Damien looked at her, "because lets just say they aren't really happy about me talking or touching you." he said as he flew faster. Thought once he felt like they were safe he landed in a clearing in a forest. "we should be safe but I cant be sure." he said as he looked down at her.

"Why? Why did you even have to watch me... please tell me I really want to know." Koinu said softly with a slight frown and really did want to know even if it bothered or scared her... she didn't care she just wanted to be ready for the worst in any case.

(so why do you think they needed to watch her? I was thinking maybe because she had a special type of soul or something? Like most souls were either good or bad but hers was both or something?)

((I like the idea that she has a special type of soul but how about they are using her to basically get power. Her soul sends off a certain type of signal that powers fallen when being hurt. So they are using her to get power to wage war with the other angels or something along those lines. What do you think?))

(Yeah but maybe the reason that they hadn't had her brought to their base yet or something was because they still were trying to figure out how to harness the power or something without killing the soul?)

Koinu sighed slightly when the bus finally stopped and looked at Damien as they got off the bus and wondered exactly why he wanted to move two cities over again... wouldn't the angels still be able to find them? She still didn't even understand why they wanted her anyway... she just knew that Damien said that they would do pretty much anything to get her... but for what she still didn't fully understand.

Damien smiled at Koinu and was glad things were going good so far. If they got there hands on her things would be in horrible trouble. But so far he had kept her safe and that was all he wanted. Standing up he smiled and held out a hand to her, "come on, this is our stop. A hotel is just down the street." he said as he smiled at her and was glad she hadn't asked too many questions. Yet he knew that she was filled with them and probably would like them answered sooner or later.

Koinu nodded and took Damien's hand though you could still see the confusion and questions in her eyes. She was so curious as to what exactly the others wanted her for and why they had to leave the city... though she would wait till they were alone to ask her questions not really wanting to draw any unwanted attention to them.

Damien could tell she was very confused and the questions she had were on her lips. Walking out of there he lead her down the street and soon came to a five star hotel. Heading inside he talked to the manager for a few minutes. ONce he was done he managed to get them one of the best rooms they had and headed over to the elevator with her. ONce inside he looked at her, "okay, ask away, we should be safe." he said as he smiled a little.

Koinu sighed a bit thinking some on what to ask and how to ask it. "What will they do to me if they catch us... and what will they do to you? I'm still confused about the whole thing... including why they even want me..." she said softly and really was confused and just wanted to know what was going on.

Damien sighed when he heard her, "well they will try to use the power that your soul sneds off." he said as he looked at her, "you see your soul is different from others, it actually powers us when your being hurt. They want the power but have no idea how to harness it. But lately they have had a break threw and want you. So I intercepted them though." he said as he looked at her, "and if they catch me they will kill me in a heart beat."

Koinu shivered a bit then whimpered some when he said that they would kill him if they found him... not even really at the thought of them hurting her... just them killing him... he was really nice, he didn't deserve to die. She smiled just a little when they finally got to their floor and were soon in their new room. She sat on one of the beds and relaxed a bit just liking how good it felt just to sit on a real bed. "Can't they just track you though?" she asked quietly and unsure "can't they track me at least..." she whispered unsure though really hoped that wasn't the case.

Damien stayed alert as they walked to there room and once inside he locked all the doors and windows, making sure that no one could get in. He then sat down in a chair and smiled as she relaxed on the bed, "no, I made sure that they couldn't track me. I found a way to conceal myself to a degree that no other fallen can detect me. But yes, they can track you since your soul is unique. Yet I will make sure that they wont take you. I will protect you with my life." he said as he looked at her and you could tell he ment it. "now get some rest, I know you will need it after everything."

Koinu frowned slightly though nodded and curled up in the bed hugging one of her pillows close as though it were a teddy bear. Though it wasn't very common or known her old master use to treat her very well and she even had pets of her own and her room was filled with stuffed animals and pillows... though she normally stayed in her masters room curled close to him. He was like her father or her brother... he never mistreated her and always treated her well... that's actually why he would let her sleep in his room... he didn't want her to feel like she was alone or not loved. So ever since she was bought she had really missed being able to cuddle close to something.

Damien frowned when he saw her face though walked over. Pulling at the covers he gently wrapped them around her and found himself gently stroking her head gently. "I promise that nothing will happen to you. If you need me I will be in the other bed." he said to her softly and headed to the bed that was right next to her. He wasn't sure if she wanted him in the same bed as her and he layed down in the bed. His wings hugged his back as he layed down and he curled up uned the covered. Though he found he couldtn' sleep, he had to much on his mind now that he actually had Koinu so close to him.

After a few hours of laying in her curled up ball under the covers Koinu started to whimpered a bit and cry out slightly, her legs moving a twitching a bit just as a dogs would. She whimpered more and more as she laid there though soon enough she turned and fell off the bed whimpering and crying slightly though not waking in the least.

Damien was still up yet was slowly falling asleep when he heard her whimpering. Though when he heard her fall of the bed he was up on his feet. Walking over to her he gently took her into his arms and picked her up. "sh everything is okay." he said as he sat down on her bed and held her close. Soon he found himself laying down though and stroking her head as he tried to calm her down and whispered soft, soothing things to her.

After about five minutes of Damien holding her Koinu slowly calmed down and just curled up close to him seeming to like being held. It wasn't just the fact of him holding her, she liked the closeness and the warmth of him having his arms around her and her being cuddled so close to him... it just seemed to make her very happy and comfortable.

damien smiled as she calmed down and watched as she curled up close to him. He gussed that he would be sleeping here tonight. Pulling the covers over them he made sure that she was comfortable and then clsoed his eyes. After a little bit he was in a light sleep, holing her close to him.

Koinu slept for quite some time just peacefully laying there and seemed quite happy. Eventually though she slowly awoke at about eight in th emorning. That was about the time she normally got up so when she woke up at first she was startled though then she calmed and just curled close to Damien rubbing her head up against him lightly and affectionately.

Damien woke up when he felt her rub her head against him and smiled as he looked down at her. "morning." he said to her softly and gently stroked her head, "I hope you slept well." he said softly as he looked down at her. "are you hungry? I can get you anything you like." he said to her softly.
