Name; Orion.
Age; 16.
Race; Nymph.
Bio; Orion, prince of the Nymphs, was water-born, and grew up around the beautiful Lavender Creek. Unlike the Nymphs from typical bedtime stories, the Lavenderite Nymphs were like normal people. Minus the pointed elven-like ears. When Orion was a small boy, about the age of eight, a battle broke out between his clan, and a clan of Hydras, the mighty serpant beasts with nine heads. Orion was the only one left living, mainly because he was the youngest in the whole clan. The Hydras took him away, to live in a hut, with one of the Hydra's servants, Lain. Orion and Lain occationally got some food, and had an endless supply of water. For the last eight years, Orion has cowered in the presence of anyone other than Lain. On the day of Orion's sixteenth year in existance, Lain was taken away, and has not returned in months, leaving Orion alone in the run-down, dirty hut.

Name: Kelvin Catrain
Age: 18
Race: Human
Biography: Kelvin was born in a tiny kingdom to a bright-eyed young couple that owned a little shop. He was the first of four children and the one his parents expected to one day take over their humble little store and inherit the cozy little home they all shared on top of it. Unfortunately, this would never be the case. When Kelvin was just nine or ten years old, there was a sudden draft ordered by the new king, who became paranoid after hearing of the battle between the Lavenderite Nymphs and the Hydras.
Training for all of the new recruits was more intense than most of the older knights had ever seen. The king’s goal was to train a perfect army in as short a time possible. If it had been needed, he would have let those kids waltz onto a battlefield at any given time without second thought. Kelvin grew up to be a wonderful knight, adept to skilled with many weapons. Most of his time is still spent training, though, and older knights often lovingly mock him for being so young by comparison. Though he dreads it when they do this, he really brings it upon himself in playing with the big boys so often.
He’s also grown to be extremely curious and likely to stray from groups.

Whilst in his 'home', Orion was practicing his magic. The Hydras knew not of Orion's growing magic. They had absolutely no idea that Orion was taught magic. After being fed, Orion pushed the food aside, and mustered up enough magic to slowly shrink down to the size of nothing more than a dime. Slowly, he snuck through a crack in the bricks, and ran into the forest. He ran, until finally he was out of the boundaries of the Hydras, and returned to his normal size.
For a few minutes, he tried calling out, but his voice had disappeared, from not drinking any water all day. Eventually, he found his way back to his home. Orion searched everywhere, for anyone, but it was obvious no one survived. Sitting by the waterfall, he drank some of the sweet, tasting water, and set off for the humans. It wasn't like he wanted to, but he had no choice.
It was far, so far, that once he got inside their kingdom, he collapsed from walking and running, and anxiety. Hoping someone saw his dull, yet still bright, clothes, Orion stayed there, slowly letting himself fall asleep.

Armed with only a bow and hunting knife, Kelvin merrily trotted along the forests on the outskirts of the kingdom. He had gone out not because his love for hunting or nature, but to escape from the day’s festivities. It was a time to kickback and pretend that life was always made of fun and joy. Men drank and youths danced to reward themselves for another hard year’s work well completed and to forget what sweat awaited them as soon as the next week. Kelvin, today, didn’t want to play a role in any of it. His head ached and the music had always irritated his ears, even when it moved his heart. Anyway, the air always seemed fresher far from the bustle of the always busy town.

There had once been a time when Kelvin had feared the very lands he treaded, having been warned as a small child that many strange creatures from other kindoms often spent time on the same grounds where lines blurred. With the exception of everyday animals such as the rabbits he'd hunted for fun since his early youth and the pigs that made his favorite meal, Kelvin had only once seen a nonhuman creature- a magic, as he once childishly called them. The entire town had buzzed with excitement when they heard of it, a single Hydra caught and brought to be flaunted so the everyday people of the kingdom could stare in wonder and so the young warriors in training could study the faces of what they'd long been told was their greatest enemy. That had been a full eight years ago, but Kelvin could recall it down to the last quick heartbeat and the dimming of the creature's eyes.

His bow held loosely with an arrow ready for the first sign of movement, Kelvin scanned the area. His attention was caught by a strange blue that broke the green of the leaves, grass, and trees. Lowering his bow, Kelvin cautiously made his approach. It was a color rarely seen in their kingdom, except for in times of celebration and holiday. Moving closer still, Kelvin realized it was a tired looking boy, resting in the grass of the apparently dangerous outskirts. He knelt beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder to try and shake the sleeping boy awake.
