me and my roommate go around handing out gifts from the food shelf where we live. we just spent the last couple of weeks getting donations from customers from my roommates store. then probably hang out with family and friends.

I'll be cooking something sweet and in the new year's eve, we'll be making flying lanterns :D

Instead of fireworks, we'll be using lanterns. You know at least we're not that noisy and it's really nice watching them float in the sky.
They don't really symbolize anything. :)

I think I'm in to many chats with you I asked you a question around the event but I don't remember which one

yea its just hard for me to keep up when everyone is filling up pages with whatever theyre talking about

I've noticed that to.
I ask someone a question step away for a minute and my question is three to five pages back
it's hard to impossible to keep up with some of the chats.
which I guess is good because it means the site is active
but bad because I'm starting to feel like I'm in the way

Yeah a year ago I was once a part of the wallflower thread which at the time was real active and fast as opposed to now where the whole nation is a lot quieter.

I used to have to leave a tab open on mene to keep up with the wallflower thread but now I can leave nation threads like this one and come back to it still being on the same page or a maximum of the next. And it can even be like a day or two later. It's been at least a day maybe two since I was last on Mene and notice my last post in this thread is only few above this one. That's how much slower it's gotten here. It's sad.

I think I use to post on the wallflower thread.
I hope the slowness is just because of the time of year

my roommate spent all afternoon baking.
she made three different kinds of cookies and a fruit glazed cake

the whole apartment smells like sugar and fruit

Yeah that's a good point it could be the Holiday season although I think it's been slow for several months before too. I was absent for most of last year but I came back around sometime this summer.
