i dono how to tell if its good or not. |
It depends on what you're going for~
If you're happy with the style, lining, color, composition, etc... then it's good! Everyone's got their own opinion of what's good or not, but the best opinion to go by is your own. Is this how you visioned it before you started it? Are there improvements you think you could make? I love the coloring. It feels like it has a texture to it. The only thing I think could be improved is the face/head. I think there needs to be more distance between the nose and eyes and the lips seem a bit big. But again, it depends on what you're going for and not all works of art are going for that perfectly proportional look. |
I love it!
I agree with Ikuto Akihiko: in everything she said. Not all great art is proportional, and there is a feeling of texture in it... To me, it feels like water color, I love the brushstrokes on the outline, skin, and dress (you can really see it there). Great mix of colors, and the the light pink background, as it gets lower on the picture, the darker the colors become. I see something that I often did when I was painting, I'd paint from the head down, like gravity, pulling the paint down from the top, just like how hair flows down. Again, I love it, keep it up. |
I like that there is a forehead, I'm terrified of foreheads... It looks soft :) I know this isn't helpful, but I love the ear and I don't know why...
