Do they hurt when they grow in? D:

HIM_ROCK 09-14-2012 08:29 PM

Depends on how good you are with pain really it can be really painful or a dull ache.

The Wandering Poet 09-14-2012 08:34 PM

Poet is 23 and still waiting on their wisdom teeth... =/

HIM_ROCK 09-14-2012 08:37 PM

Some people never get their wisdom teefs.

HIM may have to see about getting the other top wisdom toof taken out.

The Wandering Poet 09-14-2012 08:41 PM

Well they're growing... very... very damn slowly! D: I just want to rip the bloody things out... I don't need them to cause headaches later!

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 08:46 PM

I'm almost 24 and I only have one wisdom tooth. And it's been coming in since I was 21... and still isn't all the way in. And drives me absolutely mental at times. [XD]

The Wandering Poet 09-14-2012 08:48 PM

I know the feeling hope XD

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 08:50 PM

It took over a year to break through fully and boy, that was painful at times - not painful enough to get it taken out, but just irritating. :( I'd find myself trying to find things that I could chew back there to just massage my gums to try to get them to stop bothering me so much. [:(]

dessertdesiert 09-14-2012 08:53 PM

i got all my wisdom teeth taken out at 16 >.>'

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 08:54 PM

I was told before I was 21 that I didn't have any wisdom teeth, and then at 21 they were like "Oh, wait.... You do have one." *smacks head into wall*

dessertdesiert 09-14-2012 08:57 PM

Did you get them taken out? I don't get how you could only have one....

BTW Poet check your trades

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 08:59 PM

dessert: No I did not get them taken out. I just have only one. That is what they told me and that's what I saw on the x-ray that they took when they found it three years ago.

My dad didn't have any - my mom had all four. I just have one.... On my top left side. Believe me, I don't know why I only have one, but that's all that I have.

HIM_ROCK 09-14-2012 08:59 PM

HIM wishes HIM'd had the top two taken out earlier as HIM tends to grind the teeth in the night made worse by the fact the top ones don't fit in properly, so waking up with headaches is common place.

dessertdesiert 09-14-2012 09:01 PM

How old is HIM that xi is having problems with the wisdom teeth?

Nemo did you ever have problems with headaches?

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 09:02 PM

Dessert: Nope, not from this at least. Just irritation from it coming in. I have room for the one. I get horrid stress and dehydration headaches though - absolutely horrible, and I've had more stress headaches in the last two weeks alone than I've had in forever. They suck horribly. :(

dessertdesiert 09-14-2012 09:06 PM

AWww I am sorry to hear about the stress headaches

HIM_ROCK 09-14-2012 09:07 PM

HIM's wisdom teeth have been causing problems since the begining of time! HIM had to have a tooth removed because the wisdom tooth was comming up underneath another and pushing it out the way D<

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 09:07 PM

Eh, hopefully what I ended up doing - breaking a 12 year friendship because the friend in question was causing all the headaches (well her on top of stress over exams), will help. She really was bad for my health. [:(]

dessertdesiert 09-14-2012 09:08 PM

Oh wow, sorry to hear a "friend" was ruining your health.

RoadToGallifrey 09-14-2012 09:09 PM

Sorry to hear that, Nemo :C

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 09:09 PM

Eh... she's just an immature clingy person who is rude and treats me like her verbal punching bag. I can't let myself be that person anymore.

Bucket: [hug] It's really not hit me yet, that I've just given up and am trying to move on. But basically I've lost a sister - as she was like a sister to me. [:(]

hummy 09-14-2012 09:16 PM

do we get wiser when wisdom teeth come in?
hello everybody♥!

nemo.love_22 09-14-2012 09:17 PM

hummy: I don't believe that we do - just more irritable when we start teething at whatever age they start to come in. [XD]

The Wandering Poet 09-14-2012 09:17 PM

@ Hummy - depends.. does pain give wisdom?

hummy 09-14-2012 09:18 PM

maybe wisdom is over rated?
pain is awful.
*pouts*
