I will be doing a combination of Visitor Service and Interpretive Programming (like bird hikes and programs about the CCC)

I went to college and got a degree to do just this!

Yeah, the toll roads are pretty much nothing in state, but once you need to get out, BAM toll fees. Also they have all these diners and food places.

However there are roads you don't need to pay tolls on xD

Oh I know, but most roads out of NJ have a toll on them. also some of the barrier islands have toll fees too.

that's insane! I guess i won't visit then.

I haven't been out of NJ since I moved here in August. I think the fee over into philly is like $2.50?

oh and the island fees are usually only like 50-75 cents.

Ah yeah, a long drive like that can kill a trip pretty fast. I'd say you could couch crash, but I'm living with my future in-laws and it looks like my nieces and nephew are going to be spending most of the summer with us too.

Sure! I don't know when that will be, because I'm just getting into my line of work and my fiance is still at school. But I will always have a couch worth crashing on.
