well let me try. i'll just write out it... two and two thirds times three and one fifth...

Multiplication of fractions? Convert the numbers to improper fractions.
2 2/3 x 3 1/5
will become
8/3 x 16/5 (2x3=6, 6+2=8, therefore 8/3 Repeat for 16/50
Now multiply the top numbers together, then the bottom.
8x16=128
3x5=15
Fraction becomes 128/15
Convert back to a mixed fraction.
15x8=120
Take the 120 out of the top number, turn it into a whole number (8), and leave the remainder as is.
Answer is 8 8/15
