Falcon: Thanks! I already have been told that I will probably get into one of them (the closer of the two) because of my grades/GPA (and also because I am local) but that one is my back up school, and I have to wait till March to see if I got into the other which is the one that I really do want! Gah, I hate waiting! [XD] Lol!

Nemo- Well I hope you get into the one you want! It's always nice to know that you are secure and will at least go to one but it is hard to give in and go to your second choice if you don't get the first; but I hope you do!! Waiting is the hard part!

Falcon: Thanks! Me too! I know that mum would appreciate that I go to the closer one, as it's only an hour and a bit drive from home, instead of eight hours, but the one that I am still waiting on is the better school for my major, so we'll see. People keep asking me if you get into both, which will you choose, and my immediate response is CSUN (the school I am still waiting on). And it really is the hardest part!

Nemo- Parents always want to have children close just in case. I know I went to an out of state school that was 15 hours away, my mom really missed me. But she was really happy to see me when she did.

Falcon: Oh, my younger brother is in an out of state school that is about the same distance driving time away - and was going to school 45 minutes from home (so they get to see me more often) -- and I'll still be staying in our state with my two colleges, one is just in NorCal where I am currently and the other is down in SoCal.
Mom is now refusing to let us get our tree till my brother gets home on the 18th. [headdesk] He's always be mommy's little boy, even though he's 19... we can't get it without him. xD Which get but at the same time... She wants us to wait till that close till Christmas to get our tree? XD |
Nemo- Yeah, that would be difficult. I am guessing that you all go out and buy a real tree?

Falcon: Yeah, it's tradition - dad suggested as we have a christmas party on the 15th (and my brother isn't getting home till the 18th) that we go get a fake one... I just looked at him like he was utterly mental... um...no. We can't have a fake one. [XD] Nothing against them, it's just not us. xD

Yay! [boogie] Ugh, I do have one more little assignment for my Sociology class that I still have to do that I don't wanna do. [headdesk] Finals were killer this semester - rather it was the combo of not having a break in between finishing NaNo and studying/finals... I think that's what was the killer combo. [XD]

i was bringing Sashie-belle in frrom outside and she wasn't cooperating. so i slide the sliding glass door shut and she was pushing her way inside, i had the charliebar between the sliding glass door and the charliebar, she pushed it and the steel bar went about a quarter inch inside my thumb! blood was gushing all over the place and i almost lost a circle of thumb but i squished it in and it's sort of healing now.
