Great, now i'm looking at a medical dictionary thing online, out of boredom.
I have nearly everything here according to symptoms. xP

Speaking from experience you shouldn't do that shit. xD It gets to your head.

I just know some people don't like their threads spammed with stuff. I'd rather ask because its not a big deal and you're right here. :)

I do too, but...Well, doctors hate me when I go into the office and start talking about my symptoms and stuff I've researched, they dismiss me as 'that crazy teenager'

=__= even though I'm twenty-one.

why do you have headaches?

spunky 09-18-2012 07:18 PM

You should drink water if you are having headaches. That works for me - most of the time.

Tell me about it.
Doctors are a pain.
I went to the doctors for years about one thing and they were just like "Yeah, it's natural, deal with it". . . Then I ended up in hospital and they realised that there was actually a problem. Took 8 years. . .

Who knows. I used to get tension headaches all the time as a teen. Not sure if it's that, lack of sleep or dehydration. Either way, it wont shift. >/

hummy 09-18-2012 07:19 PM

most headaches are due to dehydration.

That might explain why I get headaches so much when i feel really thirsty...

Are there any other symptoms of dehydration?

Liztress 09-18-2012 07:22 PM

Most of my headaches tend to be from caffeine withdrawal or sleep-related (too much, too little...)

Water works wonders, especially for migraines. Yep hummy said it. Dehydration is the number one cause for headaches and migraines.

Thanks! I'm trying to save up for something nice for myself. Muahahar

Sleepiness, fatigue, dizziness.

monstahh` 09-18-2012 07:24 PM

Placebo - Yeah...I'm looking for a new doctor now. Unfortunately most are in the same building, so they all will have the same medical records and will probably all tell me the same thing.
I just want a blood test to test for PCOS and a test on my thyroid. I have a history of a slow thyroid, but now whatever I do I just seem to be gaining more and more weight, which could be caused by my thyroid! =__=' But they insist that I'm just fat and should work out more. I eat 1000 calories most days, and work out for AT LEAST an hour.

Wow, that is pretty bad of them. Are there no specialists around you can demand to see or anything? Doctors really need to care more.

And Bowling for Soup. [ninja] <3

I love all the bands you mentioned! xD I'm a massive Blink fangirl though, I still can't fully get over seeing them live haha. I'd love to see Bowling For Soup one day <3

My gynacologist was the one who refused me the test for PCOS.
She told me that the tests were pointless and I should just go on birth control.
Even though BC makes my skin disease a little worse. So I wanted to make sure I had PCOS first, and she told me that "you're not a doctor, I am, either take the script or don't, I don't care, but I'm not going to waste my time testing you for it."

[headdesk]

I haven't seen anything but dentists since because she terrified me. I spent the whole rest of my time in the office crying, and then I cried the whole way home ON THE BUS.

Citrus Hammer 09-18-2012 07:35 PM

Kitchen is done for now. Dad is due home soon so I won't mop the floor until later. It's been swept, though.

@monstahh: Wow, she's horrible :x You could probably go to just about anyone else and they'd actually help you.
