That would be really neat. :)

The school should teach each instrument as a skill and as you play of course you get better and with each rank change you learn new songs... there should be like three small songs for each level of mastery and of course. Hidden songs that can be learned through hidden quests or finding legendary bards. I also think if they have another patch they should include other instruments that are era appropriate. Of course being a skilled bard should have it's diplomatic advantages. The more skilled performances you do that are quest oriented the better NPCs and such will like you. |
Would be cool if we could get a 'Bard' talent tree. Like the starting point being the ability to play an instrument, and from there it would split off into branches where one specializes in a particular instrument (flute, banjo, etc). |

I think if the Elder Scrolls did decide to do something like that they'd have to revamp the story line a bit where the NPC's would know of your "good" and "bad" deeds, but yet again that'd make this game a lot more similar to Fable. |

@Lockhead Electra - The puzzles aspect of the game would be where it would fit in mainly, and also for aesthetic value and have the ability to train followers in bardic skills fitting a more supportive role. |
Yeah, running around killing things got a bit old after a while. [sweat] |

Well, I don't mind killing others too much. I just really hate killing the people from my sanctuary though. In Oblivion I used one of the spells from the mod 'Fun with Magic' and resurrected all the members as soon as I killed them, so even though I've completed the questline, they still wander around the sanctuary, alive and well. :) |
OMG OMG! I love skyrim!! I made a wood elf master theif. She had maxed enchanting and maxed blacksmithing. Not to mention archery. I had just made her a bow that had two awesome enchantments.... then my boyfriend decided to delete my save for her.. I wanted to kill him.. Still do in fact! But it was an accident. I guess >.< He was just mad my toon was way more bad-ass than his warrior.

Haha, I think I downloaded a mod for playing as a Dremora, though it's been a while since I played...but ever since downloading it, I haven't played as any other race. I have a special love for Dremoras. [lol] |

Well the dark brotherhood aren't called that for nothing heheheheheh |
I know there's a way to use console codes to get someone to marry you, but I haven't been able to try it on a Dremora yet. xD (yeah, I'm totally marrying a Dremora if possible, considering I'm playing Dremora myself and I like Dremoras...) |

Honestly? I have a love/hate relationship with this game. This game is beautiful and amazing, but for a while it was nigh on unplayable because of the glitches. I know all games have their quirks, but this was just downright crippling. I had to shelf it for a while, but eventually I came back. It plays smoother now, so I can't really complain. As for what I had? I most often was a Dark Elf assassin-type build. I oftimes carried more poisons than healing salves and my sneak was incredibly high. My main weapons was of course, bow and dagger- though I also used a sword for when I was clumsy and blew my cover. x.x I also dabbled in some destruction magic- only for Runes, though. I really loved to set runes down in caves, pop an arrow off against the wall, which drew the enemy....then boom! Runes were also good for protecting my cover when I happened to get caught. 8D Set one down behind me and run, then turn and pop them with arrows.
oh and I was a villian. I was terrible. c.c I have absolutely no shame about it. I killed innocents and I enjoyed assaulting Vigilants of Stendarr. I took offense to them since I'm very fond of the Daedra. Boethiah is my lady. <3 |
Oh wow, I'd love a dragon mount that I can actually ride instead of just a cutscene where the dragon tosses me into some weird ruins to get to Valhalla. (can't remember the actual name of it in Skyrim, been too long since I last played it xDD;;) |
Lol I enjoyed ransacking their hall. In the name of Boethiah! I also have mad love for Sheogorath. Lol He is such a boss.
|
I cannot make an evil character, even if it is only fiction... I cannot make myself do dark brotherhood, although I watch others... my morals are too strong... (not saying others don't possess any, most of my characters reflect myself lol) I usually love to play a all mighty powerful arch mage!
|
My characters are usually kind of like me, with an interest in things that most other people avoid, like the Dremora. xDD |
The only other character build I had aside from my assassin was a conjurer/giant sword wielding beast-thing. I'd summon my Dremora and hack n slash away at everything. >> I really am terrible...I swear I'm not this bad irl, but in games, the dark side comes out. I'm awful in Dark Souls, too. lol. Methinks I enjoy hunting down the guilty for Master Gwyndolin too much?

@Antagonist - The only dreamora I found interesting in Oblivion was the last one in the paradise. |
lol in real life, I'm quite the pacifist. Just in any kind of work of fiction....whether it be my own personal writings or video games, my characters turn alittle dark. Now, not all of them are. I usually make one evil character and one good. lol. But I think Skyrim...it's way more fun to be evil in Skyrim. D: Though I was very passionately in love with the Companions. They're not evil, right? lol I had my character marry Aela.

@Kole: You mean the one that gave you the option to run an errand for him to free Anaxes (sp?) or fight him? I like the Valkynaz the best because their hair looks the best IMHO. xD And because I get to strip them nekkid for their valuable armor from the non-mages... |

@Antogonist - Yes, that's the one. I was always frustrated with the mages thinking at first I would find some powerful mage robes... I ended up creating some pretty powerful robes as I like walking around in robes as I play a mage for the majority. In Oblivion I ended up doing Knights of the Nine! I really liked that quest and of course the Shimmering Isles were fascinating and so rich and full of color. I was kind of sad to see sheogareth go. Elder Scrolls online will be coming soon--- so this should be quite interesting. I'm going to look up and see which provinces you can travel to-- I'm guessing Morrowind, Cyrrodel, Skyrim, and from the looks possibly Elswhyr?? I did watch a ten minute trailer and explanatation of it and it looks really interesting and in the spirit of Skyrim graphics -- maybe even just a tad more refined... I guess we will all soon see. |
Lol....Very nice. Sometimes, they need...."purging", as the Brotherhood would say. : 3 I still remember one time I watched Shadowmere fight and kill and Ancient Dragon. It was then that I knew he was the pony for me. D: Is the Elder Scrolls online for Ps3 too? D: That sounds pretty amazing, really.
