Epic & Lav: Stuck (in the middle) With You
|
Ari slunk through the door of the old house. Stopping when her foor hit an creaking board. She raised her gun. She'd been certain the human had run in here. She stood still as she listened for the breathing. Smiling slowly and wickedly, she moved quickly across the floor into another room where the human was hiding. She crossed the room and grabbed the mortal. He was the last of his line, just one more hunter family wiped out.
Grabbing him, she let her eyes flash. "You will be killed, monster," hissed the human. "That may be, but not by you and not this night," she twisted his head to the side and let her fangs slide out. "I curse you then, only those creatures who live will ever be able to leave this house," he spat out as her fangs slid into his neck and she drained him until he fell limp in her arms. Tossing the corpse, she turned and headed back toward the front door. She pulled it open and walked right into a solid wall. "What, the hell?" |
Charaa had not slept well. He had awoken several times during the day by noises, that sounded vaguely like footsteps. Once he swore, he could hear some talking over his resting place. He sighed, while reaching over and grabbing his tall glass with surprisingly thick, red liquid in it. He swirled it around the glass a few times, before chugging it down. |
Ari cursed again when she heard that sarcastic demeaning tone from behind her. It was bad enough the gypsy had trapped her in the house, but with him of all people. She really didn't want to turn around and look at the patch that remined her of her failure as a huntress, but the regal smirk always made her want to take a swipe at him.
Closing her eyes and pulling from a place deep inside her she controlled her rage. Turning she smiled sweetly, though they both knew it for a lie. With a flourish learned in the great courts of Europe, before the fall of Nepolean, she bowed to him. "My lord," she said as the intensity of his remaining eye hit her like a ton of bricks. She'd been turned centuries ago, but never had she seen an eye so intense in it's color. Her eyes skipped over the patch, the feeling of failure heavy on her chest. "I must say I am surprised. I never expected to see you in my neck of the woods again. Decided to go slumming with us more...common bred?" She'd already realized the spell, but frustration had kept her slamming into it. Not waiting for a response, she ran her fingers through her short hair, dyed purple this year. She had fallen in love with the idea of dying her hair different colors when she'd seen her first "punk-rocker"and had been following the fashion since. She tried to maintain a bit of professionalism and choose darker colors, but every once in a while she would go with a screaming pink or green. |
This was so not fitting in his plans for the near future. Still, he had to give the humans credit for this seal. It seemed strong. He tried scratching a little on the ’wall’, but all he got was a short pain, and as he pulled his finger away, it seemed scorched and gave out a small puff of smoke. He rubbed it a little and watched as the damaged skin got restored, before he turned towards the vampire huntress again.(OOC: GAH! He's response sound so gay x.x Even after I changed it like 5-6 times.) |
Ari gave Charaa a baleful look. "I had planned on just leaving it here to rot, but I suppose not now," she said. She grabbed the corpse and walked it to a room with a fire place. Shoving the dead hunter in, she began feeling around his pockets for a lighter or matches. She never carried such things, being highly flamable and all. Finding nothing, she cursed under her breath. this day just kept getting better and better.
She stood up and examinined the curse. It was a human curse so it wouldn't last forever, but it was strong magic. She normally wouldn't mind waiting for the magic to fade, but she was certain with his royal prickness here, it woul dbe closer to unbearable. (ack...sorry it took so long....tests and holidays....it's okay if he sounds a bit gay...he is a bazillion years old) |
”Always the messy one, eh?” Chaara chuckled under his breath, before following her with a haunting stare, which usually made the vampires in the courts he visisted weak in their knees. Usually without it being his intention. It had been a while, since he whole-hearted had made efforts to ’woo’ somebody. It was just another thing his ’transformation’ had brought with it. He wasn’t bad at it before, but now his body was more entrancing than ever before.(OOC: Got some art of him drawn in the meantime. It's here if you want to see it. |
Arizona rolled her eyes and wondered again what god she had pissed off to end up stuck here with him. She didn't mind waiting, it wasn't like she was going to die before the curse wore off, but she had no clue how long it would take. She glanced as his prickliness and cocked her head. "Don't like being trapped?" she asked.
Looking down at herself she cringed. She was still covered the the bastard's blood. She glanced at the stairs. "I'm going to go search the place to see if I can find something a bit...cleaner to wear. I doubt I'll find anything, but it'll be better the just cooling my heels and it might make the night go by faster." She glanced at him again offering an open invitation to come along. She hated sitting around, and exploring the house would give her something to do. |
Chaara really hated when people rolled their eyes. It was an ugly sight, he found, to be able to see so much of the white in their eyes. And the veins. The red veins pulsing with blood. He would usually stay clear of those, when he was out hunting for fresh liquid. When vampires did it, however, it just seemed incredibly stupid. Like they weren’t the superior race, but just evolved humans. Nevermind, that he had been human before. It had been such a long time since then, that he had forgotten about. Or simply didn’t bother, or want, to remember. |
