That's what I thought but the way you said it it made me wonder because I know if you have a dog that is rebellious, you are supposed to bite them so they get you are in charge... I have heard that multiple times anyways. So that's why I asked. >///> *feels dumb*

sadrain 11-12-2012 10:46 PM

XD Oh, sounds like my cat... always destroying something (including my legs).

LOL, exactly. The new vamp hunter business. Gotta make living, eh?

I threaten dogs like that. Usually something like if you bite me I'll bite you back harder. It seems to confuse them.
My cat isn't much of a biter, unlike my mom's cat. Anytime he walks close to you he tries to bite you.

Most of the time at work we threaten to kick each other.

sadrain 11-12-2012 10:52 PM

My cat used to stretch clawed (she doesn't go out or her claws cut, so they are always loong and a bit out) paw to my face sometime when I took her, it was mostly accidental (since she knows that's not allowedz), but one time I did "nom" on her paw, very lightly. Never has been repeated again. XD

Damia Flagg 11-12-2012 10:59 PM

I guess you got a mouthful of fur?
About the only time my cat claws me is when he decides to get up & sort of uses me as a spring board. He never did figure out how to jump all he can do is run & leap. The worst is during the night when he runs through the house & across my husbands feet or legs & lands on my stomach. He wants everyone awake & giving him attention.

star2000shadow 11-12-2012 11:01 PM

LMAO.. I did that to nala she swatted my face and i ptu a bit of pressue on her paw.. she kinda go this startled tilt to her head.. hasn't swatted for my face again.. though is FASCINATED by my glasses and keeps tryign tot ug them off my face to look at htem lol.

I think my bigboy likes when I mess with his paws as long as it's not time to get his claws trimmed. I rub around the pads of his paws every few days or weeks to make sure they aren't hurt or that he hasn't got something in them. I think it sort of relaxes him like it does me to get my feet rubbed.

Awww, that's so cute! My dog hates it when people play with her paws.

My cat is extra grumpy creature who minds everything out of sake for minding against it. But we have learned to learn when her grumpy looks or noises are for real and when she is just being a sourface.

That's crazy. I have never met an animal that was just grumpy because that was just how they were.

Damia Flagg 11-12-2012 11:48 PM

My mom has one cat that is sort of grumpy. I don't think she likes many people. She loves me unless I tough her belly. Then she tries to bite me.

Falconwing 11-12-2012 11:52 PM

Hm, my dog loves it when you rub her belly.

spunky 11-13-2012 12:02 AM

My dog liked having his belly rubbed too. He was so cute!!!

star2000shadow 11-13-2012 12:34 AM

We had a wolf who didn't like having his belly rubbed, but he wouldn't bite he'd just woll away and then walk away and if you werent carefull you often got hit with his tail which was BOOONEY..

You... you had a wolf?!!!! *gasps* Sounds like the best thing in the world.

Damia Flagg 11-13-2012 05:02 AM

I would love to have a wolf or a fox. I think both are beautiful animals.
Of course I might be a little odd because I think skunks are cute, they just smell bad.
I have wondered how a skunk would be as a pet if it didn't have the scent gland.
I figure the most unusual pets I will ever have are my bob-tailed cats. We currently have 2 of them, one is a kitten & the other has been scared of people, but he is slowly coming around. He will let me pet him as long as I don't touch his head. I think whoever had him before he showed up at our house must have been really terrible to him. It has taken several months to get him adjusted to us. He used to runaway when we got within 5 feet of him. He is a beautiful cat, dark grey & such soft fur & muscular.

Yeah You say that.. darn thign wouldnt' let us leave theyard.. she'd grab the back of our pants and drag us back intot he midle of the yard before going and laying down. mom said she was the best baby sitter ever.. a stranger couldnt' come NEAR us without the wolf growlign at htem.. apparently we were considered her cubs.. this was back when iw as about five to twelve.. she died of old age.. but come on twelve years is pretty long for a canine.. thing was ancient.. least it hink it is..she was an adult when mum got her so yeah.. this was when we lived in kenosha though so 'shrugs' and im talking wisconsin not wyoming..

Damia Flagg 11-13-2012 05:14 AM

I have never meet anyone who actually had a wolf as a pet.
(giggles thinking about Star & her wolf babysitter...
Star you can't escape the yard while mommy wolf is on duty...drags you back by the seat of your pants, careful not to get a mouthful of tail)

Remember a family a few years ago that had an odd variety of animals in their small yard. If memory serves me correctly, they had: a cow, emu, a fawn, dogs, cats, chickens, maybe a pony. The fawn even had a collar on.
