They are creatures that can disguise themselves in seaweed and are absolutely horrid little things. They're mean and hide in the seaweed to try and grab people and drag them under. At least I think that's what they are >.>

Haha yeah, they can. And I'm pretty sure there would be something to help sea-creatures get on land if they couldn't XD But you'd have to talk to Shadow to get specifics.
