Ugh, lip reading - it bothers me how many people see it as an ok way method of communicating with Deaf. There are SO many words that can be confused with others. xD [headdesk] Sign is a way easier way of communicating. [yes]

Don't forget the thumb in there as well, and you've got it. Do you know why that's the sign for ILY? Because it combines the letters I, L and Y into one sign. [heart]

Do Orange flavoured Milano cookies count? If yes, then we do have those! [yes]

@ Hope - I know... o.o I thought knowing it would help... as I have a lot of trouble understanding what words people are using sometimes as is...

I swear one day I'm going to have a small get together and invite a bunch of menewshans to hangout for a day or two so I can meet some of you guys.

Poet: Eh, you just have to be REALLY careful about how you say things, and even then the margin for mistaking something one says, is high. [XD] There are some Deaf who're alright at reading lips but honestly, it's not easy to do at all.

*lol* I'd be the one hiding in the corner, wearing earplugs, with my camera in hand. xD

Well to be honest I wanted to learn to READ it more than SPEAK it in a way that works... I mumble far too much for that.

Haha nah Hope... it'd likely not be more than a few people... and you'd likely know them all...

Poet: Oh, I so agree! I remember getting towards the end of my flight I started freaking out a bit, but as soon as I met up with her at the airport, I felt totally fine. =] We has a blast. =] I was down there for 2 1/2 weeks. :)

And totally just read your post about your hand cramping with ILY - my hands rarely cramp now when signing, but then again this will be my 5th semester as a Deaf Studies major. So I am used to it. =]

Well poet is very bad with poet's hands as poet cramps with a lot of things.

Poet is much so looking forward to inviting that friend to live with them forever when poet graduates college. Then poet needs to figure out how to propose and stuff after a while... proposing is hard...
