Reading Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose. Maybe you or somebody you know has seen the tv series? About E company in WW2 and the real accounts and experiences they went through in the war. Some really sad moments on the series so i thought i'd read it as its only a short read ^^

yeah its not something i would have watched but i saw it with my ex and his guy mates so i had no choice but it was really good. Very in depth and doesn't miss out any of the horrors war veterans faced to save our country! And the books very close to the series so far so i know its going to be a worthy read =3

Search up Temeraire by Naomi Novik

It starts with a naval officer who's captain of a ship. They capture this french ship and part of the bounty is a dragon egg thats about to hatch. He ends up having to harness the dragon and give up his naval life to be an aviator for the corps. Basically the air support. Turns out its a really rare dragon, and it speaks and loves shiny things and being read to and is extremely loyal to his master. I loved reading eet! it was like 3 genres in one haha, so it was nice to read. Ordered myself the next 3 in the series off amazon :D
