I am okay BBR. My eyes hurt though. How are you?

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 12:37 AM

-headdesk- Sometimes friend's boyfriends are so freaking annoying.

blueblackrose 01-16-2012 12:37 AM

I'm doing alright. Just munching on some dinner right now.

Kayxx 01-16-2012 12:40 AM

Romantic drama is something I understand and at the same time do not understand.

Damia Flagg 01-16-2012 12:41 AM

Vixen how many roommates do you have?

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 12:44 AM

I only have one roomie but I don't see her often.

It's actually just I made plans to go out with my friend three days ago. Today rolls around and her boyfriend (who wasn't even discussed in hanging out with us) decided he was too tired to do anything so now she has to stay home with him. -headdesk- I called her out on the fact she's cancelling going out with me to basically babysit, but somehow I'm the inconsiderate one. xD

Kayxx 01-16-2012 12:45 AM

Boyfriends and girlfriends sound overly complicated. I have concluded that it is best to have cats.

Damia Flagg 01-16-2012 12:48 AM

That's sort of rude of her. If she made plans with you & then cancelled because of him then she is the one being inconsiderate.

EXACTLY. xD Thank you. Can you knock some common sense into her for me, please?

Kayxx 01-16-2012 12:49 AM

*Does not social relationships at all* I am quite hungry.

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 12:51 AM

Believe me they piss me off often. xD I see things that should be simple common sense but my peers here seem to have a hard time wrapping their heads around it.

Sure, I don't really have anything much else to do today.
Husband is trying to get some work done to take to his boss tomorrow. So I'm kinda bored.

That situation sounds kind of familiar. >.<;

I totally agree.

Kayxx 01-16-2012 12:54 AM

Friends with boyfriends/girlfriends probably complicate things but I wouldn't know.

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 12:56 AM

Yeah they do. They're utterly annoying. Because situations like the one I described happen all the time, but rarely does the friend in the relationship get that they're being stupid or rude.

Damia Flagg 01-16-2012 12:58 AM

And I'm afraid that you will be putting up with this kind of behavior for a few more years until they mature enough to realize what they are doing. I had several friends who acted like that in college.

Kayxx 01-16-2012 01:00 AM

Get more single friends. Or cats. Cats are better because they actually do care although they pretend that they don't and will comfort you under the guise of selfishly sitting on your lap when you need to get up.

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 01:00 AM

Haha believe me, I'm just going to the next person on my contact list in my phone. xD

Kayxx 01-16-2012 01:01 AM

That is also a good plan.

Damia Flagg 01-16-2012 01:01 AM

@ kayxx - cats are sneaky like that.

Kayxx 01-16-2012 01:03 AM

They are. They are the type of animal to play hard to get. They are also tsundere at times. Or tsuntsun. Rarely deredere.

Vix~~tell her boytoys come and go but true friends should be treated much better that that!

Vixen with a Vendetta 01-16-2012 01:06 AM

Unfortunately this one won't go away. xD He's been dating her for seven months now.
The annoying thing is I know they won't even be doing anything fun. He's usually depressed and seems kinda lame to hang out with. So add that to him being sick... Oh yeah girl, you cancel your plans with me to hang out with that instead. XD LOL.

blueblackrose 01-16-2012 01:06 AM

It's annoying when they or even others don't see the common sense in who is being rude.

I remember in college my one friend from out of state she moved off campus to live with her boyfriend at his apartment. After a couple months of not actually being able to hangout with my friend I complained to a couple of our other friends about never getting to hangout with the one who was living with her boyfriend. They tried to act like I was the one being inconsiderate and that the excuse of this is the first time she has been about to be so close to her boyfriend to justify things. I was like fine, I'll give her more time to let the novelty of being able to be with her boyfriend everyday wear off. It didn't and what really pissed me off was that she would hangout with the one friend I had said something to. Oh and the fact that she gave me the excuse of her boyfriend comes home tired and doesn't really want to do anything as an excuse for why she hadn't been around.

Ok I'll stop ranting now.
