Nathen sighed as he walked around and looked around. He had no idea where he was even though he had been to this preserve before. Yet his simple walk he had taken had turned into a three hour walk that had twisted his anckle and gotten a gash in his arm. Holding his arms as he walked he soon sat down on a rock near a small stream. "this is great, just great. out of all the times I decide to walk I end up lost." he muttered to himself and wondered where he was.

(sorry spelled the name wrong up there XP )

Trish sighed as she walked through the forest gathering food and humming as her tail swayed lightly from side to side. Soon though she stopped dead in her tracks as she saw a male sitting by the watering hole and wasn't sure what to do. Though then she smelled the blood and got real worried. She carefully sat down the food she had gathered already and pulled in her ears and tail. Flinching slightly from the feel Trish slowly walked towards the male and was soon right behind him and lightly touched her hand to his arm where it was hurt. "Are you okay? Are you lost?" she asked softly and didn't even realize how she would look to the male with her ripped and battered clothes. She was more concerned for this males safety then what he thought of her.

Nathen nearly jumped when he felt a hand on him and turned to see a girl standing next to him. She looked in bad shape too. All her clothing were torn and looked to be in bad shape. "uh.. yeah I am lost." he said and then looked at his arm. "and I kind of fell when I was walking and got this. It isn't to bad but I need to get back home." he said as he looked at her. "what about you, you lost?" he asked

Trish looked down at her torn clothes when he asked if she was lost and gave a sheepish smile. "Oh no not at all." she said softly then pulled out a strip of cloth she had in a small bag and then another one a little smaller. She dipped the smaller one in the water then lightly cleaned the males arm before rapping the longer one around it. "There you go... so what's your name? I'm Trish" she said softly before standing and offering the male her hand to help him up.

Nathen was surprised when he heard her, "then if your not lost then what are you?" he asked as he looked at her and watched as she cleaned his arm. He then smiled when she wrapped it and then looked at her, "it is nice ot met you, I am Nathen." he said as he took her hand and slowly got to his feet. "do you happen to know where the way to camp is, I got kind of lost." he said as he looked at her and smiled slightly.

"It's nice to meet you too Nathen." Trish smiled before thinking some then nodding a bit. "Yeah I'm pretty sure I know where the camp may be." she smiled as she led him through the forest though was a bit worried this time... she hoped that he didn't come looking for her or have anyone else look for her... she didn't want to hurt anyone and if she was taken back to civilization she knew she would.

Nathen started to walk with her and wondered why she knew her way around here. "so uh.. why are you out here?" he asked as he looked at her and thought that she could use some help. She was kind of wild looking. Maybe she was out here hiding form someone or something along those lines.

"Um... well being here is pretty much my job... so you could kinda say I live here... I guess" Trish said softly and gave Nathen a bit of a smile though inwardly hoped that he wouldn't start any trouble for her... she was perfectly happy living where she was... even though she would rather live somewhere nicer....

Nathen nodded as he listened to her and smiled a little bit, "well once we get back I would have to say that I need to thank you in some way." he said as he looked at her. She had probably saved him from being lost and he didn't want to not thank her for doing all of this for him.

"Oh no no don't worry it's fine it's okay really you don't have to do anything for me." Trish blushed a bit though gave Nathen a slight smile to show him that he really didn't have to do anything for her... it would probably end up back anyway knowing her luck.

Nathen frowned when he heard her and shook his head, "sorry but your getting something. Knowing my family they will try to help you or give you something in return for helping me, whether you like it or not." he said as he followed her and hoped that she was okay with that. His family was a little pushy sometimes.

"Oh okay... it's okay I suppose then." Trish said softly before smiling as they came up to the camp. "Here ya go." she smiled as she looked at Nathen and smiled at him brightly and hoped that everything would be okay for him now.

Nathen smiled when he saw that they were back at camp and looked at her, "thanks.." he said as he smiled at her, "why dont you come and met my parents, they will probably like to met my savior." he said as he looked at her.

"Well I wouldn't say savior and your welcome." Trish blushed some though smiled at Nathen a bit... she just hoped that his parents didn't start anything unwanted for her. "So... lead the way I guess." she smiled a bit as they walked and wondered how his parents would react towards her... she knew she didn't exactly look... normal.

Nathen smiled at her and nodded, "come on, there this way." he said as he started to lead her towards the other end of the park. When they got closer you could see a van and besides it a tent. A lady with long hair, a green dress and sandles was pacing outside though stopped when she saw Nathen. Quickly she ran over and hugged him, "oh I thought you got lost." she said and Nathen pulled away, "hey, sorry mom but I got lost, thanks to Trish here I got back." he said and before he knew it his mother was hugging her to death.
