, she turned and headed back toward the front door. She pulled it open and walked right into a solid wall.

"What, the hell?"

Charaa had not slept well. He had awoken several times during the day by noises, that sounded vaguely like footsteps. Once he swore, he could hear some talking over his resting place. He sighed, while reaching over and grabbing his tall glass with surprisingly thick, red liquid in it. He swirled it around the glass a few times, before chugging it down.

It wasn’t like the inbred, royal blood, he fancied. It was more common, from some nobleman’s son. Another thing, that had made his mood turn sour. The other was the fact, the he had been disrupted in his try to rest from his last trip to that northern coven. Oh, and the fact, that where his eyes should have been, there was this intense burning instead.

His reminder from a brilliant huntress, which sniffed her way into his lair and decided to pour holy water into right eye. He still wasn’t sure why, but she’d paid quite a price for it. But the happening was the reason for the eyepatch, he always wore, with the shield of the Koro family. A royal family, where he’d been the crown prince. Until he got turned, that was. The family was long gone, but Chaara still excisted.

His shoulder-long, red hair was held back from his femine face with a thin leather-string. The other eye had a startling green color. His body was long and slender, and his hands was currently playing with the ring on his left ring finger.

As a sound from above entered his ears, he frowned and rose. He’d chosen to take residence in an old abandoned mansion. Well.. not as abandoned as he had hoped. He walked up the stairs from the basement in time to see another walk into a wall.

”Heh. I didn’t think there was possibly any reason for why I should question your intellect more than I already do. Seems like I was wrong, Arizona Aurora Lee Morgan,” Chaara Koro said, before walking towards the wall, and putting his hand against the wall.

“Seems like some sort of sealing spell. Been hunting humans too far out of your league again?” He sighed. “Seems like I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. And I really was looking forward for the peace and quiet.”

Ari cursed again when she heard that sarcastic demeaning tone from behind her. It was bad enough the gypsy had trapped her in the house, but with him of all people. She really didn't want to turn around and look at the patch that remined her of her failure as a huntress, but the regal smirk always made her want to take a swipe at him.

Closing her eyes and pulling from a place deep inside her she controlled her rage. Turning she smiled sweetly, though they both knew it for a lie. With a flourish learned in the great courts of Europe, before the fall of Nepolean, she bowed to him.

"My lord," she said as the intensity of his remaining eye hit her like a ton of bricks. She'd been turned centuries ago, but never had she seen an eye so intense in it's color. Her eyes skipped over the patch, the feeling of failure heavy on her chest. "I must say I am surprised. I never expected to see you in my neck of the woods again. Decided to go slumming with us more...common bred?"

She'd already realized the spell, but frustration had kept her slamming into it. Not waiting for a response, she ran her fingers through her short hair, dyed purple this year. She had fallen in love with the idea of dying her hair different colors when she'd seen her first "punk-rocker"and had been following the fashion since. She tried to maintain a bit of professionalism and choose darker colors, but every once in a while she would go with a screaming pink or green.

This was so not fitting in his plans for the near future. Still, he had to give the humans credit for this seal. It seemed strong. He tried scratching a little on the ’wall’, but all he got was a short pain, and as he pulled his finger away, it seemed scorched and gave out a small puff of smoke. He rubbed it a little and watched as the damaged skin got restored, before he turned towards the vampire huntress again.

She wore that fake smile again. It annoyed him greatly. Everything about her seemed to annoy him these days. He couldn’t remember if it was something she had done, or if it was just the very core of her, that annoyed him. He remembered seeing her as a new-turned, but couldn’t seem to grasp, if his dislike already had begun there. Well, it didn’t matter anyway.

As she began to talk, he lifted one corner of his mouth in a lazy smile, which revealed one sharp, pointy fang, which had a inhumane whiteness to it. Just like about every vampire out there. He didn’t really bother hiding them, as some vampires did, who was hunting in the big cities. He choose his ’victims’ carefully, as to seek out the greatest tastes. Sometimes, he could go months without fullfilling his thirst.

His one eye took in her new hair. Purple. Last time it had been more towards black. He really didn’t understand this need to dye hair. He had lived with his natural hair for his entire life. Hadn’t grown tired of it yet. But he was also of another generation. He never really liked purple, now that he thought about it. He sighed.

”Do I need to remind you vampires are not bred? We get turned, if you should have forgotten. Or have that changed, while I have been asleep?” He waved his hand to let the topic go, before going into the room, from where he could smell the faint trace of life. It seemed to stick to people for a while after they had died.

”You should really clean up after yourself. Do not want to have flies fluttering everywhere.” He stopped and looked at the white corpse. ”A hunter, eh?” He muttered to himself, before wondering, what he should do with the corpse. He didn’t want to risk setting fire to himself, if he had to burn it.
(OOC: GAH! He's response sound so gay x.x Even after I changed it like 5-6 times.)

Ari gave Charaa a baleful look. "I had planned on just leaving it here to rot, but I suppose not now," she said. She grabbed the corpse and walked it to a room with a fire place. Shoving the dead hunter in, she began feeling around his pockets for a lighter or matches. She never carried such things, being highly flamable and all. Finding nothing, she cursed under her breath. this day just kept getting better and better.

She stood up and examinined the curse. It was a human curse so it wouldn't last forever, but it was strong magic. She normally wouldn't mind waiting for the magic to fade, but she was certain with his royal prickness here, it woul dbe closer to unbearable.

(ack...sorry it took so long....tests and holidays....it's okay if he sounds a bit gay...he is a bazillion years old)

”Always the messy one, eh?” Chaara chuckled under his breath, before following her with a haunting stare, which usually made the vampires in the courts he visisted weak in their knees. Usually without it being his intention. It had been a while, since he whole-hearted had made efforts to ’woo’ somebody. It was just another thing his ’transformation’ had brought with it. He wasn’t bad at it before, but now his body was more entrancing than ever before.

Leaning most of his bodyweight against one of the doorways, while his eyes followed her search for something to start the fire. ”You would need something to jump-start the fire.” He said low and knowingly, before grabbing a bottle of old alcohol, which kind he wasn’t sure, that he had discovered just behind the doorway and poured it over the body, before, extremely carefully, finding matches out from one of his pockets. He was fairly sure it was a prank from one in the northern covern, since he had found it there after his visit.

He had a little bit mixed feelings about it, but figured they could be put to use. So, ever so carefully, he sat fire to the corpse and took a lot of steps backwards, while covering his nose as the smell of burning flesh entered his nosetrills. The stench made him leave the room and he ended up in the hall, where he took in the smell of old.

He looked at Arizona, before deciding, that he’d rather be stuck with a content grumpy vampire, than a hungry grumpy vampire. So he went down into the basement and got out a bottle ’less’ fancy blood. He didn’t remember what taste she prefered, but he didn’t really care. Luckily he had actually filled up enough blood for it not to be horribly to be with her. If you didn’t count her personality in.

Floating up the stairs again, he watched as she examined the ’wall’, before scoffing. ”It seems it’s made up of a powerful ’word’. You need to be erase the word for the wall to go down. Which, sadly, seems to be located on the outside. So unless someone bail us out, our only option would be to stay calm.” His eyes slit shut in a fox-like manner, while he still held the bottle quite close to his body.
(OOC: Got some art of him drawn in the meantime. It's here if you want to see it.

Arizona rolled her eyes and wondered again what god she had pissed off to end up stuck here with him. She didn't mind waiting, it wasn't like she was going to die before the curse wore off, but she had no clue how long it would take. She glanced as his prickliness and cocked her head. "Don't like being trapped?" she asked.

Looking down at herself she cringed. She was still covered the the bastard's blood. She glanced at the stairs. "I'm going to go search the place to see if I can find something a bit...cleaner to wear. I doubt I'll find anything, but it'll be better the just cooling my heels and it might make the night go by faster." She glanced at him again offering an open invitation to come along. She hated sitting around, and exploring the house would give her something to do.

EpicWizardKitty 01-17-2012 05:55 PM

Chaara really hated when people rolled their eyes. It was an ugly sight, he found, to be able to see so much of the white in their eyes. And the veins. The red veins pulsing with blood. He would usually stay clear of those, when he was out hunting for fresh liquid. When vampires did it, however, it just seemed incredibly stupid. Like they weren’t the superior race, but just evolved humans. Nevermind, that he had been human before. It had been such a long time since then, that he had forgotten about. Or simply didn’t bother, or want, to remember.

”Oh no. I’ve got enough blood for a while, merely don’t like the idea of someone wasting my time. Eventually the spell will wear off and we’ll get out. Merely seems like a waste to me.” He held out the bottle with blood. ”Can I offer you some…” He held the ’e’ in his throat, while searching for a more fancier word, than merely ’blood’. Coming up with nothing, he merely dropped the tone and looked at her.

With her next statement, he chuckled. It was quickly followed by a boyish and slightly perverted grin. ”Clothes are quite overrated, if you ask me. We were brought into this world naked. ’a shame we insist of covering a work of art up.” And the human body was art. To him the sound of the beating heart and the activity he could feel, tracing a finger along a living humans vein.
