I think Mene needs more games. At least 1 or 2. Maybe 3 or 4. But we need more. I'm tired of just playing the same games.

That's not that logical, because it stands to reason that you'd get bored of those new games also...

Yeah that's true, but I played the first games for a long time until I got bored with them. And if they were games that could last long and take a log time. So I agree with Drexy still.

*sigh* the thing is though that games cost money to make or buy. Money that Menewsha just doesn't have. I would rather see them use the money they do have on paying to keep the site running and paying those that work hard to keep the site running, rather than on frivolous games.

Besides Mene is meant to be a chatting site rather than a games site. Talk to people if you're bored of games.

Yeah, it's not something a new member's gonna know or even think about. But the games cost around $3000 to produce, and the site makes no money, so...we'd love some more games, but right now it's just not an option because there's no funds to pay for them.

What if you buy games off one of those game sites like Java-gaming.com or Nitrome.com? They have tons of games. I understand what your saying but I'm just suggesting asking if you can buy games from them if you can.

I'm not sure if they can or not, but to buy them would still cost money that Menewsha doesn't have access to. We're not a big site with a ton of income coming in.

Buying a game from elsewhere would still require it to be reworked so that it could earn the player gold, and the coding completely checked so that it worked with Mene's software, and so it wasn't exploitable, and wasn't going to break anything.

In general, the man hours required to do all this would make it a financial liability. Easier by far, and also cheaper, to just produce your own game that was created to run in complete compatibility with the site's software.

But the fact still remains. Menewsha has NO money.

@ Jelly - Even if all the games didn't earn gold I'm sure people would still be happy to have more (like casual play jigsaw or something), so if they exploit it all they get is a complete puzzle

It would be important to label the non gold earning games though

To be perfectly honest, I don't see the point of buying games that won't earn gold. You could go onto an actual games site for that. :/
