Bio: Gemini is a princess of a small village in japan.as a child, she played in the forest.she once met a demon boy and they played together.at the e.d of the day, they promised eachother that they would someday marry, but Gemini forgot about the demon boy over time.now she is of marrying age, and is betrothed to a prince she has never met.
Personality: shy,kind, caring and imaginative.Gemini often can be found reading or daydreaming about the forest.

Bio: Ethan grew up on the other side of the forest in Japan. He remembers that when he was younger, he had met a human girl there...she had promised him that when they got older they would get married. Ethan has been holding her to that promise, but hasn't seen her in the longest time. He wonders what happened to her and if she still remembers him.
Personality:He's very kept to himself, kind and cruel when he wants to be. Ethan can be seen walking through the forest at nighttime with his pet Skylar.

Gemini sat in her room, looking out the window wistfully.ever since her 13th birthday, she had been confined to her large, sprawling home in the village.her parents had started at that point to prepare her for marriage.she had been betrothed to a prince from a larger village, and was expected to marry him even though she had never met him.she was quite unhappy, being such a free spirit as she was, and she escaped to her room whenever she could.at the moment, Gemini was watching the sunset and remembering a dream she had had as a child.she had been playing in the forest at the time, and started to imagine that she had met a demon boy.she played with her imaginary friend all day, and in the sunset they had promised to marry.when she had woken up the next morning, she had smiled at the dream and moved on.she had never forgotten that dream, and now she wished more than anything that her dream boy was real.even if he was a demon, she felt that if he were real she could at least marry someone she knew, someone she loved.she sighed as the sun disappeared and her daydream was ruined."princess princess why do you cry..." she sang the lullaby that her mother had sang to her when she cried as a baby.a tear rolled down her cheek.

while Gemini sat in her room,her father walked through the forest talking to the father of the prince she was to marry."yes,she is a beautiful child,and will bear perfect hiers to both our kingdoms.she hasnt said much about the marriage,but its better that way.she's not happy,i can tell,but she wont argue.as strong willed as she used to be,i believe we've broken her.better seen and not heard,i say.yes,Gemini will make a perfect bride,as long as she stops her talk about the forest ans demons." her father said proudly.the other man seemed impressed and nodded."you seem to have raised the princess quite well.im sure my son wont mind her imagination.demons,honestly..." the man returned as they walked right past the demon in the forest.thier conversation faded as they got further away,and was soon replaced by a soft voice,singing. Gemini finished singing as she sat in her window.the song reminded her of her dream, and it made her sad."I must stop dreaming.it was only a dream, and I must get married now.the prince...he will be good to me.father says so..." she tried to convince herself.she didn't know that her father was a dirty liar that only wanted her gone so that she could produce male heirs.he never cared for her, he only wanted to use her for his own gain.but Gemini admired her father and thought that he loved her."but I still...I wish..." she couldn't finish her sentence.

Gemini looked up at the sound of screeching.sometimes an eagle or falcon would fly close, and she would sing to them until they left.she always envied them for being able to fly away.it surprised her when, instead of a bird, it was a baby dragon staring back at her."oh, hello there little one.how did you get here? I thought dragons stayed in the mountains." She said."you shouldn't stay long.my parents don't believe in magical creatures, so if you're seen they'll probably try to hunt you down and figure out what you are.I wouldn't want you getting hurt." She added, worried.her father was out walking in the forest and was due home soon.

Gemini jumped a little in surprise as the dragon screeched again and flew downward. Being on the third floor of the castle, it was difficult to follow or even see where the creature went.she had snuck out before, thanks to a giant cherry tree that grew right next to her window, but risking it now, in her robes, with her father due back any moment, was entirely out of the question.she had to be a good princess."bye bye little dragon! Fly safely! Come visit sometimes ok? Maybe we can both be friends and not be lonely." She called out the window.she didn't know if the dragon was still there, but if it was it definitely would have heard her.

Gemini faintly heard the screech of the dragon and sighed."maybe it will come back..." she said to no one.and in her heart she really hoped it would come back,and maybe even bring help.she went to bed soon after that,and when her father returned and checked in on her he was pleased to see his daughter still there,sleeping soundly.when Gemini woke the next morning,she was instantly mobbed by ladies in waiting,who all eventually explained to her that her father had set the wedding date to the next day.Gemini was horrified.she wasnt ready yet! she didnt want to get married yet,especially since she only had one day to prepare! and what if the dragon came back? when she had a moment to herself,Gemini leaned out her window and cried.she felt hopeless.

Gemini looked up at the sound of wingbeats and a now familiar screech.she sniffed."oh, you came back.what's this? A rose? Now, where did you find a rose around here? Its so pretty." She said, holding her hand out."im glad you came, little one.this might be the last chance I get to see you.see, my father set my wedding for tomorrow,and after that I'll have to move to that prince's palace on the coast.im.sure its nice there, but I love my mountains, my forest.not that it really belongs to me, but I always think of it as mine.can you help me, little dragon? Can you save me, my friend?" She asked, not sure if the dragon was old enough yet to understand human speech.it just felt good to talk to someone.

Gemini watched the little dragon as it flew away and then back.she wasn't the best at body language, but it was easy to tell that the creature was trying to tell her something."what? Is there something down there? You want me to go see, right?" She looked around and listened a moment.all was quiet, for now."ok, I think I have a couple of minutes.enough to climb down, look, and come back up anyway." She said.she had her best robes on, but at this point she really didn't care.she looked around one more time and climbed out the window and onto the strong branch that ran right up to her window.after steadying herself on the branch, she started climbing down from branch to branch, agile as a cat, then hung from the lowest branch- which was easily twenty feet high- for just a moment before dropping lightly to her feet and straightening up, brushing her robes off."ok little one, what's down here...oh.hello there...do I know you from somewhere?" She asked, feeling that the boy in front of her was familiar in some way.

Gemini blinked and shook her head."Ethan...?" She asked hesitantly."I...no, that's impossible.that was a dream.you can't...how do you know about my dream?" She shook her head again."even if it was real, it was just a child's promise.I've been promised to someone else.a prince.father says he's nice.look, I've got to go.they're going to wonder where I've gone, and I'll get into trouble.I'm sorry, Ethan.I enjoyed meeting your dragon...and I'll keep the rose.I really loved it." She said, pain and sadness crossed her face at the mention of her husband to be, but she tried to hide it."I'm...sorry."

"No! You don't understand! I didn't lie...I don't even remember everything! This whole time I thought it was all just a dream.that's what father told me when I woke up and I told him.he said I had been dreaming.I don't...I don't have a choice." Gemini tried desperately to explain, to make him stay."I don't want to marry the prince! I don't even know his name.but I don't have a choice.father arranged it and the arrangements have been made...and I will not throw away the rose! Its proof that you're real.its...a nicer gift than all those stupid gold and silver expensive things everyone has been giving me my whole life.please don't go, ok? Help me figure out...help me get out of this.if I run away, father will just find me and punish me.I've never been farther than that clearing in the forest.where we met? I don't know where I could go that he wouldn't find me."

Gemini blinked.she hadn't expected that he would try to help."your house...?" She blushed, but also looked a little scared."I've never been that far...oh, wait! My mother knows!" The revelation rocked her to her very core."she used to sing me a lullaby,and it was like she was telling the future.it went 'princess, princess, why do you cry? In a forest lit by the setting sun, I made a promise to a demon boy...' its like a prophecy.maybe that's why she never said anything about you when father told me it was a dream.she knew...but would she tell father if I went with you? Oh, I don't know!" She covered her face in her hands, torn by confusion.after a moment of composing herself, she spoke again."ok.ok.how about this.you stay nearby tonight.tomorrow before the ceremony, send your dragon to me in my room and I'll give her a message with my answer.if it's yes, climb this tree next to my room and I'll come down with you and we'll escape.ok?"

Gemini sniffled."ok.alright, we'll do that then." She said.she was about to say something else when the sound of someone calling her name drifted down from up above."my mother! I should go.I'll contact you tomorrow." She said, and quickly climbed back up the tree."oh, sorry I mistook you for a girl, Skylar!" She called down as she re entered her room and opened the door."hello mother." She greeted the woman as if nothing had happened.her mother entered and commenced giving her 'the talk' while Gemini listened and blushed.
